Chicken bacon roasted garlic thin crust that was supposed to be on white sauce not red sauce.
    Renee B.

Updating review as was contacted by Pizza Express to make it right and I appreciate that the company would do that. Solid company and it is clean. There are a couple of places you can eat inside. Will keep them on our list of pizza places to go to when we want pizza. _________________________________________________________ So I called in and ordered for pickup. The guy was nice. I got jalapeno poppers, a gyro sandwich, and a white sauce pizza with chicken, bacon, a roasted garlic. I got there when it was supposed to be ready and it was. The lady working seemed rushed and overwhelmed. I normally look at the pizza before leaving but for some reason I didn't this time. Mistake! Got home and opened the pizza box...low and behold I got red sauce, not the white sauce I ordered. It wasn't what I wanted. I didn't feel like driving all the way back, so we ate it but it was not satisfying. On to the gyro...we have had this sandwich before and it was decent. Today was dry, not flavorful and throw together without a care. The jalapeno poppers were good. Typical frozen version, fried. But they are satisfying. Unfortunately ranch is extra if you want it. And for $10 for 8 pieces, a side of ranch with it, shouldn't break the bank. We used to go and loved it. When we wanted pizza, this was one of our go to's. But we have noticed the slow decline in quality. Overall, probably won't be back. Just wasn't overall satisfying for what we asked for.

There product never disappoints, ordered here at least 5 times in the last few months. Consistent quality. Had pizzas and salads, plan to venture to new menu items.

Great service and friendly people--I would go back here today if I had the cash. And Therein lies the problem. The pizza is fabulous, with a bready crust, ample toppings, deliciously cheesy. We got a gyro pizza and that was the standout--the gyro meat and the onions go so well with the cheese and crust. We got another, half pepper and half pepperoni--also great ingredients and tasty. But $42 for two pizzas is just too much -- add a tip and again, just a bit on the expensive side. However, I will look for specials and will tell friends that for pizza this place is great.

    Greek Salad

Tonight was our first time ordering from Pizza Express. Customer service was wonderful. I was greeted with smiles and friendly conversation. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and a large Greek salad. The salad was huge and loaded with olives, tomatoes, mushrooms and feta on a beautiful bed of fresh greens. It came with 2 small containers of balsamic vinegar and oil dressing. The pizza was absolutely delicious. From the first bite till the last. I did get a picture of the salad but forgot one of the pizza. Next time. We will definitely be going back!

    Sausage Pizza

Gyro was a little dry and you could tell that the meat was not fresh but the pizza here is the best in town

Veggie pizza and veggie pizza with vegan cheese! Fantastic!

Despite coming in late, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sausage and broccolini gemelli was well executed. My only criticism is the use of burrata on the dish. Because it was placed directly on top of the hot pasta, it essentially cooked the burrata, which kind of misses the point of serving burrata in the first place. Rather than adding richness or contrast, it muted the flavors of the sausage and broccolini and made the dish taste a bit bland. I think a stronger cheese that holds up better to heat, such as Pecorino Romano, would have complemented the pasta much better. That said, the service was excellent and the pasta itself was cooked perfectly. Overall, a very good experience and I'd happily return.

The clams and mussels appetizer was outstanding, the carpaccio was excellent, and our server, Vanessa, was pleasant throughout most of the meal. Unfortunately, the entire experience was overshadowed by what happened after we paid. There were three people at our table. My husband and I paid the larger portion of the bill and left a 20% tip on our receipt. Our friend paid the remaining portion and left a $10 (20%) cash tip in the check folder. After paying, I went to the restroom before leaving. While I was in there, our server, Vanessa, approached me and asked, "Is there a reason you didn't tip me?" I was genuinely shocked. I immediately told her that I had tipped her. Rather than pausing to consider that there may have been a mistake, she continued insisting that I had not. I explained that I had left a tip on my receipt and that my friend had tipped as well. She then suggested that perhaps it was my friend who hadn't tipped. At that point, I returned to the table frustrated and confused and immediately asked my friend if she had left the cash tip. She confirmed that she had as I knew she did. When I told her and my husband what had just happened, she became visibly nervous and started questioning whether she had somehow made a mistake. Wanting to clear things up, I approached our server again when she returned to the dining room. Rather than simply checking her records and acknowledging the possibility of an error, she continued searching through receipts and attempting to prove that we had not tipped. At one point she even retrieved a receipt from the trash while continuing to insist there was a problem. The most upsetting part was not that she initially believed there had been a mistake. Mistakes happen. The upsetting part was how confident she was in confronting us and how unwilling she seemed to consider that she might be wrong, despite both of us repeatedly telling her that we had tipped. Eventually, a manager stepped in. To his credit, he handled the situation professionally, apologized immediately, and clearly understood why the interaction was inappropriate. My issue is not with the manager. My issue is that no customer should ever be confronted in a restroom about a tip. Even if we had not tipped, the interaction would still have been inappropriate. Tips are voluntary, not mandatory. As someone who has worked in the service industry myself, I understand how disappointing it can be when a table leaves little or no tip. What I have never done is follow a customer into a restroom and ask them to justify their tipping decision. What made this especially upsetting is that we did tip, and we tipped well. The food was good, and the manager handled the situation appropriately. Unfortunately, one employee's actions completely overshadowed the evening and left a bad taste after what had otherwise been an enjoyable meal. Instead of leaving talking about the food, wine, and time spent with friends, we left feeling accused and frustrated. Because of that experience, it is very unlikely that I will return.

We have eaten grilled and fried fish tacos and the fish and chips. All the dishes are filling and satisfying. The fish tacos have a nice helping of shredded cabbage and sauce. The homemade chips with the salsa on the side are nice and crispy. There are tables outside and even though there are a lot of people, there is a lot of turnover so there's always an open table. We always get these two dishes but we'll try other dishes next time.

Seemed like you could park in the other lot on the north with the human bean coffee shop, and walk across the cute connecting bridge that brings you to this lot in front of TJ. Anyway, it was nice and cozy inside, with counter to grab seafood or order some food. Inside had maybe 4 or so tables, while outside had many more. First went outside after ordering, but it was quite windy chilly so went back inside:) Had checked out the menu ahead of time, so ordering was easy. Tall young man was super friendly. Even brought out the food to the table when ready. - Fish n Chips = was so crispy and fresh, absolutely delicious and kid ate it up. plenty of fries too that we all could share - Fish tacos = got one grilled, one fried. Of course fried tastes better, but grilled was great as well. Covered in cabbage and special sauce. The sauce was excellent and addictive, easily defeated all the cabbage. And the fresh fish pieces in these were huge/thick, just awesome. The salsa that came on the side I guess is for the tortilla chips, since the taco had that special sauce on it, so no need salsa on it to detract from the special sauce. The tortilla chips seemed to be fresh cut and fried in house, was so crunchy good, especially when get a chip with a bit of salt on it. - Salmon salad = this was fantastic as well. Generous salmon pieces and the balsamic glaze was perfect with salmon and salad. I guess 2 of the salmon pieces were the skin, which was the best part! Such a delicous way to get your omega 3!!! With so many places to try, sadly only got to eat here once, but it was up there as a memorable meal, A+! And allows for you to walk off your fullness at TJ afterward, just perfect.

We visit Italy twice yearly and I can say with certainty you will NOT find more authentic italian meats and cheeses than you will at Alle-Pia. Their Prosciutto, direct from the source in Parma, Italy, is by far the best and tastiest you can buy on the central coast and their Copa, which they make themselves locally, is absolutely delicious. As far as cheeses go, their truffle pecorino is literally to die for. And anyone who tries Nduja for the first time will get hooked on it. I first experienced this Calabrian delicacy in Tuscany on pizza and was super stoked to see that Alle-Pia makes their own as it's extremely hard to find outside of Italy. Eric, who works there, is super nice and helpful and will always give you sample slices of whatever you're ordering. He also makes fantastic handmade crostini himself. And when Tess is working their (the daughter of the owner), I enjoy getting to speak some Italian with her. All in all I can't recommend this place highly enough to buy your authentic Italian products. Between Alle-Pia and Etto, we're pretty much set.

He knew the menu thoroughly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and spoke about each dish with genuine knowledge and enthusiasm. He was attentive without hovering, polished yet warm. Scarlett also assisted us and was equally kind and professional. It's rare to feel so well taken care of from start to finish. We started with the carrot dish, which was exceptional. The carrots were excellently charred and laid over a silky beetroot purée, topped with burrata and fresh herbs and almonds that fit the dish in such a classic, balanced way. It was refined, thoughtful, and beautifully presented. We shared the Toadhead pizza, a delicious thin crust charred in all the right places. It featured mushrooms, a bright lemon garlic sauce, and thinly sliced red chilies that added just the right lift. Every bite felt intentional and balanced. We enjoyed our pizza and carrots with a glass of their lovely rosé and sat out on the little front patio, which was perfect for this almost-spring evening. This is not your ordinary pizza place. It's a step above, in both food and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and will absolutely return.
