Regular size with 3 proteins (salmon, scallops, shrimp) on half-half base of rice + greens) topped w/choice of toppings.

This Poke Morro is located on the ground floor of the SLO Public Market. Poke Morro offers nice varieties of chicken- or salmon- teriyaki, musubi, or custom-assembled poke bowls. The bowls come in three sizes. Brown rice, white rice, salad greens, or a combination thereof, is selected as a base. One then chooses which protein(s) from varieties such as octopus, salmon, scallops, shrimp, tuna or even grilled Spam meat (musubi bowl available), a large variety of thin-cut veggies, mashed avocado, kimchi (2 kinds), along with a few diced fruits like mango or pineapple to dress one's poke bowls. A plethora of topping sauces are available to compliment poke bowls. Both times I've tried this location, all has been very good - the staff friendly and the selections fresh. The cost is a bit pricey but the quality can be tasted.

I love Poke and I remembered there was a new poke place in the public market. I gave it a go. I did not enjoy the interactions with the employees. They seemed unhappy to be there and unhappy to serve you. Like I was bothering them for wanting to give their food a try. When my boyfriend was standing looking around one of the ladies asked "do you want anything?". Kind of rude don't you think? That's not how you greet someone who is potentially interested in your business. Not a single "can I help you" "do you have any questions". Just a "do you want anything" Everything was covered up so I didn't know what all they had - until was in front of the window and started to order. I didn't know how to start the order so I went with the proteins I wanted - like the other poke places I've gone to. She then said what mix-ins. I told her what I wanted. Then the proteins. Then she walked away to the other side where they had more items. You would think they would guide you instead of just walking away assuming you just know what to do. $16 or 18 for a small, I can't remember. You don't get much of anything. I would have rather drove to the other side of town to go to Poke Chef or PokeRito. You get more for what you pay for. The food was good but not worth what I paid for it. The ingredients looked fresh tho. I usually give places a second chance, but I'm not giving Poke Morro a second chance. I'll drive to the other side of town for Poke. You should probably work on your customer service skills because y'all lack it! I am not a peoplely person either but I will fake it 'till I make it. They clearly just did not care.

Stopped by this cute food hall as I was driving down to LA. You'll order your bowl around a small poke bar with the server. I got a small poke bowl which was a bit pricey. However, I appreciate that they offer a variety of toppings.

$18 for a super small bowl but I guess that's just slo pricing for you. The thing that really sucked was that the salmon tasted like it went bad. Super fishy

The chicken tasted like it was sitting for few days. Don't waste your time or money.

Little bit of a wait before we could place our order, but I was pleased that they make your sandwich as they take your order so there wasn't a long wait after that. My son and I shared a club sandwich, but instead of the triple-decker bread we asked to have it made on the Dutch crunch bread and they were perfectly agreeable to do that. It was great. It was a really great sandwich and I am not always impressed by sandwiches. They also gave us each a free chocolate chip cookie that was quite good and the environment was refreshingly cool inside and also very clean. I definitely recommend this place. By the way, you can order online using their app and for the most recent menu and prices I recommend using the link to their website which is found on their yelp page.

If you create an account on their mobile app, they reward you with a free sammie with a $5 purchase. We ordered for pick-up and was quoted 5:20 for our pick-up time. There were a lot of people there so it did take a little longer but no worries, there were quite a few tables available for us to wait at. I ordered the Goomba in a whole and sammie! I opted for the option of toasting the sandwich and honestly, there was no need for that. I got it on a a Dutch crunch bread and the toasting honestly made it harder to chew since it was hardened and dry. Doesn't even matter because the amount of meat and toppings on it made up for the bread. I love that the meat to bread ratio is like 2:1!
