BEST PIZZA in town PERIOD! The margarita is delicious, very light and fresh with the best ingredients. The fresh basil taste is to die for. This one reminds me to a margarita pizza I had in Italy years ago and have been craving since. I am so happy to have found something so similar close to home. I happened to stumble into a great little pizza joint! I was early for an MRI appointment and starving! Can't even tell you how stoked I was when I saw that there was a pizza by the slice joint in the same strip mall! Slices are a bit smaller than some other by the slice places but at $2.50 it's not a bad gig! Most larger slices are 3-4$ so this seemed fair. .70 toppings was better than the usual 0.90-1.00 also. My new favorite place for garlic knots!! It's hard to find a good garlic knot! a lot of times they're not soft or they're overbaked on the bottom or they don't have enough garlic or the marinara is no good... None of these are an issue with pizza points garlic knots! Also, I really love their calzone! the cheese Is excellent so creamy and delicious. The calamari was pretty good but maybe the fryer oil needed to be changed. The pizza is pretty good as well. I will definitely be back to try more take out or delivery options. If I could I would give zero stars, I would. I am a loyal customer and have always been happy with the service and food. Tonight was awful! I ordered a salad, large cheese pizza, and cheese sticks to go. When I got home I opened my salad to bad mushrooms, unattractive tomatoes and a ton of white onion. I called them and was offered to return the salad and they would make a new one, I was in for the night so asked for a different option and he said "I can't refund you the salad until I see it" and I said I would come back tomorrow to get a new salad but he told me that wouldn't work because the salad would be old by then. I explained I am a loyal customer and that if he couldn't make that accommodation I wouldn't return and he said fine. That is horrible for a business owner to act that way. The pizza is great with very thin, crispy crust and generous toppings. They also have specialty pizzas that are pretty interesting too with a combination of unique flavors. The pasta dishes are the same as you would get at an Olive Garden. Good traditional dishes. The prices are reasonable, competitive with other pizza places. The service is also good. Super fast. It was hot and y'all.... it had the cheese pull. Love when that happens. The flavors were on point. We ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza. We have also ordered their pesto cheesy bread & garlic knots. The pizza is more than enough in terms of filling, but those are both amazing also! If you have room for dessert, get the zeppolis. I was a first time visitor tonight. I ordered an alfredo pizza, with sausage, spinach and extra $4.00 extra shrimp as my toppings and a salad. While waiting for my food, I noticed the guy who was making the pizzas kneel down and sneezed. He was wearing a mask around his chin but not over his mouth and nose. He stood up, turned around and looked directly at me. He did not leave the area to wash his hands nor did he pull up his mask. AND what made matters worse, he was not wearing gloves. I prayed my pizza would not come out of the oven but unfortunately it did. I try my best to support restaurants during a pandemic but this was irresponsible and I am really considering contacting whoever is responsible for the overseeing of Restaurants. I am sad, afraid and will wonder if virus droplets landed on my food, the pizza carton and the salad bag. I did not say anything and I will forever regret it and will be praying the next 14 days that I remain symptom free. Amazing pizza! We got the chicken tikka masala, curry paneer, and chicken paneer pizzas. Each pizza was so flavorful and well made, we came back 2 days later for more! I am blown away at the kindness and humility that I was just shown. I have been driving about two hours, and had another three hours to go, but I can really needed to use the restroom so I searched for somewhere that would be safe for a woman traveling alone to go to the restroom. Unfortunately, culvers was closed since 11 PM, so I was desperately looking around for somewhere to use the restroom. Pizza pointless clothes that has been closed for the last 45 minutes when I walked in. The owners were hanging out with Steve, who is manning the kitchen. Survival mode kicked in and I sped back to the restroom. Barely just getting out that I really needed to use the restroom. I felt terrible because it seemed like I was being rude when in fact, it was just on a mission! After doing what I needed to do I came back out and apologized. Never would I have imagined what happened next the owners were very, very kind and I was able to stop and chitchat for a few minutes, even though they were closed. I was offered pizza that they had been enjoying after closing time while we chatted about my travels up to Beaufort. We shared a few genuine laughs and I felt very comfortable. They did not have to show such kindness and hungry to someone they have never met and probably would never see again. I am baffled but hopeful that if these type of down to earth people still exist then there is hope for the rest of humanity. I am beyond grateful for the food. These are amazing true down to earth people. Please don't just pass this place up. Not only was the pizza absolutely DELICIOUS, but the atmosphere and the genuine caring kindness to a random stranger is something to experience. I'm definitely going to go out of my way again to visit this hidden gem of a pizza spot next time I have to go up to out of state for work. We shared a very generous Greek salad served with a slice of feta. All ingredients were fresh! And the pizza - well, being a new Jacksonville resident, we need to look no further.
