Came here with my little ones to look at one of the cars, and the employees kept coming back saying don't do this, don't do that with a tone. I'm VERY particular with my kids and there's a set expectation that they're not to slam doors, be chaotic, etc. they were FAR from it. We go to Tesla, Porsche, Lucid here in Valley Fair and Santana Row and have never been given a tone like here. Demo cars are there for people to sit in and experience. I was shopping for a new EV and Polestar extended a $20k credit toward drivers of a certain brand to make a switch. Who could resist that offer? I had a tiny challenge locating it. Now that I know where it is then I can say it isn't tough to find. The showroom doesn't have the exuberant vibe that most EV showrooms do. Sadly, I must say that is a reflection on the car. At first I thought it was a one-off experience, but the more times I have entered this place, it reaffirms how I felt during my very first visit to the store - negative. I remember the first time I entered this store, I felt intimidated and unwelcome. The store was empty and when I walked in, the associates just stared and didn't welcome me or ask if I needed help or had any questions. Then they went back to their phones. If I were a serious buyer at the time, this lack of customer service would've turned me away. I remember the next time I walked by, the store was completely empty. Not an associate or customer in sight. This most recent visit, the guy who is in the social media videos was in the store and very stand off-ish, coming off as snobby and pretentious. No smile, no feeling welcome, just nothing. Don't be fooled by how the store is presented on social media, because that is not the service you walk into. The other store associates also aren't approachable and didn't seem to approach customers. I've never had such lack of interest from a car retail store/dealership. It comes off as if the brand doesn't want to put any effort in trying to bring in business. And this is a stark contrast to other car retail stores within valley fair. If you are looking for any amount of help or guidance from an associate, I wouldn't recommend coming into the store. But if you want to look at the cars displayed in the store without being bothered, this place is for you. read more

The dealership was ok and my purchasing experience was good. The issues are with the car and servicing at the Palo Alto Dealership. The car is very glitchy, random things stop working and many seem to fix themselves overnight. My glove box stopped opening and it is taking me 5 months to get an appointment to get it fixed. The car handles well and the sound system is awesome, which sells the car. If only the service afterwards was a good. read more

Yooooo- I never thought I would be able to get an EV. I first was able to schedule a test drive- at my own house! This was so fun and new- the test driver was great. She answered a lot of questions, shared Insight and it was great just being able to walk out my front door to test drive and even have a friend drive as well! Not sure why everyone is having such a terrible experience at this place. I just arrived home with my brand new midnight Polestar and the experience was seamless. I even got my car a little early - said it would be available in early April and her I am on March 31st with the car in my driveway. Ordered online, immediately connected over email with Lexi (sales). I had some questions so I just called - Matthew (sales) picked up immediately answered my questions and sent a following email with more info. I was doing a trade-in and got a quite that was reasonable but a little lower than I had hoped. I decided to cancel the order so I could spend some time shopping around for a better quote - Matthew was totally understanding and started processing the cancel. The next day I got an email back from Matthew saying his Manager was able to find another dealership that was willing to pay what I was hoping to get - boom!! Locked in the trade-in and within 3 days car was delivered to San Jose - I went in...the entire process took about an hour, which is a third of time I would have spent at a normal car dealership. The car and sales is nice and there is where it ends. When you need the car serviced every 7,000 miles it is absolutely impossible to get your car in for service. Called the only service center which is palo alto volvo. When you call they have hung up their phone on me, never returned any messages I have left messages and let's not talk about the text message they want you to do to get service. My dad and I popped in to the showroom at Valley Fair to learn more about the Polestar 2 from their specialists after doing an At-Home Test Drive (I made an appointment online and they brought one to my house to drive around my neighborhood... really convenient!). Mya & her peers were all so friendly and spent 2 hours with us at the showroom as we asked all sorts of questions and got more familiar with the car. I've been eager to get an EV but have been on the fence. They had a lot of really helpful things to say that helped give me more confidence in making the leap to EV. These Polestars are so well built (Volvo!), you can really tell it's a fantastic vehicle. I was far more impressed with the Polestar 2 over the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 that I had been considering. (While Tesla may have the upper hand when it comes to software features, Polestar shines in all other categories in my opinion.) If you're thinking about getting a Polestar, or just want to see what they're all about, swing by their showroom! I found it really helpful to feel the quality of the car, and experience the software / driver interface (you can also test drive there!). The team will have a lot of helpful thoughts to share, and can explore configurations and pricing with you more effectively than you can online.
