I visited here on Saturday, September 5th at about 1:30PM with a party of six. First off, although I am currently rating this location at three stars, the food was excellent and I would likely try this place again. I notice, according to Yelp. that this place is new. Maybe they don't realize what they are putting customers through at this time. So, I'm here to shed some light on the situation. When we arrived there were about six parties in front of us, forming a line outside of the store. They have several signs hanging outside the store, encouraging you to order online. (limited people allowed in the store at any given time). Therefore, we placed the order online. However, they only fulfill a limited number of online orders for every so many customers in the regular line. Therefore, our order didn't start getting prepared until 35 minutes after placing it online. IT was ready 45 minutes after we placed the order. If we would have just stayed in line, we would have had our food in less than 10 minutes. Key piece of advice: Don't listen to the recommendations of the restaurant and order online, if you are already present. In fact, we asked the staff and they told us that they only work on online orders, once all in-person customers have been served??!! I had the crabby chicken bowl which was delicious, and if I return, I would try that again. read more

They are covid prepared and only allow 3 customers in at a time, require face masks, and provide hand sanitizer. I went in on Friday for dinner and 3 people were in line ahead of me. It took about 30 min to get in and order. (Looked like managers were training young kids on what the ingredients were and how much to put in each bowl. This is the reason for minus 1 star: training staff on a Friday night during rush?) I got in and the staff was nice. There are so many ingredients to choose from so it looked a little confusing at first. You get 6 toppings with each bowl or you can choose from their special bowls. $13 for a 2-protein bowl and $15 for 3, which is standard. Basic tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, tofu, shrimp here (no octopus, scallops, etc.) If you don't like raw fish it looked like there were non - fish options as well. Overall the fish and ingredients were good so I would go back. Hopefully they get all their trainings done by then. read more

Amazing! The fish and other ingredients are so fresh. I opted for the custom bowl since I'm picky that way but they have many options where you chose from the menu. Loved the variety of ingredients and toppings. The portion is generous. Oh and the juice! I am not at all a juice person so when I selected the cucumber cooler because you got a free one with the purchase of a bowl during grand opening, I was expecting to taste it and just think it was okay. But no, it was delicious and fresh and light without being too sweet or too tart. I had the cucumber cooler and will definitely be getting it again on my next visit. Very good and satisfying. They put a lot of everything. My bowl could have been perfectly divided and 2 and have more for dinner but oh well...after a long morning of volunteer work who can resist. Not an area i frequent often but surely I will stop by when in the area as I found everything very fresh. Bowl gets dropped off, no safety seal on the bag. I ordered a large bowl, all shrimp, it literally only had 7 pieces of shrimp. $20 for 7 pieces of shrimp.. that I have to pick out and peel myself? Really bad customer service. The kid that was making bowls could've given a crap. He was rude and short and I was the only one in there. Then he ruined the bowl by putting so much sauce on it was inedible and I ended up throwing it away. Really expensive to be providing not good food and crap services. He asked me if I wanted a punch card and then he said oh sorry can't you already paid. It made me think that the quality of the food was probably as mediocre as the service. This is my boyfriend and I's favorite poke place in the area they have fresh poke and what we love most is their portions and prices. But today we both went in and asked for a regular bowl and honestly the girl really skimped out on my bowl. With what she gave me I should've been charged for a snack bowl. She gave me barely any rice and honestly I was disappointed. I didn't notice how much she skimped out on me until I seen my boyfriends bowl and even he said they didn't give him as much as they always do. Walked in at a 230 on a Sunday, and they were out of almost everything, proteins and toppings included. Previous to this experience they have been extremely inconsistent while going in or ordering online any day of the week. I honestly feel bad for the guy who was working there, as there was absolutely nothing he could do for us. Poke n' Squeeze has been consistently good both times I've tried a bowl. The employees are friendly and very accomodating to those new to poke. The small store is COVID safe (few customer allowed in the store at a time) and requires face masks. The menu is a bit much-- offering salad combinations, rice combinations and many MANY ingredients to choose from. I'll always opt for the salmon bowl! $13 for a 2-protein bowl and $15 for 3. They have fresh fish and carry the standard proteins like tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, tofu, shrimp here (no octopus, scallops, etc.) Large portions! I can't finish a whole bowl by myself. The bowl was huge though I could barely finish it lol but the fish and all the toppings tasted so fresh. The rice was perfect, not mushy. I tried the sweet unagi, spicy aioli, and got the miso sesame dressing on the side. All were so great!! Especially loved the miso sesame. Wow! First, I mean, opening a business during COVID? I commend the owners for all their hard work and for opening such a beautiful space! Such a welcome addition to the community. The owners are really nice and you can tell they put their heart into it. The veggies taste fresher than other poke places. I made my own poke bowl and the fish was super fresh, with good textures and flavors. I recommend the spicy aioli and garlic soy with the spicy salmon. I can't believe they make all their own dressings! The FREE scoop of crab was also really yummy. It's way better than other poke/sushi places. It was such a good value because it was packed densely. They've only been open a little over a week, but everything went smoothly. I felt safe ordering and they're talking all the precautions. It's a really clean space. Decent poke bowl. However, the place charges $2 "convenience fee" when order online for pick-up. Didn't realize the charge until after I paid for the order. WTH.
