Bittersweet for me to leave this negative review, but I have no choice. I started using this place a couple of years ago and really enjoyed their pizza. About six months ago I placed an order from this restaurant for delivery... And it ended up at the wrong address. They were very apologetic and delivered a replacement pizza within the hour. This evening I ordered a pizza from them and again it went to the wrong address. This time they made excuses because they had a new delivery person, etc. In the 20 years I've been living at my current address I have ordered dozens and dozens of pizzas and on just two occasions have they been delivered to the wrong address... I'll be honest, I really want to give these guys another shot. I'd heard great things, mostly about how amazing their NY style pizza is. The guy who took my order was very friendly. I got two slices of ricotta and olives (my current favorite toppings), and hoped for the best. But what I got instead was a couple of reheated pieces of pizza that more than anything came across as dry. The toppings were quite plentiful (the ricotta did help to resuscitate the pizza a little), and the slices themselves were a good size. All in all I was left feeling underwhelmed. There are a ton of great pizza places in the area though, and as much as I love to support local joints, it's going to be hard for me to choose going back here over one of them next time. read more

So glad we have this new pizza place right down the street. We checked them out for dinner one night and we were very pleased. The staff is very friendly and the place is kept very clean. We ordered a medium pizza with onion, olive and pepperoni cooked well done to go and wings. We asked for the wing sauce on the side since we e ordered them to go and did no tr want them to become soggy. I was very impressed by the quality of the toppings on the pizza and there was just the right amount of sauce and cheese so the crust was nice and crispy even when we got home. I would dine out here as well as there is draft beer on tap. We enjoyed a beer on tap while we waited for our pizza. They deliver too and there is no delivery fee! One word: YUM!!! I got this delivered last night since they offer free delivery (which is a blessing wow) and got the meatball sub and fries. They did not hold back on the meat balls and the fries were yummy! My roommate got the italian and he was impressed as well. The food was warm and got there 10 minutes before it was estimated to get there!! HOWEVER, be aware that there is a $12 minimum, despite the $0 minimum is says on yelp!!! We've been on the hunt for great local pizza here in Jax, and have had several questionable delivery experiences from a few spots. Pizza Point has been by far the best-- it arrived via Slice delivery piping hot, exactly as we ordered it. The crust was very memorable, and the extra cheese was decadent. They had a good selection of pies but our delivery was over 20 minutes past our estimated delivery time, and the pizza was just okay. We ordered a L pep and a small BLT. As soon as you walk in you get transported to a NY city pizza shop. The smell is as authentic as there pizzas. Love the Indian curry twist to the pizzas as well. Highly recommend the place. Great place for families with kids as well. Must try their tikka pizzas, palak paneer and tiramisu read more

Scheduled an appointment just so I could go to Pizza point. We were looking forward to the wonderful NY style crust with the fluffy soft outer edges and a good amount of sauce and the soft zeppole with the wonderful berry sauce. Got home to find a super hard thin crust pizza with hardly any sauce, and tough zeppole with a watery chocolate sauce. My husband loves thin crust, but even he said it was too hard. I am giving 3 stars because the toppings on the pizza were good. I called to ask because it was so different than it was before. Owners changed. The man that answered the phone was polite and apologetic. He did say to let them know when we come back in, but I apologized and let him know there was no reason to go back. We had the spaghetti, mine with meat sauce and his with added sausage and meatballs. They added a ton. Everything was delicious. Very good sauce and tender meat. My fiancé grew up in Brooklyn with authentic Italian food cooking in his neighborhood, and he said this is what spaghetti should taste like. We got extra garlic knots to go home with our leftovers!
