Tried it last week for the first time. I have to honestly say that this was the worse pizza I ever had. In fact, I would much rather eat country fair pizza over this place. Great new pizza shop on Reservoir Ave serving up New York, Detroit, and Sicilian Style pizzas. I noticed that they also have sandwiches, wings, and other appetizers on their menu. The inside is small with a few window seats. I ordered online for pickup. The staff enthusiastically greeted me upon walking in. Pizza Mamma offers slices but they are very limited and are first come first serve, so you're better off ordering ahead. I ordered two NY style pizzas, their hot honey and Mac & cheese and both were delicious. I will definitely be back and exploring more of their menu. read more

Absolutely banging. Sauce, cheese, and dough/crust are all great. People are friendly, almost too friendly as you they ring a bell when you open the door and have 4 people welcoming you. Loud inside, as they have the music cranking. But it's worth it. They just opened and they will be a regular stop of mine. read more

We figured we would try a new place and ordered a 16" with 5 toppings. we were told 35 to 40 minutes for delivery. I gave my card and after, I said they never told me the price. It was over $40. It arrived over an hour later, cold and with only 4 of the toppings. When I called to let them know that we were missing a topping, I was told that they didn't even put it in. And then he hung up on me. The toppings, cheese, and sauce were sparse. There were no seasonings. it was underdone. They also did not cut through the crusts on the pizza, which was surprising because it was so thin - though the gumminess of the underdone crust made it difficult to chew. if I needed to describe our experience in one word, it would be disappointing. read more

I am from Jersey and it's very hard to find good pizza in Rhode Island, until I came to Pizza Mama!!!!! This pizza is incredible and tastes just like NJ/NY pizza. The crust was so crispy and that really took it to the next level. It was worth the 20min drive and we will certainly be returning. Can't beat $3.50 for a plain slice!!!! The staff was amazing & very friendly. They had lots of slices already made that you could choose from. I ordered the garlic knots (they're not really knots). They are garlic rolls. The dough is really good, but they need a lot more seasoning & oil. I ordered the deep dish. It was delicious a little bit sweet for my liking but the crust was fabulous. We ordered a few slices of just pepperoni & sausage. My friends enjoyed that. I ordered a garden salad which was way too soggy. I couldn't eat it. I threw it away, but overall we really enjoyed the experience. I will go back. I just won't get the salad (go next door to the big cheese bc they have the best garden salad in town.) read more

When you enter you are surrounded by fresh pizza smell. The by slice options vary and I was drawn in by the types of pizza offered. New York- Sicilian - and Detroit style pizzas. I was going to order Detroit style slices but they were out. So I did the next best thing - I ordered a whole one. The Detroit Style - Motor Citi Roni!! It was ok- I expected more of a crispy pizza especially around the edges and the honey made it almost too sweet - like a dessert and a lack of sauce. While I waited I had a cheese Sicilian. It was thick but fluffy - kind of missed the oily crunch but overall good. The ambiance inside is small which makes the flow a little weird, however they just opened and they will figure it out. The owner runs the register and he is really friendly- nice to see an owner working hard to make the new business run smoothly. Overall it is a quick bite to eat if you are in a rush but honestly it was a little underwhelming. read more

Really poor service and online ordering experience. I just tried to order a half and half pizza on line, couldn't see how it could be done. So, I called, she said she knew it could be done, but did not know how. She said she would take my order on line. I had a coupon for 10% off, that did not say it was for online only, but she wouldn't take it. When I said I would like to cancel my order, she just said ok. No effort to talk to another employee and get assistance, no effort to figure it out, no effort to offer me another option. There is not excuse for service like this. read more

Heard decent things about this place, so I thought I'd give it a chance this past week. Started off w/a basic cheese, "NY Style" - forget about it...not even in the same stratosphere as even a basic NY pie. I used to love this place. My partner and I collectively would get a 4-8 salads here a week. But for some reason orders started randomly having blue cheese on them which I hate. We let it slide once, the second time I called in and they offered to put a credit on my account for the price of the salad which was fine, annoying but fine. I went in today to use my credit and I was told there was no credit on my account, nothing I could do about it. The lady was nice about it but still terrible customer service experience overall. Mess up my order, offer to give me a credit for it, and then, not actually do that. Extra frustrating given that I drive 15-20 minutes out of my way for this place just because I liked the food and the people but it just isn't worth the risk for me now to return. Having to throw away multiple meals uneaten and then not having that taken care of has me looking for somewhere else with great salads now. read more

This pizza was awesome! I stopped in after a long day of sports with my kids, and there was a large or extra large pepperoni that just came out of the oven. That particular pie was supposed to be sold as slices, but I wanted the whole thing. The girls told the cooks to fire up another one and they let us buy it!!!!! They put unwanted ingredients on my pizza I ended up getting very sick from it and I called to tell them they messed up the manager working Saturday nights treated me very badly and didn't care what so ever. A few of us went in a little after 12:00 pm for lunch. There were a ton of pizza choices to choose from along with 4 different Detroit choices. I chose the pepperoni Detroit for myself. $85 for 3 pizzas. Sicilian pizza should be thick, focaccia-like pan pizza with a crispy olive-oil bottom, airy interior. This was tough and like eating a pizza on a old dry crouton. Detroit-style pizza crust is thick, airy, and chewy inside with a crispy, caramelized cheese edge. This crust almost tasted like dry cornbread. Something is off here. The dough's not being prepared and proofed properly. For $85 the pizza should be insane. This was not. Maybe the owner needs to spend less time in front of the Real Housewives cameras and make sure her staff is producing quality pizza or charge $5 per pizza because this is Little Caesar's tier.
