For our main dishes, my son and I decided to try the ramen, and unfortunately that part was a little disappointing. I've had ramen at other places that included more toppings like egg, wontons, and extra meat, which gave it a lot more flavor and texture. This ramen felt a little plain and lacked the richness I was expecting. Overall, the sushi and appetizers were really good, but I'd probably stick to those next time instead of the ramen. read more

I have been a repeat customer at this restaurant because it's convenient while I'm waiting for my tires to be serviced nearby. (Shout out to Tucker tire!! BEST tire shop in OC) I always order to-go and eat outside in the park. Today, when I walked in to place my usual to-go order, I had my leashed service dog with me. I was not intending to sit down, which I clearly and calmly explained multiple times. Despite this, the waitress immediately became confrontational, stated that "service dogs are not allowed", said "nobody likes dogs in the restaurant," and got in my face in a very rude and aggressive manner. I had to repeat three times that I was only ordering food to go. For clarity: Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service dogs are legally allowed in public businesses, including restaurants, regardless of whether a customer is dining in or ordering to-go. Businesses are not allowed to deny access, harass, or express personal opinions about a customer's service animal. Staff may only ask two specific questions, neither of which were asked here. This interaction was not only unprofessional and hostile, but also discriminatory and unlawful. The behavior was driven by personal bias rather than policy or law. I am deeply disappointed because I've supported this business repeatedly. Unfortunately, after being treated this way, I will not be returning. I hope ownership takes this seriously, educates their staff on ADA compliance, and ensures no one else is subjected to this kind of treatment. read more

Was craving some sushi so I looked for a place near my home. This place popped up on here less than a mile away so I figured I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did! I was very impressed with how fresh it tasted. I ordered the mango spicy tuna crunch roll. It did not disappoint! When I went in to pick up the sushi the lady who helped me was attentive and kind. My first time trying this restaurant. I had placed an online order. The descriptions of the items online are not very detailed. I got in my car and saw that they had drizzled eel sauce on both of my orders, and I distaste eel sauce very much. I felt incredibly bad for returning my food, but I knew I wouldn't be able to stomach them. The staff was very accommodating and remade my order without hesitation, but did inform me to next time notify them on the notes section of the order form. Once again, the descriptions made no mention of eel sauce, and on the "Remove Items" section of the order form, it does not have the option for me to remove eel sauce. They also informed me that they pretty much put eel sauce on all of their rolls (something I've never experienced before). The point I'm trying to make is, if you are adversed to certain things, best to specify that in the notes section when placing your order just in case. I happened to be in the area and my son got hungry so I Yelped a good sushi spot to fill his craving. We were the first customers on a Sunday afternoon. There was one server for the entire restaurant - I commended her for doing her job but I feel the restaurant could use another server for better service. The restaurant is in a fairly big plaza so I don't see an issue with parking. Women's restroom is in the left back corner and is clean. Our food was made pretty quickly. I appreciate they offer a variety of specialty rolls and combinations on the menu. I also appreciate that they have a deal on some of their rolls - buy one get one half off. The rolls were good but nothing I would crave. I do have a few pet peeves while dining and one is when I'm presented with the check before asking for it or even while we have food on our plates.
