I went here one night on a Saturday during the evening hours. I guess I just have extremely high standards. In LA we had a place that had light up arrows on the lanes, and trippy lights, oh and not to mention Round 1. So yeah, I guess something in me that may have at one time enjoyed childish cosmic bowling has set the bar higher, becuase it wasn't that great. The ball selection was HORRIBLE, so if you actually do bowl (like I used to) then you will have to cram your fingers in the holes of one, because they don't offer correct or logical sizing. Everything is like "10 pound small" ... bah!! But the third star is for the karaoke in their bar. It's small and nonsmoking, I love it. I dislike the smokey places around town. :/ read more

I've been coming to Plano Super Bowl since I was in High School. It's a great place to bowl! Decent music selection and good variety of food. Drinks are reasonably priced and also have a variety to choose from. On Sundays, they have a "Sunday Funday" special: $3 games, $3 shoes, and $3 PBRSs available after 6pm. Great deal! This place is open 24/7. If you're looking for a CHEAP and fun place to bowl, I recommend checking this bowling alley out. I don't recommend bowling per hour with the consistent lane issues. Your ball gets stuck, the pin count isn't always accurate, etc. When you have to spend time calling the front desk, it takes time away from actually bowling. Then, as soon as your time expires they completely shut the lane down. Another problem....they advertise $1.50 per game on Sunday morning, yet have league tournaments and tell you the first available lane is 2pm. We are forced to go to a bowling alley across town, so that's what we're doing. - once again unable to bowl on an advertised $1.50/game on Sunday morning. Today we were told to come back after 3pm. You should honor the $1.50 all day for regulars you turn away on Sunday mornings. read more

Horrible experience, very rude staff, do NOT come here! We registered for the kids bowl free program, which supposedly give each kids 2 free games per day. However, once we came here, we found ourselves facing very unfriendly staff who did not want to honor it. From the moment we walked into the door, not one staff member has smiled the entire time. The atmosphere were very unfriendly, unfortunately. And this is what we experienced: first of all, the staff told us at least one adult had to bowl with the kids, which they denied to be true later. Then, we are two families both with the kids bowl free coupons, and we asked for two lanes. They did not want to give them to us even though by their own rule we were entitled to. They gave us lots of bullsh*t reasons then finally opened two lanes. later, after one game, instead of giving us the 2nd free game as the program states, they wanted to charge us for the 2nd game and said we had to pay because the adult had used the free game. Mind you, they earlier told us that the adult HAD to play with the kids. Worst of it all, all of these were explained to us with such bad attitudes. Other than the bad attitude, the facility itself is poorly maintained too: the balls got stuck couple of times. And for the kids lane, we asked for the Guard rails, the staff sat around for a long time and wouldn't help us. they were not helping other customers either, just chatting among themselves and did nothing. They were very rude and unhelpful, including the manager, Mark. We would never come here again. All they care to do is to grab your money and ruin your fun. p.s. They also charged for tap water. This place is a good place to go to play different arcade games, bowling, or shooting pool. They do serve alcohol here and decent combo meals to eat. Recently took family there for an outing and was pretty much as I remembered/what was expected. Clean, fun, old-school environment. Couple of things to note: 1) Ask if the lane you are getting assigned is going to be next to a large group, then ask the age range of that group. We were a family of 4 ranging from 30-48 and placed next to 7 reserved lanes of over-stimulated pre-teens. The were nice enough but appeared that they hadn't been out of the house in the last 12 months. Buck WILD! If they are going to accommodate those types of groups, there should be a required number of chaperones.....such as 1 chaperone per 10 kids......instead they had 2 for about 75. 2) The bathrooms are clean but smelled like someone had a major bowel explosion. I just held my breath when I went. 3) Be aware that the tables assigned to lanes are stacked vertically to the lane. So if you are on lanes 13/14 (which shares the return) table 14 is in front and 13 in the back. So you have to walk past table 14 to get to your lane. Not a biggie but it's a bad set-up. Just make sure you ask for an even number lane and you'll be fine. All the tables in the front (directly behind the computer station) are even numbers. read more

Moved back to the area late last year. Quickly signed up for the winter league at PSB. I get a kick out of people who "are new" themselves or maybe had been in the league a few weeks/months asking how I like it, even though this is now my 8th year bowling at PSB. ;) Nothing has changed here, except for some of the bldg, which recently caught on fire. I used to bowl here as a kid, and you can definitely tell this is one of the older bowling alleys. I liked that it wasn't too packed for a Sunday afternoon, and we were able to get 2 lanes together. This place could use a little remodeling or a good clean. I love bowling even though I'm not as good. They have food here and plenty of tables. read more

It's not the cleanest nor is it the most fancy, but it's a bowling alley... and it's open super late, costs almost nothing, and has a bar. The best bowling alley in DFW in my opinion. I'm an avid bowler, and I've been a regular here for the past 5 years. The leagues have a ton of participation, and if you're hardcore it's one of the few alleys that has a PBA experience league. The house shot is known to be pretty easy, but it still attracts some of Dallas's best on Thursday nights. The lanes are well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly. It's open 24 hrs., and after midnight it's $2/game or $10/hr. This usually attracts the college crowd (which many times is not bad at all ;) The food isn't great (would you expect it to be?), and the pro shop is hella expensive, but the bar is cheap. Make it on a Monday, and you'll pay next to nothing for a great time! Bowling shoe rentals are 4.75, so if you have your own shoes, definitely bring them. I really only come on Mondays after 9 PM. It's ten for a lane per hour or two per game per person. I usually play for a couple hours and end up paying 10 for the whole night! Expect to wait a little bit, because this place is super popular. Luckily, they have an arcade, a mini cafe, and a bar, so you'll keep busy for sure. 24 hours open is always a plus too! If you can't sleep, why not bowl?! read more

This place is open 24 hours a day. So one can bowl all day and night long. There are plenty of lanes here as well. It's a large facility. One can tell the bowling alley has years of memories and maybe even several generations. It is the icons that have survived the tides of time. It's one of those bowling alleys that has that old school character and charm. Just bowling and greasy reheated or fried food. This place was pretty decent. The prices are nice, we originally were going to main event but the wait time for bowling was ridiculous. My husband looked this place up and it seemed ok. We showed up and there was no wait for bowing. We ordered some food, we had pizza, brisket nachos and some wings. The food was really good! We are definitely going to start coming here. read more

Plano Super Bowl is nothing special. My fiancé bowls on a league here every week and the people always seem nice. This area of Plano is sometimes a little shady, you'll see homeless people hanging around the building or wandering the parking lot. Wish the concessions would add ICE CREAM! My family and I went to Plano Super Bowl last night around 11:30pm. The bar area was empty so we sat on the couch area and soon realized there was no wait staff. We went to the bar to order, where we encountered the rudest female bartender I've ever dealt with. I then went to see about ordering food and the sign at the counter said "order food at the bar" so I went back to the bar to order and the rude bartender said, "the kitchen is closed" so I asked, "why does the sign say order at the bar?" To which she replied rudely "the kitchen is closed". We left at that point because we clearly were not going to be treated with any type of customer service by her. We would've ended up spending a couple of hundred dollars on food and drinks but apparently that's not what they are trying to do there. They also were playing the most somber old music ever! Why would you play that type of music at a place that is supposed to be fun and entertaining?? We went to Austin Avenue down the street instead and had a great time. We'll never go back to Plano Super Bowl as long as that is how they treat their customers! read more

Best bowling alley every. Amf(garland/richardson), jb allen bowl, or pinstack got nothing on Plano Super bowl. League bowlers have an awesome chance to do different oil patterns here. We had a lot of fun!!! It is very clean and super cheap if you're looking for something to do with the family and don't want to spend too much money. They have midnight bowling wiith black lights and serve alcohol!! Nothing like cheap drunk bowling to fill a day!! Staff was pretty nice and the bartender was cool. I've been coming here for 5 months now and the kitchen is disgusting it never gets cleaned like it should be. Some staff wear pajamas. For what I can see they are too lazy to hire new people to fill the holes. They are so understaff but don't care. They over work the kitchen. And do they me started on your server/ manager Starr she is one of your worst decisions ever. You can never find her at the bar where she's supposed to be. I thought this place was better because I was bowling better. They tell us that they have a higher quality snack bar but do not carry "normal" bowling alley foods, like mozzarella sticks or fried mushrooms. Their fries always taste old or they're not hot when you receive them and NO FREE REFILLS. They're food isn't really kid friendly. When they have a tournament, they are always out of liquor for the Sunday leagues. They had at least 14 lanes not being used but they put high school "league" next to a league who is trying to finish their leagues and then their coach (or whoever) came over if we were done with the scores so he could get the kids set up to bowl. Talk about hurrying us out. They're about the extra dollar not customer service. They do not have enough waitresses for 48 lanes. People have long waits for drinks and foods. 1 waitress. It was my first and last time going. All the staff are HORRIBLY RUDE. The heavy set bartender gave me and my 3 others friends attitude for no reason and was trying to rush us. The balding guy that worked the front desk was not doing a good job at answering the questions we had and processed to huff and puff every time we asked a simple question about how the prices worked. He would also try and make smart remarks in a rude way everytime I spoke. It took a lot for me to hold myself back because I do not tolerate disrespect in any way. The busser also was extremely rude and made disrespectful remarks towards us. Overall, I felt very uncomfortable being there because the staff just kept on staring us down while we were simply just trying to have a good time and bowl and the disrespect from the staff was very unnecessary.
