I picked this place out, on a layover at the Baltimore Airport, and was glad I did. I ordered the Avo Turkey sandwich (Hand-sliced turkey breast, swiss, fresh-sliced avocado, cucumbers) and the Apple Walnut Salad (All-natural grilled chicken breast, crumbled blue cheese, grapes, apples, dried cranberries and candied walnuts, served on a bed of field greens with balsamic vinaigrette). This was to share between my wife and I. We were actually impressed with both items. The sandwich was fresh and tasty on soft bread. It filled us up and we ended up taking the salad home. I have to call out some of the workers for making my experience less than thrilling. I ordered a Big Turkey on white bread. The Nigerian man behind the counter even repeated it to me. So my sandwich goes through the oven and the white woman with tattooed arms asks what I order. I say, "Big Turkey with everything except hot peppers. She begins topping my sandwich and doesnt seem like she has much urgency. Momentarily the customer at checkout says, wait a minute, "I ordered a big turkey!" The woman takes my sandwhich and changes the toppings and gives it to him, then looks at me and says, "Oh its all good now because you ordered a regular turkey right? What I got was this dinky little tube of a sandwich that was smaller than my bottle of water. The chips were stale and didn't have any flavor. On our way to Orlando we stopped in BWI and had a pretty decent and very fairly priced breakfast. Two breakfast sandwiches on a flat and 2 coffees were twelve bucks and change. Their egg and cheese on Cuban bread is fresh cracked eggs and the Cuban loaf is a large portion. You can add meats and anything else they have. I usually get avocado and spinach added. They have a great selection of salads. The salads are made to order with lots of extras to add in. The sandwiches are good too. You can get them in a wrap on on their Cuban bread and get it pressed. I typically order the wrecked or meatball sandwich on flat bread. The regular sandwich is typically less than $6 and will fill you up. It's quite affordable, especially for airport food. So, the sandwich was okay. Little light on meat. I had an Italian and it wasn't anything to write home about. The Oreo milkshake was pretty good. The prices are a little inflated since it's located in an airport, but it is what it is. The service is pretty bad. There's not really much organization and when there is supposedly a stop between ordering your sandwich and the cashier, it's hard to know since no one is manning the veggie station. I watched another customer walk up to the cashier and ask how she was doing. She just says, "good" and stares at him. He responds he'd like to pay and she snaps, "you need to stop at the topping station." So he is taken aback a little and slides backwards to the "topping station." The cashier then steps over and puts on gloves to add toppings to the customer's sub. If you order a milkshake the cashier says your order drinks at the sandwich station and the sandwich maker says you can tell the cashier... What?? If you order a milkshake or smoothie they then tell to the back for another employee to come out and make it. Why wouldn't that employee be out at the "topping station"? Idk.. So the guy comes out and makes the milkshake and it looks more like he's making sweet sweet love to the machine as opposed to prioritizing getting the ordered product out and ready.
