I went in about 2 weeks ago. I felt jerks in my car all the time for months and took it to a few places that pretty much made me feel like I was crazy. I came here because I am new to the area and my friend recommended it to me. It was an amazing experience! They figured out what was wrong, gave me a reasonable price, plus they gave me the price BEFORE doing anything! My car has been running great since then. I just had new tires installed at Costco, and needed an alignment right away. I called Placentia Super Service first thing in the morning last week, and they said they could do it right away and it would take about an hour. They were correct on both points. I mentally prepared to sit for a few hours, or get an Uber ride home, and wait for the job to get done. Instead, I sat in the lobby and watched my alignment get started right away. The mechanic worked on it until it was complete. No multi-tasking for this mechanic; he stayed with my vehicle until the alignment was complete. There is a huge picture window in the waiting room where I was able to observe the service the entire time. The snacks and beverages were plentiful in there so maybe I'll come hungry for my next service with this great operation. From my single experience at this business, I highly recommend their customer service. I was also given a copy of the alignment details. I've been here a couple of times now to service my car and they do such a great job! They are so friendly, Jasper gave my daughter a balloon and let her go inside the shop to take a look at our car being worked on. They even send you a text message with their 60 point inspection, with pictures and videos, letting you know everything they checked and exactly how your car is doing and what needs to be repaired. Their lobby has plenty of snacks and drinks for you to enjoy while you wait for your car, you can watch tv and even charge your phone and enjoy their free WiFi. Brought my car, 05 Saturn Vue Redline, here back in July for AC repair. They provided me with a full diagnostic printout of my car and presented the issues that you normally can't see with your eyes (IE: inside the engine), which gave me an actual game plan for my car. Came back in today for an oil change & told Don there was yet another light on which was causing me concern. He quickly diagnosed the issue & gave me a few options. This man has been a godsend! Overall they are fair and competitive with prices & when I walked in the door back in July, they didn't see $$ when I came in (which is unfortunately typical when a woman walks into an auto repair location). Don took the time to educate me on what I didn't know, provided options and answer every single question that I had. He even talked to my stepdad who called in to make sure all of his questions were answered as well. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, but especially those who are slightly undereducated about their car & want to know answers & not feel like a $ or a burden when they walk in. If I could give them more stars I would! I have had issues with my jeep since 2014 and after a lot of $$$ to Jeep dealership and even it being sent to their Diesel specialist paying on what was not the issue, I continued to have problems. My jeep finally needed some more work and sent it to Placentia Super Service. Bob asked me exactly what was happening and knew what may be the issue. They where able to fix this problem that Jeep dealership could not in a couple of days. Never had any issues with those problems. Amazing place. My jeep is now back in the shop, but with other issues but I would not take it anywhere else, but to Placentia Super Service. I will be recommending them to everyone!!!!! read more

This place screwed me over hard. I went to my usual mechanic earlier today to have him fix everything these people told me was wrong with my car and that if they werent fixed immediately i would basically crash my car, and he said that literally half the stuff they told me to get fixed didn't need to be replaced at all anytime soon. I got my brakes done not even three months before coming and they said they needed to be replaced already and i don't even drive a lot. I would not recommend this place at all, my mechanic even said he's had a ton of other customers come to him because this place screwed them over as well. I went in for an alignment, and they put my wheels on CROOKED causing the internal thread of both my front two wheels to wear almost completely within the two months it's been since i came here. Don't come here unless you want to end up paying triple the amount for terrible work that you'll need to get redone within a couple months anyways. Just save yourself the time and money and don't come here. read more

First, THANK YOU!!! I brought my Ford Fiesta in because my Bluetooth and speakers did not work. The workers assessed the situation, and found the problem, QUICKLY!! The Ford dealership could not accurately identify the problem after a few visits. My Audio Control Module needed to be replaced. They gave me a reasonably fair estimate, and(when all was said and done), was the least expensive. They replaced my ACM in a fraction of the time that was estimated. The mechanic had some difficulty syncing the Bluetooth after the ACM was replaced. HE DID NOT GIVE UP!! He continued to work on the issue, while keeping me updated. The mechanic treated my vehicle like it was his own.....respectfully!! He did not work on the issue half heartedly. My Ford Fiesta is singing her heart away, and my hands free is now fully functional!! Driving to Placentia Super Service was definitely worth the trip...FROM BARSTOW!! :D Placentia Super Service, you have become my lil' Fiesta's new mechanic!! I recently had an oil change done and Toyota service they let me know my Prius had a leak in the timing cover, 1800 repair job. I knew I had a warranty on my vehicle from CarMax so I called them and they were slammed for the holiday but they work with partner auto shops. Placentia Super Service was on the list. I talked to Don and he assured me my warranty would cover the repair. Everything was done so swiftly and smoothly dropped off my car and received text message alerts on my vehicle progress. They also found my front struts needed repair and Don told me not to worry they got the ok from my warranty to also fix the issue. So 3800 hundred later my deductible cost was 50 dollars I was amazed by all this. Usually you have to fight with warranty companies because nothing in life goes this smoothly. You should ask about the diagnostic fee before you decide. Their diagnostic fee was $95. The problem that I have was fairly straight forward. I did not have time to deal with it. Since they are close to me and have 5 star review I brought my car to them to check and fix. I feel that they are overpriced for the diagnosis and the repair that were performed. But I agreed with the repair cost, so, it was my fault for not asking about the diagnostic fee first. read more
