We went there this past Saturday afternoon. The service there is was not that good at all. The waitress at our table was awful. When I asked her to refill my drink she didn't bring the refill. I had to remind her that she forgot my refill. Also where this restaurant is located was not a good area. Sorrow that's what has happened to Polly's Pies. Man cannot live by pies alone. yes pies are great but now too much money so I have resorted to buy at supermarkets. I used to love their meals but now it is as if they get left over frozen vegetables not fresh like they used to serve. then they put the side of vegetables in a itty bitty ceramic serving bowl with the diameter of 1 1/2 inches. It used to be crowded but no more. why should it? the owners are quite possibly older and the kids do not want to invest time, or owners fell out of love. passed away and you can tell with the poor quality. Went to Polly's for lunch today. Tried the Asian chicken salad. It was awful!. Unlike any I've ever had, and I love a good Asian Chicken Salad. This one had horseradish in the dressing! Big thick slices of red onion (not the usual green onions). Had unripe mangoes instead of mandarin oranges. Had thick round slices of carrots instead of julienne slices. Fat cucumber slices and weird chicken ( canned maybe and soaked in the dressing). No Chinese noodles of any kind. Got ranch dressing to put on top after waitress didn't offer to replace it with something else. Also very slow service and had to ask a waiter to find our waitress when she didn't check on us. So disappointed. We used to go to the Polly's on Beach and Roscrans. Sad that it closed. It had good food and good service! read more

Asked for a cheesecake to take home. Just gave the guy my card not really thinking to ask how much it cost first (my bad). Total was $22 and some change. This was probably the worst cheesecake I have ever had. The taste was ehhh but the texture it was made it gross. Polly's have never let me down before... I've never eaten inside before so this review is for take out pies only. I've taken out the strawberry pies and the branberry (banana and strawberry) pies. Branberry pies are $15.49 I believe. One time I bought 4 pies. I purchased them, had to use the restroom, and when I came back to pick them up, they were in a huge Polly Pie's tote bag. I was astonished by this kind of gesture. The awesome cashier (I tried to get her name but didn't have a name tag) she even packed napkins and forks. The service here is exceptional. And I love the homey atmosphere inside. This type of service shouldn't go unrecognized and it makes me want to keep coming back. I can't believe summer is already over, so the waiting for strawberry pies begins till next summer! Edit: so I returned after being given a gift card as an apology for the below experience. I have changed my rating because it does seem as though I did unfortunately miss out on some great food and some great service as well. Thankfully this time, Elizabeth was not present. I had a chicken fried steak and eggs, with a giant cinnamon roll and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. I also took home some pie that looked amazing and I am excited to try. Glad I was able to give this place another chance! --------------------------------------------- Well, it would be wonderful to have been able to actually taste the food. Unfortunately the manager Elizabeth drove my party away before we even got our menus. Even though we were asked to be put on a waiting list and complied with the request, by the time we were sat Elizabeth rudely told us that there was a waiting list, and when we told her that we were on the list, she immediately started asking accusatory questions about it to her employees. Tjis horrible treatment caused us to decide it wasn't worth it and we promptly left. If this is who Polly's Pies chooses to run their establishment, I don't imagine I'll be returning in the future. I've been to other Polly's Pies and I have to say Fullerton does it right. This place can hold lots of people so really not having to wait in long lines to get a table. The inside feels like a farmy feel also with the smell of fresh baked pie the whole time. I love it! I came here on Mothers Day with my parents and we all had a very good time for our breakfast. The line was very short and we got a great booth to sit in. We ordered right away I had a cup of tea while my parents both enjoyed some famous coffee. The cup of tea had a lot of different tea bags that I could choose from. They were green tea, earl grey, chamomile and chai, spicy tea. For breakfast I had California styled egg's Benedict. I like how plain and simple the name is and also what is in it ! Just pretty much a few slices of hearty avocado, turkey and tomato on top of two poached eggs. It was soo delicious. I got my hollandaise sauce on the side. I do this just because sometimes when I go to places the sauce taste really bad so I give it a test run before I put it all on :) But overall I had a really great breakfast and I need to come here more often. For so many reasons such as: 1. You feel full when you leave. 2. The prices are very cheap, even cheaper than Dennys ! 3. I love the pies they have and they taste great. 4. Fast and quick service ! Being a customer at Pollys's for over 17 years, always great customer service, especially Edgar so courteous, always welcoming, most importantly, conscientious checking up with us to make sure everything is fine. . We need more Edgar at Polly's . With that said he cares about his customers more than the actual management. Had a very bad experience and will not come back to the store spend your hard-working money and to receive disrespect from a manager. Kim she was very disrespectful walked past us several times well, not even a menu in front of us never said hello or greeted us . We actually were sitting at the counter right in front of her near the register and she couldn't even acknowledge us. It was very slow that day, so that was very frustrating to us, two associates at the counter and including the manager Kim having a great time and we're just looking at them wondering when they're going to decide to come and ask us if we need help so we can order our lunch because we only had an hour to enjoy our time. We continue to wait until we asked a gal who was leaving finishing up her shift if she could call somebody to help us this was 10 minutes into our lunchtime. And again Kim passes us right by and says nothing. This is unbelievable. We were so frustrated and I went up to the counter and I said to Kim , is there something that we did to you that you did not acknowledge us and her response was oh I am sick. I don't wanna be around everybody. I had to come to work because they wouldn't let me stay home. That's why I didn't say anything to anybody, but yet she was standing at the counter, laughing and having a great time with her coworkers.. if this was the case, wouldn't she be wearing a mask and not be handling food to her guests we don't get this. But I'm sure the health department would have a field day one. We just don't understand this. We watched her set place setting with no gloves if that was the case of her being ill. And handling food . We proceeded to go out pay for food and well met up with another manager explain the situation and our frustration. She said she was going to send her home and speak with her the next day we decided we will call and ask for our money back because of the disrespect. Why should we pay? We actually had the opportunity to see Kim again who is very apologetic at this point it was too late for us. We will contact corporate and find out what they can do. If I could leave zero stars, I would. we had a shockingly disappointing time today at Pollys for dinner. We waited about 45 minutes for our food and when it arrived to the table, it was stone cold. When we got there, the restaurant was not busy so we don't understand why it took forever to get our food. The tables were very dirty and no one cleaned them up from the time we got there to the time we left. When the manager(KIM) dropped off our food, I told her the food was cold, and she had a very nonchalant attitude about it. She said the only thing she could do was remake the food and have us wait another 45 minutes for it. I came with my sister-in-law who used to work there and she was very upset of how Pollys has gone downhill. I will definitely not be returning for dinner time at Pollys if this is the state of how the restaurant is. Polly's Pies Fullerton. An interesting experience and despite the illustrious location (namely some terrible civil infrastructure) the business itself is a 5-star experience for me. Came here on a Sunday morning for some breakfast. Put my name down with the host and within 2 minutes they had a table for me. Sat down, within 5 minutes had drinks ordered, within 2 minutes had entrees ordered, within 15 minutes had food served. I ordered the cinnamon apple pancakes along with a side of sausage and medium eggs. While the medium eggs turned out to be a little more on the easy side, this is something easy to forgive as the kitchen was running very busy for a full Sunday dining room. Serving sizes are huge here, so it makes sense for the price point that you are paying for. There is WiFi here, but I found my T-Mobile 4G LTE to be faster, which is ironic, but hey, I don't come to Polly's Pies to study. All in all, decent experience. Couple words about the rest of the business: - Restrooms are private use only which is nice if you have paruresis (yes this is actually a thing, google it) - Outside shopping center is under construction as of May 2018 and has been for several months now as far as I know) - Generally roads in Fullerton suck, at least as of 2017 and 2018 as those are the two years I've lived in Fullerton so far. The civil engineering in Fullerton just sucks. - The neighborhood for this Polly's Pies is... Odd. The first Polly's I went to was in Yorba Linda, which is a super nice part of Orange County, so maybe I'm just spoiled here. read more

I was very disappointed in how Polly's handled a situation yesterday. We are trying to support our local businesses and so we'd gotten a chocolate cream pie for Easter. We have ordered this pie many times before. When we were ready to serve it on Easter the pie was so runny you couldn't even cut into pieces. This is not how it ever was before. My husband went to return it yesterday because it wasn't edible. The person behind the counter was less than gracious and lacked customer service. Instead of apologizing and quickly offering to replace it. He focused on "if you cut it day later of course it's going to be runny." What planet Polly's does he come from??? I've never had this happen even days later. He was quite defensive and was a bad experience especially because we specifically wanted to support local which includes him and that's how we're treated. He needs customer service training and realize he finally did give us a replacement and he could have avoided all the negative feelings he engendered. Costco is the gold standard for customer service...it is only 1 mile beyond Polly's for us to drive. Why would I not go the extra mile and avoid such a bitter taste in my mouth???? Ate here often when I lived nearby and was very disappointed that the quality and service have really deteriorated. We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning recently and waited 20 minutes to be seated. Looked to me like management is running understaffed and compensating for that by making us wait for 20 minutes when there was plenty of seating available. That seemed to hold true with the server, who was slow to get to us. Too many tables for her to keep up with. 1. Ordered over-medium eggs and we were served raw eggs (seriously). Sent back and asked for O/M and then received regular over easy eggs (not over medium). 2. Hash browns were undercooked and soaked in some kind of ghastly rancid grease making the potatoes inedible. 3. Chicken Fried Steak was good and is the only reason this is not a one star review. 4. Polly's bakers apparently baked the bran muffin a month before serving it to me. Awful. 5. Pancakes were raw and gooey inside. These people need lessons from the Polly's in Norco. read more

This is the original Pollys. What can I say? Theee best pumpkin pie ever. Crust is simple and flakey. Filling is solid and baked all the way. No runny pies here.
