I used to go here all the time but they raised the prices and now it's just too much. I don't think I will go back until the prices are lowered. And sometimes they try to rush you so much that it's almost stressful trying to decide from their many options. But the food is delicious. I'm a huge fan of poke however if you are going to raise the prices by several dollars you should increase your portion sizes maybe from your 1 ounce to a 2 ounce at least. So La Verne got a Poke establishment... so I had to check it out. Overall the food is excellent for a fast casual place. The scoops are moderate in size, their are a ton of topping options, and they don't shy on crab! I spent 13 dollars on a large and got easily a mass of food twice the density of a burrito bowl from chipotle, but twice as good. The sauces are a tad underwhelming, and the fish is a tad warmer than I like it... the fish could taste a little fresher, but still overall good. If you like raw fish you'll like it here!! I hate to rate this so low, but I was so disappointed when I came here. I'm particularly picky when it comes to poke since I'm eating raw fish and honestly, the one time I came here ruined the rest of my experience with them. The fish wasn't fresh. It smelled and tasted fishy and it was warm. There wasn't much of a selection of toppings either, which is my favorite part of a poke bowl (besides the protein). I've been to a handful of poke places, but this one just makes me worried that I could get sick :( Maybe I'll come back and try it out again, but the chances of that are slim. read more

I come to this place often & usually order the 5 scoop protein bowl when I come but this place is so inconsistent with communicating if you get a drink or not anytime you get a 5 SCOOP BOWL. For the amount of money you pay for a 5 scoop they should be clear with that. I give this place credit for having good poke. I enjoy the fact that you can get everything over a bed of lettuce. They have lots of toppings and various sauce options to choose from. Just an FYI that they are under new ownership and the portions have been drastically cut. Tuna is not even a full scoop anymore. I just ordered 5 scoops and it is what 3 scoops used to be. The quality of food is great. Everything is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Best of all, the owner tends to work some days and she's probably one of the nicest Poke shop owners I've met. Even more so in these trying time (COVID-19 quaratine as I'm writing this review), they have NOT raised their prices in the past few months even though rice and fresh fish are harder and harder to come by. I have had there poke bowls on multiple occasions and always felt the fish was super fresh. They also have gluten free options as well as gluten free soy sauce. I appreciate that they got the gluten free soy sauce because they didn't have it for a while. The employees are always kind and helpful, they also are generous with their portions. read more

WATCH YOUR SCOOPS!! I just left this place and i can't believe it. I'm a regular customer and today was the last straw. I've noticed their scoops are much less and less every time. When I questioned the older woman helping me she ignored me. I asked again and she refused to answer and kept asking what toppings I wanted. Located in a strip mall, there's plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is tucked in the back of the strip mall complex and the interior is nicely renovated with ample seating for the business lunch rush. The portions weren't as generous or cheap as other poke places; I did find that they were, however, fresh-tasting and delicious. Customer service was good too. read more
