Came here for lunch with my family. This restaurant is not too far from the Honda Center down the street. It is in the same area as the Cinemark Century Movie Theater. There are plenty of parking here. Once inside, you find an open table and seats yourself. This place is quite nice inside. Very clean. They have outdoor patio seatings. Great view of the movie theater. We ordered the followings: Roasted Cauliflower - very good Cheese Pizza - son said it was ok Baked Mac & Cheese - not too bad Roasted Chicken & Mushroom Cauatappi - a little bland for me Margherita Pizza - everyone said it was a little salty The Burrata Pizza - again, everyone said it was a little salty Not sure what it was, maybe the type of cheese they used for the pizza was off that day. Pleasantly surprised by their great happy hour menu! Very disappointing experience. I ordered one plate of pasta (lunch special) during lunch around 12:30 p.m. and waited over 30 minutes without receiving my food, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. I was trying to make a movie across the street and eventually had to cancel and leave. The staff avoided eye contact, didn't seem welcoming, and offered no explanation, discount, or refund. I had a great experience at Pitfire. I brought my church family there to celebrate a birthday, and the whole night was awesome. The service really stood out. Jared, the manager, is an incredible guy super welcoming and attentive and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. We had such a good time that I went back again later, and the experience was just as good. Jared was there again and even remembered me, which meant a lot. It shows they really care about their customers. The food was great too the pizza was excellent but what really made the place special was the service. Overall, just a fantastic atmosphere, great food, and far-out service. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I don't know where they got the name Pitfire Pizza. There was no pit and certainly no fire. The experience started with confusion. When I walked in, there was no indication whether I should seat myself, wait to be seated, or order at the counter. After asking an employee, I was told to order at the counter and the food would be brought to the table. What immediately caught my attention on the menu was the 3% "Happy and Healthy Surcharge" added to all bills. Restaurants can charge what they like, but I prefer prices to be reflected directly on the menu rather than added afterward as a separate fee. I ordered the Margherita pizza. While it looked appealing, the flavor fell short. The pizza had a noticeable garlic oil taste that felt artificial and overpowered the simplicity I expect from a classic Margherita. The basil was fresh and appropriately portioned, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio was balanced, but the sauce itself lacked flavor. The crust was dense with little air structure and wasn't something I'd want to finish after the slices were gone. The restaurant appeared to cater primarily to families with young children, which created a more casual, cafeteria-like atmosphere than I was expecting. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but between the surcharge, the confusing ordering process, and a pizza that didn't live up to expectations, I don't see myself returning. read more

It was creamy and cheesy. 10/10 The say cheese pizza with extra cheese and ricotta added was good. That's a solid pizza. Had a nice flavor too. 8/10 for me. My husband got the honey bear pizza and loved it. He kept raving about how great it tasted with the honey. He ate the whole pizza himself lol 10/10 for sure Service was great. I rolled into Pitfire Pizza not knowing what to expect, but the moment I stepped inside, im seemed live a hip spot. Super bright, wide open, and made for people who love pizza and fun. It's right next to both the Ducks and Angels stadiums, so it's perfect for hitting up before or after a game, a concert, or just chillin' on a casual Sunday like I did today. So before I got here, I read some reviews and heard that the number one pizza was The Honey Bear. This pizza brings the sweet in all the right ways. It's loaded with creamy ricotta, melted mozzarella, provolone, spicy Italian sausage, Calabrian chili, a drizzle of honey, and even bee pollen. Yeah, bee pollen. It sounds wild, but it works...I never had honey on pizza before. The crust was blistered and chewy with those wood-fired char marks all over. The balance of sausage with that mild chili kick and the sweetness of the honey hit just right. Rich, a little spicy, sweet, and just a little floral from the bee pollen. Came here with my daughter before heading to the movies. I had heard about this so I wanted to give it a try. So they way the restaurant works is you go get your seat and then you go order your food at the counter. They give you your drinks right after you order at the counter. Then you go back to your table and wait for your food to come out. I ordered the aw' pear , it was not good. I ended you adding water to make it better. For entree's we ordered the margaritas pizza and the Cesar salad. The salad was butter lettuce which is good ,but the dressing on it so acidic and sour it was hard to finish the salad. This was disappointing. The reviews on here and on Uber Eats were great, so my experience was probably not too common, but has happened to other people. We ordered 2 pizzas. Both delivered and from first glance at the top they looked perfect. I ordered the Honey Bear (because it sounded amazing). Both pizzas were VERY burnt on the bottom. I mean charred. The dough was stretched so thin, it was a hard crunch with every bite. I think the flavors could have been great if there was more on the pizza (minus the burnt crust), but either the sauce and cheese were not enough or burnt off in the process somehow. I think there were 2 pieces of sausage on each slice. The ricotta amount was fine. The other pizza was pepperoni, olives, and mushrooms and it looked like there was a generous serving of the veggies. We did not finish our pizzas. I love pizza, but try not to eat it much, so this felt like a waste of a pizza night. read more

The eatery is located in a strip mall with other restaurants and a few walking paces to the Cinemark Orange movie theater. Pizzas are great, the honey bear and say cheese could use a little more cheese but the flavors are yum and on point especially for a thin crust NY style pizza. The happy hour price for pizzas is absolutely unbeatable for the pizza in this area. The Mac n cheese was very flavorful with multiple cheeses and a tasty toasted panko topping. The servers are very nice, helpful and it feels like you are hanging out with friends. I would def come back. I don't like to complain and I've never had any problems here in the past but have to share this experience. Their pizza is delicious! I ordered a margarita pizza and my friend ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce. It took over an hour for me to get my pizza and by the time I got it, my friend was done with her meal. I asked a couple waitresses why so long to get my food and they honestly didn't really seem to tear; one of them said that it was taking so long because it was happy hour, but over an hour for a margarita pizza? I finally went up to the desk and they said that it would be out soon and then it took another 15 minutes. The manager came to my table to apologize and offered me a salad and cookie and I thanked him but said that I just wanted my pizza or a refund. We really enjoy this place. Low key atmosphere, very clean and nice though. Food is excellent. We have had four different pizzas, their Caesar, and quite a few appetizers. All were excellent. If you like sweet potatoes, those are excellent, as were the chicken meatballs. Service is counter service for order, and then they deliver the food out to you. All are friendly. It can take a bit of time to get your food, but it's freshly prepared, so that makes sense. Definitely going into the rotation for Friday after work with the family. read more

My boyfriend and I were trying to find a place to eat and we were planning on going to another place, but there was a game that day and everywhere else was busy we walked into pitfire pizza and we sat down right away. He was super helpful with ordering, bringing us coke even when he could have just told us to go get it ourselves (I didn't realize!) and he was so nice!! 5 stars for him and the rest of the staff. Our honey bear pizza was so good and I was glad we could add red peppers to it. The kids didn't love their pizzas, and these kids love pizzas. Also, no kids menu to color on. I looked for a pizza place to grab some take out after a doctor appointment and saw that Pitfire Pizza opened at 11am. I utilized their online ordering for a pick up at 11:15am for 2 pizzas. If you're on a time crunch like I was, it may be better to keep your expectations low in regards the promise time. I arrived at 11:05 and continued to wait until 11:23 even though there was only one party of 2 that came to dine in. The saving grace was that the pizza was actually pretty good. The toppings were plentiful and pizza dough was flavorful. I wish their mushroom came with more enoki on top (literally couuld count 15 strands). This place is a hidden gem. We had my granddaughters party there today. They offer pizza making classes for kids to design their very own pizza which they then get to eat after. Ordered food for the adults which was very affordable and delicious. They were so helpful with everything. They even let us bring in Taylor Swift for our little Swiftie and her friends to have a mini concert. Highly recommend! It was all absolutely delicious. If i wasn't hungry, there would have been pictures. The cheesy knots come three to an order and are the size of a small bagel. They have all the garlic and Parmesan flavor. I recommend you always add these to your order. The pizza hits the spot with a fluffy not too thick crust and delicious combination of flavors from all the variety of meats. These folks know have to play ingredients for the perfect taste. Lastly, the pasta was delicious. You can smell and taste the garlic which I love. It uses pulled chicken breast, generous portion of mushrooms and arugula. While you are enjoying lots of cream you feel a little less guilty because the veggies are plentiful without being overwhelming. It's a great dish i would come back for. This is a great spot in downtown Orange to pick up dinner. It is a smallish dining room that can get crowded quickly. The staff is friendly and the food is pretty quickly served up. It does have a balsamic reduction sprinkled on top that I think balanced the flavor quite well. I also got the Brussels sprouts and they were salty because it had so much cheese. Finally tried this place after hearing about it from friends! You order at the front and then someone brings it out for us to where you are seated. I went with a group of 4 and shared a Honey Bear Pizza, Linguini Bolognese, Roasted Chicken & Mushroom Cauatappi. For the drink, I got The Pitfire Margarita. My favorite dish was the Honey Bear Pizza. You can definitely taste the honey, but it's not weirdly sweet. I loved the sausage because it was soft and packed with so much flavor! The chicken pasta lacked a lot of flavor. I used the sauce to dip my pizza into and it had more flavor mixed with something else. If you are a fan of tomato sauce, the Linguini Bolognese will do it for you. The margarita was a slushy form and tasted exactly like how a basic margarita should. The location was nice for pictures! I really enjoy the "fire singed" pizzas as well as the veggies cooked in the same oven. They have a lot of unique flavor combinations that are delicious. The set up is a little quirky. You order at the bar, as if the bartender wasn't busy enough. Like a lot of quick casual places, if you charge it then they ask for a tip prior to seeing how your visit went. No take backs!! As to tipping on service, there is very little service. The bartender does most everything (I hope they get most of the tip). The only other service is your food being brought to your table. It's up to you to get silverware, plates, napkins, and to-go containers. I know how it works now and that's fine. I am happy to come for the food and to keep the bartender busy serving cocktails beer and wine. read more
