Price is very affordable compared to other coffee houses with similar items. Kids loved their NY egg-n-cheese on a roll and I thought the avo toast was delish. My kids knew about and enjoyed Pop's before I did and when I finally went, I definitely knew why! The best coffee, matcha lattes, avocado toast (and they offer gluten-free bread), BECs....the cookies and dannolis are out of this world! My entire family agrees that the Italian rainbow cookies are the absolute BEST there at Pop's! We either go in and dine or take out. Over the pandemic, we had delivery often. Found this spot during the pandemic and it's absolutely terrific. Very easy online ordering system, quick pick up. Everything I've had there is delicious! The egg sandwiches are incredible... Every ingredient is fresh, all of the different breads are excellent. Coffee is fresh, cheeses are great The veggie burger is not something I'd describe as a veggie burger (though I don't know what I'd call it), it's like and edamame sandwich. Pop's has become a default brunch spot for me and my family. We visit a few times during the COVID period, for special occasions as well, for Father's Day, in particular we had a really great time. Outdoor seating, clean tables and nice atmosphere. Service was really nice, hospitable and attentive, the only downside it was a busy (talks to their quality and guest traffic). Food took a bit longer, but it came out perfect and at the right temp. Kids were in love with the yogurt and granola mix. Avocado Toast was bomb!!!! Going back soon for sure. read more

We've talked about coming to this cafe for years, but it just never seemed to fit into our plans. Today, after checking into a nearby hotel, exhausted from a red eye flight from the west coast with a layover, we were so excited to find Pop's within walking distance! This eclectic, trendy, yet traditional cafe is such a gem! The staff is friendly, there are plenty of tables both in and outside, and the food is oh so delicious. As a vegan, I ordered the avocado toast (no egg or cheese), a fruit salad, and an iced coffee (and found out after that they carry oat milk!!) - all BOMB - and my boyfriend was in love with his pork belly Cubano sandwich. Pop's also has a large selection of cookies, pastries, coffee, and other sandwiches. It's worth noting that there is no public bathroom, but other than that, I have no complaints. Wow. What a great little cafe in New Rochelle! Truly a local treat. I had the kale and eggs and my boyfriend had the breakfast burrito (we went around noon). Right after we got there, there was literally a line out the door, so it was perfect timing. The cafe is small with about 8 two tops for diners who want to eat in. They have a pastry case right when you walk in with delicious looking treats. My kale and eggs was delicious! I substituted fontina cheese instead of cheddar and added bacon. The tomato jam was so good! I would eat this on toast everyday, and it was a really hearty but healthy sandwich. I will definitely be returning to get this again and try other items in the future. My boyfriend also really enjoyed his breakfast burrito and the staff was super friendly. I'd recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. But Last time here, I ate kale Cesar salad with avocado- and my husband same salad with chicken. We both had Terrible stomaches , a terrible day afterwards (you can guess what happens after a food poisoning event...) - I think We were both food poisoned from the salad, maybe not washed well... I disappointed with them even though I really liked the tiramisu here, I will really think about coming here again. - We loved Pop's. I was looking for a casual, Sunday coffee spot with an outdoor seating area. As the weather is so nice and breezy, stuffing ourselves to dark, small coffee shops is no justice. Then we came across Pop's on yelp with great reviews and small outdoor seating area. It is super nice, sun shaded , quiet couple of tables. We had two iced coffee first. After chilling a bit, we saw the vast dessert and sweets section in the shop, which I think no one can resist easily. My husband surprised me with a tiramisu which was very fluffy, fresh and tasty. It was not too sweet and we shared one two of us. It was just right. Overall, I just loved Pop's. I've been munching on a gluten free cinnamon toast pastry they have and I feel like I'm in heaven. UPDATE: My food has arrived! I generally come here for breakfast so thats all I can review but WOW! They have some seriously delectable breakfasts. I like the salmon toast with a poached egg. A VERY generous serving of smoked salmon on grainy seedy toast with a smear of plain yogurt, some beets and red onion and some pepitas on top. Luscious. They also do avocado toast and some sandwiches that blow the lid off of any breakfast sandwich I have had elsewhere. Crunchy toasty roll with w runny egg ad pork belly OMG. lol Amazing stuff. Came here for breakfast and was super excited given all the amazing reviews. Wasn't totally disappointed with the food, but just with the overall experience. First of all, the girl that I dealt with was sarcastic and rude. Not a great start, but honestly I don't let things like that bother me too much because I pretty much see that everywhere except for upscale restaurants. You order the food and pay at the counter, and then the staff bring the food out to you. Food comes out pretty quickly. In terms of food, I highly RECOMMEND the "pork belly and runny egg breakfast sandwich." Everything about it was PERFECT- from the amount of meat, to the way the eggs were made, delicious sauce and a perfectly crispy bun. The sauce was so unique and interesting (must've been a combo of salsa verde and chipotle Aioli sauce). I can say this is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Pops chicken sausage & egg breakfast sandwich: this was so-so. Not bad but honestly didn't think it was much better than a Sausage & egg sandwich from a fast-food chain. Home fries - not worth it. The scallions added a nice little twist to it but they were just huge chunks of potatoes with very little flavor. Clearly not a lot of effort went into making these. They do not have French fries. There are tons of pastries that all looked quite good. We tried the Nutella chocolate Donolli, which was obviously delicious, but all the cream sort've masked the Nutella flavor. They don't take reservations (despite what their yelp page says). It's a small cafe with about 5-6 small tables that seat 2 people each. This place is not meant for large groups of people. Noise level is quiet. Most of what I've said so far doesn't seem like it'd deserve a 3-star review, so why did I give this? They do not have a restroom for customers. I find it completely absurd that an establishment that sells COFFEE does not have a restroom for patrons, especially since people have the option of eating in. I've been to a whole lot of restaurants and cafes in my life, and this is the first time I've ever had to experience this. The last restaurant that didn't have a restroom was a tiny hole-in-the-wall place in the countryside of another country where was visiting. Good place for grabbing and going or if you're having breakfast with one other person (definitely not for large parties). The service was friendly and accommodating. The menu is brilliant and the execution is artistic- not much to look at as a location or with basic interior - except the pastry catches your eye and then counter service engages and you know you found a gem. We've had the chicken sausage sandwich, the pork belly and runny egg sandwich and today we had two pork belly cubanos. The food is honestly so fresh tasting and just so flavorful. I also tried their pumpkin spice iced latte which was really good and it had just enough pumpkin added. We also tried their iced Carmel latte which is also great. Was looking for a good breakfast spot while I was in the area and was very happy to find Pop's Espresso Bar! From the atmosphere, service, to the food and drinks everything was 5 star quality. The place is pretty small with a few inside tables and some outdoor seating as well. Not ideal for a large group but perfect to stop in and grab a quick bite. From the second you walk in you are greeted with smiles from everyone working. They are friendly and attentive willing to answer any questions you have. To drink I ordered an Iced Chai Latte with almond milk and it was delicious and not overly sweet! Since there was quite a few things I wanted to try me and my friend ended up ordering two sandwiches and each having half, which was a great idea if I do say so myself. NR Future- this was the first one I tried and I really enjoyed the flavors. The first bite I really got the goat cheese and tomato jam and was surprised how well they went together. Overall very tasty only thing I could say was that the tomato jam definitely seems into the lightly toasted bread and makes it a little bit soggy. Braised Pork Belly Sandwich- this may be one of my new favorite breakfast sandwiches ever! For starters the choice in roll was perfect, it was soft, but with a buttery crust. The pork belly itself could melt in your mouth. My friend wasn't sure about the salsa verde before ordering it but was happy with it when he tasted it. The chipotle aioli added the perfect about of heat to it. This is a wonderful little place. The classic Italian pastries available, though not my favorite treat, are done very well. Coffee and its related drinks are also quite good though a bit overpriced. (to be expected, of course) However, the sandwiches are somewhat lacking. Grease is the word here, as its flavor overpowers a lot of the kitchen's work. The grilled cheeses perhaps fare the worst, although overall the flavor is acceptable and they are quite unique and charming recipes. In addition, no restroom facility is available. So many delectable looking cookies and cakes, but you MUST try their d o n n o l i ! They make them special to order, coming in original, nutella, and strawberry flavors. I went with the original and it was SENSATIONAL. The donut is served room temperature, but it is ever so light and fresh. The cannoli cream is perfectly sweet with a great density. So many chocolate chips give the best texture and cocoa-y goodness. With all of the donnolis popping up in NYC you may overlook a place in Westchester...but you shouldn't. The tanginess of the "salsa verde" went very well with the taste of the pork belly. My only critique is the arrangement of the sandwich components.
