One of our new favorites! We are self proclaimed poke connoisseurs setting the bar high with fresh poke from Kauai. Fish is fresh and love the variety of fresh toppings including my fav pineapple which adds a sweet crunch. My husband got the zucchini noodles which is a great low carb option and tastes great. The snow was great- soy and mayo, and I paired it with spicy mayo too. The interior is modern and the chairs are big and comfy. Our son got the Japanese curry with chicken and he loved it. We have eaten here precovid and really liked it! Tonight was our first time back and it was disappointing. The portions were small and there were not many toppings to choose from. It pains me to write this bad review but I don't think I've ever had poke Little alone fish this bad. I got 5 scoops of "tuna" and you would think I got some other fish because this tuna is so dry, gooey, stringy and extremely fishy. The rice is very dry and the "extra" sauce what is nonexistent. The edamame and seaweed salad is also very dry it seems to have no flavor and almost looks like to the point it was molding it was all so old. This was definitely not worth $16 I can't even eat this poke I'm really trying but it makes me sick. Also the amount of fish you get is absolutely ridiculous for the price. read more

One of my favorite places with endless selection! As a vegetarian it's so hard to find poke places that offer a variety for vegetarians and pescatarians alike, but Poki Cat does! First time here today and I was happy camper. They have their speciality bowls and also build your own option. For the build your own, you can choose a bowl or burrito. Protein selection had all the regulars (ahi, albacore, spicy tuna, and shrimp.) They also had scallops as option (no extra charge) which I thought was a nice option. Toppings choice were a good selection of all the typical veggies and the best part the toppings are unlimited! The avocado was an extra $1 charge. But since the scallops were free it's a good trade off for me. There was good option of sauces that you can mix as well. They also had a couple cook food options like rice/curry bowls. In addition they also make spam musbi to order. Definitely would be going back again. read more

I have been going here for at least a year and the food is always delicious. The employees are always pleasant and listen to what I want to order and make it. My review is more for management. It says help wanted outside so maybe they are in need of help. Today as I stood in line, I could hear other employees talking in the back of the shop while there is a line. There was only one employee making the food. I feel like customers should be a priority rather than cleaning or doing whatever is going on in the back. This gentleman that was helping in the front was doing a great job, as much as he could on his own. He should even get a raise-wish I got his name. But I feel like his co-worker's should come out from hiding when there is multiple people in line. read more

I came in here after getting my nails done right next door. I was sad to see that they had not avocados which is fine. The girl at the counter was nice and I can tell she was semi new. She was super friendly but when I was going through letting her what I wanted to get in the bowl, I noticed there was on only two small thin slices of avocado plus they were oxidizing and I told her if I can add those she said "yes." After putting it in she said it would be an additional $1..... I don't get why I'm getting charged the dollar if it wasn't a full scoop... by then it was too late to say no. So if you're coming here and they only have a little bit of the ingredients be prepared to pay full price. They are also stingy on how much they are putting in your bowl. read more

What a joke!! I've ordered from many other poke places and this is THE worst. I got 5 pieces of salmon and not even a 1/4 of a cup of spicy tuna. And that was 2 orders of tuna! Asked for easy sauce and it's swimming. Tried to call the restaurant. No answer. Will never order from here again. What a waste of money. Go with Big Fish little fish or Poke Wave instead. I liked the convenience of the place being really close to my house but I'm refusing to go back due to the constant shortage of some ingredients, the stinginess of their portions, and the lack of professionalism with the staff. They will not have ingredients prepped in a efficient manner so I'm forced to wait longer and my biggest peeve is they'll on occassion touch the food without gloves if some were to fall out and put it back in the bowl. So yeah I'd reccomend going somewhere else if you want better service and quality of food. read more

Let's start with first impressions. Cute inside. Not many tables. The line took too long. There was one person working and he just took his sweet time. Once I finally ordered they were out of white rice and it wouldn't be ready for a while so I went with sushi rice. Many of the bowl components were running low and did not look chilled. Some of the regular toppings cost extra, not just the avocado, which is expected. Once I finally sat down to enjoy my bowl, which was poorly mixed, I was taken aback at the lack of sauce. My rice was so dry. But then out of nowhere all the sauce saturated my bowl making it look more like soup. Waaaay too much sauce. If I wanted soup I would have ordered the miso. Lackluster experience to say the most. I don't think I'll be returning unless I'm truly desperate. read more

I've tried their poke bowls and burritos twice each...and every time it's spot on fresh and perfect. They have a safe and protected Plexiglass store front with caring staff wearing gloves and masks. It's never too busy and they get your order right every time. Great choices for your sauces as well as base types. Proteins taste and look fresh each time. Good variety of beverages to go. Was excited to try this place considering it's next to one of my favorite coffee shops to work at, but was kind of bummed after. The poke was nothing too special, crab meat was sort of plain, expensive for the amount given. They gave us 10% off for their soft opening however I didn't quite appreciate one of the guys attitude towards my 11 year old sister. She doesn't eat raw fish, and asked me if I was able to order her a side of white rice with crab meat on top. The guy said sure it's just 50cents for each scoop of crab.. now after he scooped a couple piles of crab onto her bowl she asked if she could have a couple pieces of cucumber and that's all. Instead of either informing us that it's going to be considered the "California bowl" or informing us it would be an up charge, he began laughing and shaking his head at her out of frustration.. and said this isn't ok next time you need to order a bowl because the ca bowl has what you want. Now, I work in customer service as well, and I understand the confusion from customers sometimes can be irritating especially if you are busy... however we were the ONLY people in there ordering at that moment so he had plenty of time to be polite about it. Also, my sister is 11, she felt embarrassed and didn't even want her food after that. I insisted he just charge me for the "California bowl" rather than giving us attitude, but he said no. For just opening you think you'd express a little more patience towards your customers to ensure a good standing, but I guess not? Reply- Cannot help but to feel as if you are indicating I had an issue paying for what I asked. That was not the case at all, matter of fact I would have paid whatever you desired, or would have paid the price for a regular "poke bowl" if that was your wish. Possibly once again a "miscommunication/misunderstanding". Another point, my family owns various businesses within the food industry, so with that in mind, whatever a customer asks for as long as their willing to pay, we'd or most any food establishment would provide even if that was just a side of rice with some veggies and crab. We get it, special requests are annoying but at the end of the day a customer is a customer and profit is profit.
