I am a caretaker for an elderly lady who likes to cook/bake. Her oven which is old suddenly stopped working. We called another company to come out and look at it. They spent over thirty minutes attempting to diagnose the problem and eventually said, "you need a new oven. The oven dial on it is not working and the oven is too old to find a replacement dial for it." They left and the old lady was devastated because to replace the oven would be very expensive. Almost six months later (this whole time not having a working oven), she decides to call Power and Performance Air to have a look at her oven because they came out and did great work on a few of her other appliances. The technician Mike came out and in less than a minute (no joke) he had her oven working. The timer dial was on and that was preventing the oven from starting. All you had to do was push it in. I don't understand how the other place spent thirty minutes looking at the oven and didn't figure that out. We were over the moon with the exceptional job that Power and Performance did. If you need your A/C fixed on your home, avoid Power and Performance Air Inc. 1018 Brundage Lane. This business is a complete ripoff. They are very unprofessional, terrible customer relations. You ask them not to do something and they do it anyways, no respect for your property. Walked on tile roof and cracked the tiles after I asked them not to walk on it.They dont even have marked company vehicals or uniforms. Took 6 hours of waiting for them to come back wioth parts to fix my a/c and they couldnt even call me and let me know. They never returned so had to cancel. They are licenced thieves, and liars so avoid. And if a business cant take a personal check, dont do business with them at all because something is wrong soemwhere. read more

I had reached out to this company for second opinion because the first company I spoke to that came out told me I needed a replacement of the whole unit and I was going to have to pay in the thousands for a new unit and if I try and fix it it will cost almost as much as a new one so I was stressed out I called power and performance air they can me out same day looked at it told me it just needed a couple of parts and price was very reasonable they were able to fix it within 1 hr of looking at it I'm so thankful for this company summer is here and I cannot imagine going all summer without ac. This is the best ac company I have ever dealt with. The owners name is Mike, he was very professional and courteous, he came out to give us an estimate for a new unit after another company told us it needed to be replaced. When he asked what part had failed that prompted us to replace the unit we did not know. The previous did not specify they just said it was old and needed to be replace. So he went ahead and diagnosed the system for us and found a simple problem that was quickly fixed. Cost us only $240. The unit works as well as it did before. My AC quit last night about 2000, (5/5/2021). This morning ( the 6th ) I called three AC repair shops. Power and Performance Air was the first one to respond and call me back. 1000 was there arrival time and the young man introduced himself as the technician from Performance Air and his name was Noah. He went right to work, very professional and courteous. After the job was completed (about an hour and a half), he explained again what went wrong and how to use the new thermostat. We had another company out and they overcharged our unit so it wouldn't turn on. Called them back and was told they were too busy to un in and said it it would be several days, it was really disappointing, especiallyin this Bakersfield heat. We are very pleased with Power & Performance Air. We have a good amount of property with some rentals and a dog boarding facility and they have fixed and serviced A/C's, heaters, roof swamp coolers, and even our home refrigerator with very good results. They have been knowledgeable, friendly, and honest, not trying to sell us something we don't need and reasonable with their pricing.
