We were seated immediately in a large booth (good for plus size too). The food was decent I wouldn't say the best but it was good. The price was very reasonable we got the family meal which was a large one topping pizza, garlic or pesto chips, and a large salad. (Garlic chips are really like a thin small garlic cheese pizza but they are really good) Parking is right in front or on the street or if you are okay with a little walk it's down the street. What a great find during our trip to Folsom. The taste of the pizzas, cheesy rolls and other items was fantastic. There were plenty of toppings on the pizza that made the flavors really pop. Omg this place is soooooo good! A hidden gem. The Caesar salad was very cold, filled with croutons, and the dressing had a great flavor. I had the "pops" pizza. So much flavor in the sauce. The crust was a medium thickness and not soggy at all. It had a slight crunch which is always nice. The place was empty which is normally a sign of how good the restaurant is. Well not this time. We got the Chicago stuffed and it was phenomenal. With a family of 4, none of that pizza survived. What a happy accident walking in here. We will always come back for me. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally went in for lunch. The pizza was really good and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. I've come here more than a few times, but after trying their stuffed pizza I'll be back more often. Eddie and Hannah were both very attentive and the atmosphere is homey and inviting. I hadn't been to Pizzeria Classico in many years. I had my first trip there accompanied by my Mom over 20 years ago. She had been introduced to it through a friend and raved about the amazing garlic chips. Her raving was absolutely warranted. After that visit, I was hooked and went many more times. As time passed, my pizza stops became few and far between, as the location isn't close to me. This weekend, I was in the area with my best friend and wanted to relive the past with a trip down memory lane. Stopping at Pizzeria Classico was the highlight of my day. Our server, Hannah, was amazing! Attentive, helpful, funny, friendly, and checking on our table at all the right times. Hannah was a shining example of what all servers should strive to be. It's rare nowadays to get someone who truly gives outstanding customer service and Hannah exceeded all expectations. The garlic chips were just how I remembered. Delicious, with the perfect amount of crispness and a decent amount ranch for dipping. The pizza, was, also, cooked perfectly, flavorful, and had generous toppings. The booths were very comfortable and the random 80's rock music playing in the background gave the vibe of a true classic pizza parlor. We've cut back our outside dining lately but we happened on this gem. From the outside it looks closed but we were met by a nice maitre'd in a black tee shirt. He led up to a nice corner booth. Within a few minutes our waitress Hanna greeted us and took our order. We had a pizzette, which was their mini pizza which was more than enough for both of us. The cheeses were mozzarella and a mild cheddar, the salami and sausage was of great quality. I had a side salad and we both had soda waters. Would I come here again? You bet ya I would. I first found out about Pizzeria Classico at a children's birthday party where the hosts thoughtfully served some of their delicious pizza. What a delight! We went back yesterday to try more of their offerings. I got a basic cheese pizza that was so simple but good, love their crust! My husband was into his calzone and the salad I ordered was delicious, with a super fresh dressing and toppings. I would give them a zero but it wasn't an option. Showed up at 9:15 on a Saturday after driving for 15 min looking for a spot to park. Walked in and was denied service. I am a family with 6 kids and we spend a lot of money when we go out. We asked for manager and the young man said he was and that they decided to close early cause they were short staffed. The weekend street fair in Folsom blocks the pizza place parking, so park below. We love the garlic chips! The macadamia nuts on the ham and pineapple pizza recently changed. They are no longer chopped nuts, but resemble nuts put thru a coffee grinder. They kind of taste like mush. Sadly we have stopped ordering it, but still enjoy the other pizza choices. read more

The lunch special that comes with a 2 topping personal pizza and salad is a good amount of food for 1. The pizza was tasty and the salad was fresh made as well for just $17. Also enjoyed the garlic chips. Small order was just under $16 but the flavor is really good. Plenty of garlic and cheese on the garlic chips which is similar to garlic bread but it's made with flat bread. The service was really good. They messed up the toppings on the pizza but fixed it and made us an extra pizza to go on the house. We will be looking forward to coming back and trying some other varieties of pizzas. Pre-COVID this was one of our favorite places to eat in Folsom. We discovered other restaurants during the pandemic and hadn't been back in years. Our favorite item, the roasted garlic chicken sandwich is no longer on the menu. After talking to our server, he checked with the cook who offered to make it for us. If you love garlic, this sandwich is the bomb: focaccia bread with alfredo sauce, cheese, red onions, roasted garlic and a chicken breast. The server said they took it off the menu because not enough people ordered it. It's one of those dishes where everyone in your party orders a garlic item or you can knock them out with your breath. We also split the spring mix salad, which we find delicious. I usually order a beer but stuck with iced tea this time. The service was good even with only two people working all the tables. I would give them an extra half a star if I could. The only drawbacks are that they pulled our favorite item off the menu and that Old Folsom parking is an adventure. read more

It wasn't our first choice, as when we visited Folsom, we were disappointed to find out the places we wanted to go were all closed on Mondays. So we ended up here. No regrets!! While I do understand some reviews with staffing issues (was slow service), they were busting their behinds, and we had three employees come by to check on us who were all very kind! So, anyway, my parents split a salad with apples, blue cheese, nuts, vinaigrette, etc (don't remember the name). It was enough for all 4 of us to dig in and eat! First time EVER that I didn't have to ask for extra dressing on the side. Perfectly dressed! Sooooo good! I reluctantly ordered an Italian soda, as many from other places have not been just okay, and OMG!! It was so creamy and tasty. Delicious!! My family all tried a sip, and then went for more, so I had to put my foot down and take it away...lol. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, my parents ordered spaghetti with meatballs to share (which the restaurant kindly split into two bowls), and my daughter got a child's pizza. The fettuccine was A-MAZING!! Fresh, made in-house, and came piping hot (as did all of our food). Not too rich...not too bland. Not full of garlic, which I can't eat. Just the basic ingredients it should have. And delicious!! Came with FOUR pieces of bread! And my daughter's pizza from the child's menu?? Oh my gosh...it was HUGE!! It looked like a medium pizza from a typical pizza place, and not those tiny flat, gross pizzas that are on many kid's menus. She couldn't even eat half of it. Tried some of the meatballs my parents had (and I don't really like meat), and WOW!! Again...sooooo good! I literally can't say a single negative thing about any of the food, and I tried it all! They do get busy, so plan ahead and go early. Yes, service was slow, but we weren't in any rush, and the kindness of the staff made it well worth it. I did feel bad for them, as they were really working hard. But whatever...we loved the food, the staff, and the corner booth that was different and round, with high backs, so it was totally private. One waiter at this restaurant has a serious attitude problem. During December, our youth sports team decided to have a holiday dinner here. About four kids and four adults were seated at a table looking at the menu, a fifth adult in our party went to order a beverage. Unbeknownst to what transpired with the adult ordering a drink, an irate waiter comes up to our table and yells at both the kids and adults to "get out, leave, we aren't welcome in the restaurant". One little girl immediately stared to cry. We left right away. It was such a shocking experience to see a grown man think that was an appropriate way to handle a situation. We have dined at this establishment prior and have had this waiter before. There is definitely something off with him. Be better Pizzaria Classico, handle situations with respect and class, and never, ever yell at children that were well behaved and not privy to whatever else was going on. read more
