I consider myself an avid poke eater. Although I've never been to Hawaii to try authentic poke, I can only imagine that their current volcano situation will cut into their poke market share. That being said, I randomly stopped by Poke Poki because I was feeling queasy from my precious meal of a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. Don't get it twisted, I like to eat. Currently 210 lbs and regularly hitting the gym. Poke Poki was the perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and salty. All qualities that I look for in my women and my poke. They even gave me free Chai Tea which was 10/10. Honestly I will never go to this place again because I'm simply driving through - but I hope that I can pass the torch of knowledge to the next raw fish eating hungry person. read more

Great Mom & Pop place. Friendly, clean and most importantly Fresh Fish! We have had some bad experiences in a neighboring city and were looking for some Poke Redemption. This place was the answer. The selection of toppings and sauces and the ratio of rice to fish were good. Could have been slightly more generous with the protein portions but overall a great poke bowl! Best Poke in town! Definite must try. The fish and veggies are always so fresh. I'm also impressed by their different sauce flavors especially their 'Poke Bomb' which adds the perfect amount of spice to your bowl. The employees obviously do not want to be working here - you can genuinely hear the sadness and feel the homesickness hiding behind their attitudes. Yikes. I've also been here twice (second time was forced). Food poisoning + violent diarrhea both times. The water was the best part of the meal. Met a girl friend here last week for lunch. We were craving something healthier and thought poke would be a great choice. We both felt like this place is a little dirty inside and the prices were a little higher than other poke places. The raw fish had a fishy smell...fresh fish should not smell fishy. Maybe it was a bad day to come in since there have been such great reviews but we both didn't even finish our food. We ended up going next door and grabbing some sushi from Shogun. read more

The poke is better than average. After that.... this place sucks! Every time I come here the prices are higher and higher. They say for the quality but it hasn't got any better. Gift cards, the least you can get is $25. That barely covers two bowls. If you have extra money go here, otherwise every other poke spot is cheaper and just as good. read more

Gave it a try today and was disappointed. Portions of fish are SMALL. Smaller than poke co. Fish didn't taste great. And very pricey. $10.95 for a regular bowl and such small portions of fish compared to other places. $13.95 for a regular. The one good thing though is they don't charge extra for avocado and the owner was really nice. Probably will stick to other poke places that I like. read more

They have been closed for a week for remodeling and I must say.....it's made me sad! I eat here every single day and never get tired of it. I did try another poke place that is actually closer to me and it was disappointing. The portions were tiny, the fish wasn't fresh, there weren't as many toppings and the sauce was just gross. I am so happy Poki Poke will be re-opened tomorrow. Their fish is fresh and delicious, lots of toppings, good size servings, and their sauce is just YUMMY! I always find the employees to be very nice and friendly (there is one guy there that wears a black hat and glasses that never even says "hello" and he seems absolutely miserable to be there) but all of the others are nice enough. So, I am interested to see what new changes this place will have. I just hope the poke bowl stays the same. They should have a rewards card for their frequent customers. This place is super convenient and fresh! However their servings are A LOT of rice and a little fish. They also don't offer gluten free soy sauce like most poke places, but bring your own if you're in need! Overall I still like it and go there quite frequently. read more

I honestly never had poke until I came here. Oh my. Since what I knew about poke you could put on the head of a pin and still have plenty of room left over, I needed help big time. The staff walked me through the process making sure I didn't blow out my brains with too much spicy. It was right on the button and absolutely delicious... so I returned in two days for more. We stopped by Poke Poki on our way back from the mountains. We ordered the large bowl with 3 scoops of Salmon and 2 scoops of yellowtail with mild house sauce and a whole lot of toppings. They were very generous with their portion (my bowl was basically about to overflow!). The fish were fresh and the sauce was just right. I often had to had some soy sauce to my poke at other places but the House sauce here was perfect. AVOCADO is also included-- free. I refuse to pay extra for my scoop of delicious creamy goodness!!! Service was on point. We got our free miso soup with the large bowl purchase. The girl cashier was very nice and provide great service. She came around to greet the customers and asked if we need anything else...this is usually not the case for a fast food restaurant so that was nice. We had a good experience overall and will be back when we are in the area again. read more

First time at a poke place and I loved it!! I went with by sister so she showed me how to order!! This place is simple but good!! I got the regular bowl which comes with 3 scoops of fish. I got salmon tuna and albacore with half rice half salad. Added cilantro, green onion, edamame and cucumber. The mixed it all up in the spicy sauce. I chose the least spicy and it was really good. I loved the spicy mayo. I only gave it 2 stars because of the staff. The girl that made my bowl scratched her arms with her gloves on, 4 times!!!! She put the ingredients in with the scoop, so there was no contact with my food. Had she used the scratchy gloves on my food, I would've make a scene. Not a big fish fan but I like sushi and poke. This place offers a veggie bowl, no raw fish, but you still get a the crab and other toppings. That's perfect for my kids. Toppings and sauces are all good, one of the few places that offers sliced jalapeños and they are HOT! Not a big drink menu but they do offer infused ice water for free. This is our third time trying this place and it hasn't disappoint us. We have had a great experience coming here with the servers. The only thing it would be nice is if they were to have some music in there that makes it more lively. First of all, VERY small portions compared to other poke spots around. As far as the food, the fish wasn't completely thawed out... the center seemed frozen. The albacore seemed rather suspect. Lastly, the chairs were not very comfortable to sit in, and the decore seemed cheap and thrown together. Oh and the house sauce had 0 flavor. read more
