The only problem here is the "Express" part. The food is 5 stars hands down, but the waiting time in the drive thru lane is way too long. There is absolutely nothing "Express" here and it doesn't matter if there are 3 cars in front of you or 6, you will wait wait and wait and yawn. Disappointed. Manager was so rude. Went through drive thru and ordered a loma Saltado plate, drin k and fried plantains. Paid $19.01. Kinda pricey. Went home opened my bag and bananas were missing. I was looking forward to the bananas. If the food was under $10 I would have said never mind. Tried to call them to let them know they forgot my bananas. Tried 10 times at least to call..no answer. I decided to drive back there (at least 6 miles) stull trying to call. As I get to restaurant they finally answer. Manager said they were too busy to answer.explained about the missing bananas. Asked me for check number and receipt. Told her did not receive either. Then she told me they were too busy if I could gonin to get the bananas. I said no, I went through drive through because I have I bad back and that I would drive by door and she could bring it to me..she was so rude and didn't want to do it. This is my go-to to-go Peruvian joint. Although the dishes may be a little salty, the Lomo saltado and pollo saltado are extremely flavorful and cooked just right. The meats are tender and juicy and the vegetables are crisp and just as flavorful. You get the most bang for your buck - serving each dish with a cup of soup, soft roll and a green spicy diping sauce which goes great with the good, too! My boy friend and I frequent their location often but only for drive through pick up. We have never eaten inside. We have tried many things on the menu and found them to be pretty good. The only downside, which is why I gave them only 4 stars instead of 5, is the quality and taste of the food can vary greatly depending on who the cook is that night. Bad customer service,they served cold food, cashier/manager DIANA J had no type of professionalism or customer service. I took back my cold chicken to counter and she stuck her finger inside my chicken to check the temperature portraying me as a lying customer in front of other customers and her co workers. I give it 2 stars only because the food is very good here, but today I went there on my lunch break and it was a nightmare! There was no air conditioning and it was 90 degrees inside the restaurant. There weren't a ton of people, but it took them almost 30 minutes to get our food out to us - and that was after I brought it to their attention that everyone else in there was served before us - even the ones who came in after us. No apologies, no trying to make the situation better, no communication about when we would be getting our food, no compensation for their mistake. I even believe that the owners were outside the place discussing the air conditioning situation and not paying attention to what was happening inside. Owners / managers, here are some suggestions of what you could have done to make customers happier and want to come back: 1. Get fans! If your air is out on a tremendously hot day, buy fans to make it bearable to sit inside (not everyone on their lunch break has the option to get it to go). 2. Give your customers who are sitting inside (eating your food and spending money at your establishment) a free drink as a thank you for dealing with the broken air conditioner. 3. When it is clear that customers' orders have been messed up / forgotten about, train your staff to apologize to them and to keep them up to date on what they are doing to fix the situation. And, offer to comp them the meal or their next one. This is how you keep customers happy and coming back! read more

Amazing food and great prices! Well, let me not over-accentuate this for you; if you have tried Peruvian food before and you know what it should taste like, then give this place a try. If you have *not* tried Peruvian cuisine before, then please do give this place a try especially if you're nearby. Tallarin Verde is one of my favorites if you like spaghetti, or Arroz Chaufa is another good choice which is almost, but not, like chicken fried rice. There's a drive-thru for convenience, but you may have to wait while they prepare your food so don't expect fast food drive thru waiting times (since they most likely microwave or re-heat your food). What I like to do is order by phone before heading there, and then go through the drive through to simply pay and pick up. To eat inside is also fine, the place is small; but the food....well, you'll just have to go and try the food for yourself ; ) read more

I've had arroz Chaufa from millions of Peruvian restaurants. This place is by far the worst I've ever had. I've been to at least 3 of their actual restaurants and loved it but this place is literally Peruvian fast food, doesn't even sound right saying it. This is second time that I got hair on my food at Inka Express and I don't appreciated that my daughter call and they refused to give us our money back until the next day? Also they were requesting pictures of the nasty hair. I believe that if something went wrong with your food and you're not happy with it the minimum they should do is give your money back immediately to compensated the customer I'm very upset with service plus the poor management. read more

Cheap and yummy Peruvian food....that's all I can say. Food is delightful, but in a fast food setting. The restaurant was in a former KFC, so if you don't mind a fast food dining experience, then I would recommend that you get it to-go. It takes awhile for them to prepare your order, so they recommend that you phone ahead. They also have a drive-thru which also takes some time, so phone your order ahead. Service is great, and quality of food is good, and CHEAP! The place is always busy. Great place to stop by and grab dinner to bring home. I'd give it 5-stars for fast and cheap dining. read more

It's a fast-food version of El Pollo Inka, and serves the most popular items on from Pollo Inka's menu (roast chicken, pollo & lomo saltado, chaufa, etc.) as well as sandwiches. It's way cheaper than its sit-down counterpart, and portion sizes are HUGE. The vainitas de pollo (chicken sauteed with green beans) is delish, and the Inka combo is a great deal...1/4 chicken with salad, beans, rice, soup and a soda for under $6. Can't go wrong with that!!! not as good as the Torrance location :( My lomo was tough and fatty. It is always tender and lean at the Torrance location. Also, the soup tasted a bit bland. It is a good deal for the amount of food you get though. If I came back I would try something else and stay away from the lomo (which is sad because that is their speciality). read more
