I've been to many poki spots . I was referred this place by a friend who lives in the area . They did not have very many protein options ... toppings either for that matter. I don't think the fish was fresh , it was actually warm when I took a bite into my tuna . Which made me worried about getting sick . Yet I still ate it . Andddd I'm still alive soo I guess three stars for that lol Service : could definitely be worked on as I was not greeted upon walking in . Based off the stars I wanted to try Poke Poki. I ordered a 3 item combo. The variety of selection is small. The main reason for the one star is the LACK OF FLAVOR. I love poke because of the burst of flavors from all of the different ingredients and is was so very disappointed to have the opposite. The wasabi was not the slightest hot, it was closer to soy bean paste. $17 for flavorless poke confirmed never returning to this place. read more

I learned about this place through my bf. He works near the area so I got lunch with him a few weeks ago. The poke bowls here are pretty comparable to other ones I've been to. You start with a bowl of rice, add fish, toppings, and sauce. The poke place has all the toppings that I've seen at other poke restaurants, including seaweed salad, edamame, seaweed flakes, etc... So far my favorite poke place. Avocado is NOT extra charge and they don't cram the ingredients into a small bowl. Portions are quite generous. During the lunch hour on a Wednesday, customer flow was steady and they seemed to be going through the fresh fish quickly, which is a good sign. Nothing worse than raw fish sitting for a long time. Cucumber and lemon water is at the utensil area. The theme is Hawaiian, if course, and they play Hawaiian music. So atmospheric. Bathroom is very clean with two hooks to hang your bags! I am very rarely compelled to write a review, but this place does it right every single time. They always pack the bowls full and the food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. They offer a super wide variety of toppings--best part--they don't charge extra for things like avocado or brown rice! Also a wide variety of super good sauces. I enjoy the creamy sesame paired with the spicy poke bomb. Last thing--the young man who works there is always super friendly and offers great service. I ate my bowl before I could take a picture. I don't understand the amount of negative reviews. My fiancé, my stepson and I come here all the time. Chipotle-style poke shops are a dime a dozen these days, and I think this is the best one in the area. Here's why: -Clean and spacious. Well-kept dining room -TONS of easy parking! -Good prices and topping selection. They also include avocado as a topping choice and don't charge extra for it..... yes! This is super rare. -Generous fish portions, and fish is cut into large pieces. Also very fresh. -Several different sauce options -2 sizes of bowls.... regular and large. The only difference is large comes with more fish (5 servings) and regular comes with 3, but the bowls are the same size and the rest of the food portion is the same. -You can get krab salad, seaweed salad, nori, masago, onion, cucumber, dried garlic flakes, sesame seeds, eel sauce, and others I'm forgetting, as regular toppings. And avocado. Can you tell I love avocado? -Super friendly, personable service -They sell these bomb macaron ice cream sandwiches. Highly recommended! I ordered the poke bowl with salad, tuna, salmon and spicy tuna with all the toppings to go. There was hardly any salad in there, and what was in there was drenched with sauce. I showed my wife a piece of salad picked out the bowl that was literally dripping off sauce/dressing. I had to add a bunch of my own salad to make it the right consistency of salad/dressing. I told myself next time, I'd request the sauce and dressing on the side. However, I don't think there will be a next time. The ingredients did not taste fresh, not much flavor....within 3 hours my stomach was aching and then the explosive runs came....fun stuff. read more

This is my favorite poke place! I've become a regular here, the staff is super friendly and the poke always tastes great! The boba is also nice quality imo! So I think it's been almost a year since I've last been to this poke spot. The last time I went, it was good but also a place that I wouldn't really care to go back. BUT, I went yesterday before my nail appointment and OMG! It was delicious! The lady behind the counter was so sweet and patient with me. I got the medium bowl with 3 scoops of tuna with salad base. The salad was crispy and the fish was fresh. The sauces were so good too. I love how cold it all was. I was even able to buy a cute flower mask that my mom loved! I will definitely be back! They are currently open for take out. I really appreciate how the store is set up in a way that makes you feel like they are doing everything they can to ensure everyone's safety during covid 19. They have signs posted that you need to wear a mask in the store at all times. You are greeted by a table with sanitizer when you enter. They have noticeable social distancing stickers place 6ft apart on the floor indicating where to line up. They have masks, hand sanitizers, travel size wipes, etc. for sale as well. I feel like they give you a good amount of food. My personal favorite sauce is the poki bomb sauce which is a combination of their house sauce, sesame sauce, and garlic sauce. You have the option of making your poki bomb sauce mild, spicy, or fire. If you pay with a card, you need to sign their copy of the receipt. They have two jars near the register--one for sanitized pens and one for used pens. They provide a set of utensils in the bag with your food but allow you to get more utensils at a table near the register if needed. On your way out, you will see a napkin dispenser set up on a table with a sign that asks you to use a napkin to open the door on your way out. There is a trashcan placed right outside of the door for you to dispose of the napkins used to open the door. This is my favorite poke place in the area. This is my favorite poke spot!!! My brother put me on to this place and raves about how good it was. He's not a sushi or fresh dish type of person, so that was saying a lot. Thai regular bowl is the perfect size for us, the rice can get filling which is why we enjoy that size. I can't imagine how big the large bowl is!!
