The first time I used Preferred Pacific Construction's was in 2005 when they just started their business. For the past 16 years, my windows in my home in Fullerton still look great and the window's vinyl never faded or became deformed. A couple of weeks ago (January 2021), I had them place 20 windows in my rental in Aliso Viejo. Tony, the same gentleman I met 16 years ago, came to measure all of the dimensions and Jenny gave me a very competitive quote, via email, the same day. I love working with this family-owned business; they are fast and efficient. Before the replacement, I went to yelp to check the rating of Anlin windows, which is the brand they carry and found out that Anlin is much better than any other brand. Because one of my windows needed to be resized, PPC was able to not only resize the window, but also repair the stucco on the outside of the house. Most other window companies I have come across can only resize windows and can't repair stucco. I am glad PPC can do everything inside and outside and I did not need to hire someone to do the stucco job. I have been very happy with PPC's services with both my experiences using them. read more

We didn't actually end up going through with our project of replacing our entire house's windows. BUT I need to leave a review for Bryan from this company because he really went above and beyond during the consultation process for us. I contacted Bryan because he was going to do my brother in law's house window replacements. After many companies and quotes, my brother in law chose Preferred Pacific Construction for their reasonable price, high quality products provided, and friendly/professional customer service. Bryan spoke to me on the phone for quite a while regarding the regulations in my city and how it may be cost prohibitive to do all the windows at once. Even though I wasn't sure if I would even do the project, he came out anyway to do an in person estimate (I live pretty far from the base of the company). He took his time to precisely measure all of the windows and doors I was interested in replacing, and explained a lot of things to me. I learned quite a lot. The whole appointment took more than an hour! I was very impressed with his wealth of knowledge and professionalism, and really how patient he was (I was asking a LOT of questions). In the end, his initial assessment was correct. Because of my city regulations, the cost for the whole project is just too high, even with Bryan's competitive pricing. So unfortunately at this time we cannot move forward with the project. BUT when we have enough money saved up, you can bet we'll be calling Bryan! read more

We have several wood frame windows that don't open/close properly and had someone come to fix a few, but he was too expensive. So, we were wondering how much it would cost if we replace them instead, then asked Preferred Pacific Construction to get a quote. Bryan came over and introduced vinyl ones, but he also commented that he would not replace wood frame windows with vinyl ones for this house because it could depreciate the house value and lose the historic feature since we live in the nice historic neighborhood. Then he looked one of our windows and advised us to go to Home Depot and buy a Dry Film Lubricant to wax the metal sliding area of the frames. What a honest guy!! He could just sell us the vinyl ones without telling us about possibility of depreciating the house value. We took his words and went to Ace Hardware and bought a lubricant. :) Great customer service! We will call him again when we decide to replace with new wood frames in the future!! I'm just shocked , still shocked , Brian left about 50 minutes ago and my jaws are still , I had called them Based on yelp , and the reviews , made an appointment 3 days ago , I knew I had them @ 930 and other few today , so I just got ready in the morning and waited , so brain shows up 945 , LATE , doesn't text or call previous to remind me of our appointment, " all other companies did " , and since he was late I just assumed I mixed up and I don't have one , so then , ring ring door bell , I open and it's a Brian , I say hi , and I ask are you my 930 appointment? He replied yes , that was a point on him from me already . 2- walks in and ask in very high pitch voice how can I help ? I said I need window shades , ok he says , so I noticed in his hands he only carried clip board , and a Magazine , so I got curious and I asked , do you have samples ? This was after the fact that he asked me wats on your mind? So I replied asking that . 3- he tells me he has many Many many samples and with a smirk smiles says I can't carry all of it , OK ! 4- he walks in I explain to him where to measure wat to look for , 9 min later he is DONE ! Yes done , comes down stairs , very rushing , I opened wat seems to look like $50 catalog I showed him wat I had in mind , I asked about some widow drapery in my family's living room he took a few min to explains why he won't advice me to do it , then proceeded to his speech saying I need to come to the show room to look at samples , pls pls someone explain to Brian what an in home estimate is ! Cause I am puzzled , I had 5 different estimates done , one which is Costco , and thy all got their samples with them , Brian was snobby , loud and didn't seem to care , I needed 20 WINDOWS DONE NOT 2, and for that I at least expect 30 min , not to mentions all the companies spent no less than an hour , I do not recommend, take your business else where , check out excellent wood window in Ontario, ask for Tony , he is great , I will b taking my business to him , Bcz his customer service exceeded the name " Excellent " of his company , I called the office spoke to a lady on the phone and I was furious, I told her everything, thy need to know , don't send jerks to give Estimates, send serious sales people , she told me I don't know whats wrong with him today ? Finally a great experience with a supplier chosen based on good Yelp reviews. This is a real good Window installer. Bryan came in, measured, confirmed the quote given previously through Yelp by Ashley, replied to questions, took order. Then exactly during the promised lead time they called for installation. The 2 technicians were punctual, knowledgeable, respectful, clean, fast, efficient. They installed all the windows in half a day and left a very clean house. Bryan & his Family are absolutely wonderful, dependable & trustworthy. After looking forever for a dependable & competent window contractor, I had the pleasure of contacting Bryan & meeting his Mother at the Office. Too many times a "representative" is sent out to meet with you to discuss what you want and when all is said & done along comes some unsupervised & unknown workers that truly do not know what they are doing. The replacement windows are very misleading as it would appear that popping existing windows out & replacing would be an easy job. That is definitely not the case & was why I was looking for someone that I could trust would be involved in the actual job. Bryan came to the Project location & measured the Windows 2 times: 1) Meet & Measure to provide estimate; & 2) Once contracted to complete work, he came out & took very precise measurements & evaluated the best manner of installation. No 2 window dimensions are the same & that was why he measured each & every window. I also had new construction sliders installed & they did a great job as well. Their Stucco was one of the best I have seen & the final product was better than anything I have experienced in the past. His mother had even invited me to another job location so I could observe his work. I used Anlin Windows which I believe are the best windows out there & their service is absolutely fantastic. Wouldn't use any other window Manufacturer for Vinyl windows. Ultimately, Bryan & his Company were just awesome. Reading the great reviews here, we reached out to Bryan for a quote to repaint the house and replace our old wood windows. Bryan was very responsive; he quickly came out to meet with us to discuss potential options. We really like how the repainted house look. Carlos and team took the necessary time to patch things up, apply primer, etc. He even removed abandoned wires, which really cleaned things up. We replaced the old windows of our house in early June. We had previously seen Preferred Pacific Construction replacing windows for the neighbors. After consulting several companies, we chose this company. Although its price was not the lowest, the attitude of the employees and the quality of the new windows were worth every bit what we paid. Tony received our call and immediately came out to evaluate the replacement and estimated the cost. During the construction process, he kept coming by and checking in with us, listening to our opinions, and doing his best to meet our requirements: such as designing a track covering for the old window frame. The new windows are now both beautiful and easy to clean. At an additional request from us, the company also constructed a rain gutter. In order to match the colors required by the HOA, they made two trips to purchase paints to ensure the colors were correct. The construction was completed in about two days as was promised. Just finished exterior painting of my house in Brea. I was very luck in the quality of the project. The two workers they sent were very dedicated and skilled. They completed the work perfectly. The house was painted in 2010. Due to the strong sunlight, some paints were not solid and some woods were cracked and deformed. If the pre-painting treatment is not good enough, any best paint is just like a waste. They used sanders to polish the old, loose paint, making the surface smooth and flat. It was very laborious. However, after such treatment, it will be painted as if it were new. If they only use putty knife to do a simple process and start to paint, there is no such effect. Another thing I like is that they spent 7 days to complete the work of a 2,700 sq.ft house. In some places, they needed 2 times painting. So much faster is not good for quality. The paint I used this time was Dunn-Edwards Evershield, which is the best and most expensive. Such good paint is worth giving them to do. I believe it can last 10 years. Preferred Pacific Construction is trustful and highly recommended. read more

After researching and shopping around for our sliding door replacements, my wife and I decided to go with Preferred Windows. Simply because of the product they carry and the professional service they provide. On the day of installation, the manager even stopped by to check on the progress to ensure everything goes smoothly. I guess it's always included, but we're pretty happy when they replace old moulding around the doors with new (fancier) ones and painted it. We have used Preferred Pacific Construction twice. First on our former house several years ago and again on our current house. In both cases they were very professional and completed the work quickly and without issues. Brian is very helpful in selection of windows and treats us fairly and honestly, which is why we came back to them. On our recent set of 16 windows we checked with some other companies on same types of windows and found that preferred was still very competitively priced. We love the new Anlin windows (both houses). We are very happy with these type of windows. I will definately use them again for future windows. As a side note, we ripped out and reframed/stucco'd several of the windows due to termite damage and they did a fantastic job of matching the stucco texture & color as well. read more

Long overdue review for Bryan and his team. I hired him to upgrade some windows and patio doors and paint the interior and exterior of my home. They did a great job on both. I debated between Anlin Windows and Milgard Windows, but ultimately went with the Anlin windows. Some small differences and features that I liked better on the Anlin windows is what convinced me. Not to mention, Milgard has gotten so big that if it would take a few weeks to get something faulty serviced (my sister has Milgard and it took 3+ weeks to have a part on her window replaced). After receiving an estimate for new Anlin vinyl French doors and dual sliders from one of the larger door/window companies in Orange County, we decided to get another competitive estimate and a second opinion on our best option from Preferred Pacific Construction. I provided them the measurements and received a preliminary estimate which was $900 less than my other estimates. Bryan Wu from Preferred Pacific Construction set an appointment to do formal measurements and showed up as scheduled. Right away I could tell Bryan was an honest, on the level guy. He provided me all the information I needed and immediately suggested that our existing door opening was going to be too small for dual sliding doors. He even called the manufacturer Anlin to get exact dimensions for our opening and after I taped it off to get a visual, it was very apparent that dual sliders would be a bad decision (we didn't want a single slider). The other door/window company told me otherwise without even confirming exact dimensions with Anlin. We decided to go with Preferred Pacific Construction and get the French doors. We wanted a unique configuration with an operable/opening sidelight on one side and a doggie door on the other sidelight. The manufacturer informed them they couldn't make the doors as a single unit in that configuration which was initially disappointing because that's what we really wanted. Bryan suggested that we get it manufactured in two pieces - the French doors and the operable sidelight as one piece and the sidelight with the doggie door as the other piece. Bryan even came out a second time to redo his measurements for that configuration to ensure they would fit properly and blend seamlessly together. The doors arrived the day Bryan said they would and he had us scheduled the next day for install. His installers showed up on time the next day and were polite, courteous, professional and addressed all my questions/concerns. They did a fantastic job on the install - the doors, patching, stucco repairs, paint and finish are flawless and tight. We are so happy with the work they did and couldn't be more satisfied. The French doors are beautiful and the workmanship is exceptional. Kudos to Preferred Pacific Construction for doing the job the way it should be done and exceeding customer expectations. I spent several months researching a window brand and an installation company to replace all of my windows and my sliding glass door. Being such a large investment I wanted to get it right the first time. After extensive research and meeting with several people I decided on Anlin Brand Windows and Preferred Pacific Construction for the installation. I met with Bryan to go over the job and to get a quote and discuss what I needed done. He measured all of the windows and the door and sent me a quote within a few days. The quote was in mid range of all the others I had received. I was impressed at the care and time he spend discussing the job. I really felt that he wanted to make sure they got it right ... and they did. From the ordering of the windows to the scheduling of the installation. The installation crew arrived on time. Bryan showed up on the morning of the installation to make sure everything was good to go. He introduced me to David the installation supervisor and to the other crew members. Bryan also showed up on he last day of the installation to make sure everything was going well and to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work being done. It took 3 days to complete the installation. The guys worked non stop except for a quick lunch break. They were very respective of my personal items. Everything was covered in plastic to minimize the dust and protect the couches, beds and other furniture. They thoroughly cleaned up in each area as it was completed. They vacuumed and removed all of the trash and construction debris. They too care to make sure all the trim was perfect and each window and the slider was properly sealed and each item was working perfectly. They made sure all the windows and the glass door was completely clean of any dust, markings, finger prints or smudges. It was a lot of work and planning for this project but it was well worth the effort. Everyone from the owner, office staff and installers were nice, respectful, knowledgeable and professional. This company was a pleasure to work with right from the beginning. Brian was by far more knowledgeable about windows than any of the other representatives that gave me a quote. Their's was the only estimate that clearly itemized the charges for each window and breaks down the cost for both materials and labor. Catherine, who is in the office and responsible for sending you the quote was exceptional. No matter who I called or emailed with a question, they always responded immediately. The installation is probably the most important part if you are replacing your windows. Sergio and his team were exceptional right from the moment they set foot on my front porch. They knew what they were doing, they were neat and well organized and took special care to make sure that nothing was damaged. Every window was tested and retested many times to make sure that it was installed perfectly and operating correctly. They paid exceptional attention to every detail.
