Pretty crowded on a Friday night for a casual Italian eatery in Pismo Beach. That's always a good sign to me. But, I come to find out that the poor servers were running around nonstop because they were short handed. So although the wait to sit and be served was a little long, I completely understand given their circumstance. Food was delicious and big portions. The BBQ chicken pizza was loaded with the yummiest toppings. Highly recommend for the awesome savor & sweet flavors! Even the simple basket of fries we ordered as a side was crispy and tasty. Next time you find yourself in the Pismo area, grab a PIZmo bite! So close to the pier and downtown area.

Walked in to order a pizza to go. Ordered a med combo, wait was 15 ro 20 min. All good. Walked pizza back to the hotel, fail. It wasn't cooked, it was still raw in the center. See photo and no that's not cheese. Also, while waiting I noticed that the restaraunt in general needs cleaning and maintenance. At the host stand you can clearly see dirt buil-up and an iced up machine. Sloppy wires on the ceiling covered in grime. More or less stuck with this pizza as it would make the experience worse to have to walk back and wait another 20 minutes then walk back to the hotel. On the positive side, nice person who took the order. That is all. Get your stuff together Pizmo!

We have been coming here for years and never had a bad pizza until today. We definitely have to find a new pizza restaurant. The pizza was super thin and hard. Won't be coming back.

Favorite pizza spot in Pismo. There's usually alot of people but it was a Monday ( Presidents' Day). Service was quick and attentive. Good ambiance of music playing. The pizza was crunchy 5/5. The wings are my favorite!

Food is always spot on! So glad we found this place. We have visited 3 times in a week. Yes, it was that good. Especially after a day of fishing off the pier. The service is always exceptionally great, the staff is very welcoming and with a smile on their faces. The place is a great place to have dinner with your family, catch a game on many of the screens they have playing.

Been walking by this place every time we are in Pismo and finally gave it a try. We order fried wings with buffalo sauce on the side. The wings were great! Nice crunch factor and moist inside. Buffalo sauce was homemade not too hot, just to my liking. The pizza I loved just as much. We got a combo and right amount of meat and veggies. The crust is made daily, with a nice crispy crunch and not doughy and saucy. Shout out to Kelli our server. Love her service, personality and humor. Oh and I even had a cider which was good. I'm not a drinker at all.

Love eating here every time we visit the beach! Service is quick and everything on the menu is extremely delicious! Ambiance is family friendly.

The best pizza in the Five Cities in our opinion! The crust is handmade and chewy but not tough. They use plenty of cheese. The sauce is flavorful but not so spicy you have heartburn for hours. There is a steady stream of local customers coming in. They also serve a number of pasta dishes. They only have house wine and it's OK. It's usually only one server but things seem to come out quickly and they check back in on you.

We ordered the Italian Panini and the Meat Pizza. For appetizer we had Calamari. Calamari was ok since it doesn't specify on the menu that it is served breaded. Ambience has a nice atmosphere with low flat screens in each corner of the restaurant. Service was nice and attentive. Pretty good over all.

I've never wanted to eat Italian food while at the beach. I've always wanted to eat seafood. But this day we tried it out and it was amazing!! The wings were perfect! The pizza (pepperoni and chicken pesto) were delicious. The tortellini pasta with creamy marinara was to die for and the bruschetta appetizer was soooo good!! We will definitely be back. We came to PizMo's to check out their much-yelped-about gluten-free pizza. With windows open on a beautiful October evening, we were beckoned by upbeat music and the delicious aroma. We were seated quickly by a waitress who was easily managing a full house without breaking a sweat. We ordered a Caesar salad (sans croutons) and a Combo pizza on gf crust (similar to a supreme). Despite how busy the dining room was, our service was prompt and our food arrived quickly. The pizza was piled high with crumbly sausage, quality mozzarella, and ample pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, and bell peppers. In fact, the toppings were SO ample that the gf crust couldn't quite sustain it all - you celiac eaters will know what I'm talking about. I ended up using the knife and fork on the pizza, loading up on the crushed red pepper and dried Parmesan on the table. Despite eating quickly, the crust began to get that classic gf sogginess toward the center of the pizza a couple slices in. If this is a big deal to you, if you're ordering a topping-heavy pizza on the gf crust, ask that it be cooked a few extra minutes to avoid the sog. All the open windows meant plenty of fresh ocean air and a great vantage point from which to people-watch. Unfortunately, it also meant we were swatting away a lot of tiny moths, which were flying up into the pendulum light above our table and landing, half-dead, on us or on the plates below. I counted at least eight of these tiny little bastards as I was trying to grab them and pick them off the table before they wiggled into the food. I'm sure the people behind us thought I was losing my mind (and I was, a little). I had lost my appetite by this point, but we did take the last couple pieces back in a box. PizMo's - maybe think about some window screens or a bug zapper?? Next time, I'll try to grab a seat away from an open window. Thanks for looking out for us gf peeps! read more

In town for a small get away with friends, decided to head into town and go for some pizza . Needed a place that can seat all 10 of us. Found PizMo Cafe. I wouldn't call it a cafe, it's a pizza parlor/sports bar-but family friendly- that has like 19 different beers on tap. Happening place since it's in the heart of Pismo Beach. Ordered 3 Large Pizzas, add a salad for me, couple of pitchers of 805 beer. Dustin, our waiter, was on point. Ordered a artichoke hearts, black olives and chicken on one pizza. Pepperoni and cheese on the other, then half pineapple Canadian bacon half cheese. The crust on the pizza! Crust is a must for me, if the place doesn't have good crust, I'm done. Delicious! Light on the sauce lots of melted cheese - oh my! When we come back- we'll be back! It's a busy place but all the places on Main Street are busy. Worth the wait. read more

Has an excellent vibe! Total beach hang out with super greasy pies, and excellent choices. If your looking for a stuffy 5 star vibe, not your place. Very poor service. Very salty food! Took over 30 minutes just to get water. My wife got her food when I was done with my meal and even my meal was super salty. First time coming here and last time. It's always so sad when it's your first time at a certain restaurant and you have a horrible experience. Never coming back again. read more

This restaurant had a nice little vibe to it. It's more of a family friendly pizza and beer joint. Although there are many other options if you are not in the mood for pizza. We opted for the chicken pesto panini and a couple of beers. We were satisfied with our meal. read more

I ordered a sweet wine and was brought 3 different "wines" to taste, to my surprise it was beer and it was delicious. We came back the next day and Kelly helped us out. My family and I went here for dinner, we were not impressed. The place was DIRTY, the ceilings and fans were caked with dust. The batbrooms were dirty too. The food was mediocre. Our pizza was decent, it was really nothing special. The cheese felt soggy and the sauce had no flavor. The worst dish was definitly the clam linguini. I had never had such a PITIFUL pasta dish before. It was so bland I felt bad for my brother, who ordered it. The only positive was the great service. The waitresses were very polite and filled our drinks asap. I give this restaurant a 2.5/5. read more

Came here last night. Was looking for a place open on Christmas Eve and this was one of the few places still open. How that was so meant to be! I felt like it was a gift to have had dinner here. The pizza we ordered...The Tuscany...was amazing!!! One of the best pizzas I've had in the area. We also ordered the Garlic Parmesan Wings along with a pitcher of draft beer. Everything was so tasty including their ranch dressing! I would have been so happy with just the food experience. However, to top it all off, the menu prices were really reasonable, especially for the location...and the staff, especially our waitress, was so pleasant and cheerful, despite having to work a busy night on Christmas Eve. This place truly made my Holiday evening! So glad we ended up here and will definitely be back. It's our new go to place in Pismo. read more

Yay for yummy gluten free pizza! Their other pizzas are delicious also. Our server was super sweet, helped us modify some things to get exactly what we wanted and checked up on us frequently. Our whole family got exactly what they wanted and we will be back for sure! Also, props to the person who thought of having fans blow the yummy pizza smell outside because that's what brought us in here. We had our minds set on something else and when we smelled their pizza we all changed our minds! Brilliant! read more

We came here while on a little road trip and found this place on YELP. We were welcomed by Stacie and she is fun warm and inviting. She took such great care of us. The pizza is super good but her service really stood out to us. When you feel like the waitress could be a friend you know you're in the right spot. What!?! With a catchy name like Piz Mo I wasn't expecting much except pizza. They had variety of food items that was surprisingly delicious...most importantly things on tap. We are a party of 11 (8 adults, 3 kids). They were able to accommodate use with about a 20 mins wait time on a busy Saturday night. We ordered a basket of cheese sticks, large cheese and pepperoni pizza, medium pizza Bianca, cheese tortellini, sea food Alfredo, Roma pannini, a.cup of clam chowder, 2 kids chicken tenders and fries and 2 things on tap (October fest and ace Perry). Cheese sticks was the only down side but it was fun because it was like a game to see who gets a hallow one. Sadly the hubby got 2 and the rest of us scored! My sea food Alfredo was fresh, delicious and not mushy. The 2 large side of cheese bread that came wity dish was even better. My daughter's cheese tortellini was worth every carb bite. She only shared two pieces . My husband's Bianca pizza was delicious as well just not my style because ricotta thens to overwhelm me. My son surprisingly order a vegetarian sandwich call Roma pannini and it was good. I had a bite and also worth the carbs. Our tap drinks was good for an end to long beach day. Clam Liguini won't disappoint!!! Huge portion with clams in the shell. Plus 2 breadsticks. Probably the best I ever had. My wife ordered the antipasto salad and enjoyed it. Place smells awesome. Makes you want to order pizza....everyone looked happy with their pizza. Beer was ice cold and had a wide selection. Had the Lizards Mouth IPA. Great beer!! Was the best well rounded meal I have had in years. Coming back tomorrow for the pizza. read more

Stopped for lunch on our drive down the coast. They have done a great job of making a comfortable outside eating space. My husband loved the spaghetti with meat sauce - so much meat, and my lasagna was the best, yes I mean the best, I have ever had. Nice waitress! Good service. Good chianti. We want to take another trip just to go eat there!! read more

Ordered a large Italian and pepperoni pizza. I rate the pepperoni at a 9.5 out of 10 and the Italian a 7 out of 10. The cheese on the Italian is mozzarella and has a different flavor. Service was friendly and fast considering that it was a busy Saturday night. read more

We went on vacation, the pizza was extremely fresh and tasty we had the meat lovers and the BBQ chicken - both are highly recommend. The kids dishes are large enough for two kids. Our sever was so kind and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to grab dinner. dress is casual. Enjoy! read more

The best ever pasta, garlic bread, wings and pizza. We stayed in Pismo beach for 4th of July weekend and found this awesome place. We ate here two days in a row, finally on our last day, we left for home, but turned back one last time for a good 30 minutes drive back to Pizmo just for the food. The clam spaghetti drenched with butter and garlic sauce... yes yes yes! If you are a fan of anything drenched in butter or garlic this is the one. It definitely hit the spot. Lots of seating in an open room. Service is quick and friendly. Restrooms clean. Brother had the chicken strips and fries which was also served hot and fresh. The guy in the phone was nice and the girl that greeted us when we walked in was really nice. The seasoning was bold and flavorful without being overwhelming. The corn, potatoes, and sausage were perfectly portioned, complementing the seafood instead of taking the focus away from it. The rich, buttery garlic sauce tied everything together and was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the half-shell oysters, which were the perfect medium size. They were meaty and had the rich, briny flavor I enjoy. Our server, Angel, was outstanding. Moments later a server brought out the food, everything smelled and looked delicious. He ordered fish N' chips w/upgraded garlic fries, (we love garlic fries!) some of the best garlic fries we've had, every bite was garlicky & dipped in ranch...mmmmm perfect combo. The fish was tender but crispy bites from the batter. I ordered the Pismo wrap (could be shared), I was not expecting it to be so packed with all the fillings. It was stuffed with sliced tri-tip, curly fries, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and bbq sauce. Every bite was so satisfying, flavorful and had a little bit of everything. Some saltiness from the fries to sweetness from the bbq sauce, well balanced (I did add some cholula sauce because I enjoy some spiciness). Definitely added as a stop when doing a day trip to Pismo. I did see other patrons sitting at the tables with much toastier-looking wraps, and it looked like the steak wrap came in a wheat tortilla. So is there more than one kind of tortilla? The tartar sauce was middle of the road and there was not enough of it in the wrap for my tastes - I like sauce. But I could not get more for the side, as the line was out the door by the time I discovered I could use more tartar sauce! So while it was fine, and the fish seemed fresh, I was somewhat disappointed, and did not munch this wrap with the zeal that I do the one from the other locale in town where I typically buy the killer cod wrap. The curly fries were good and well salted. Lots of people sitting outside; tables could've been cleaned better. Maybe staff should come out and wipe them down periodically.

I haven't personally tried the food yet, but everything I've seen coming out looks really good. On this most recent visit, we tried their affogatos, and they did not disappoint. We both went with vanilla, and it was exactly what you'd expect. The espresso was made fresh, and the balance between the hot espresso and cold ice cream was perfect. Seating inside is limited to a few bar stools, but if you walk just outside and around the corner, there's a breezeway seating area with comfortable chairs and a nice coastal breeze. It's a great spot to sit and relax for a bit. Overall, this is a great coffee spot in Pismo Beach. Consistently good drinks, quick service, and a convenient location. We'll definitely keep coming back.

I visited this pizza place in Pismo yesterday 04/03 and had a disappointing experience with the service. When I walked in, I let the employee know I wanted to place a to-go order. She told me to wait and that she would help me shortly, so I stepped aside. While I was waiting, several other customers came in and were helped before me. After a while, she asked if I had already ordered, and I had to remind her that she had told me to wait. When she finally took my order, her attitude felt dismissive. About 20 minutes later, when she handed me my pizza, she told me I didn't need to be aggressive, even though I had remained calm the entire time. When I tried to explain, another employee stepped in and became confrontational, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Overall, the interaction felt unprofessional and poorly handled. The lack of communication and the way the situation was addressed left a bad impression. Her name was Raya. read more

This place is AWESOME! The chef takes pride in what they cook. We unfortunately only tried this place once during our short stay in Pismo Beach but we'll definitely make return trips. The food is as good if not better than Olive Garden's but is much more reasonable price wise and the staff is very friendly. If you want a nice chillaxed place to enjoy awesome food, this is it! I had the cheese tortellini and it was excellent but it's one of those places, you can just tell you can't go wrong no matter what you order off the menu. Walked in closer to 9pm on a Tuesday night. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They have beer/cidre/wine available for alcohol and coca cola products for soft drinks. Great selection of italian food. The prices are extremely reasonable at around $10. I ordered the spaghetti meatballs and an individual pizza. The pizza was good, I wasn't jumping up and down for joy over it but it was still good. The spaghetti and meatballs I would definitely get again. Ate here during a stay at Pismo Beach. Really hungry one night, couldn't decide where to go and came across this place. I figured since it was a pizza place, the spaghetti wouldn't be great, but ok. Drove all the way from home (Atascadero) after a date night at Pismo Beach Pier we looked forward to our meal here after walking the town to find the perfect restaurant. No one acknowledged us as we stood by the door for 5 min. Didn't look like a busy night, we were finally seated and were served by an older woman named Gillian.
