If you've ever wanted to sit smack in the middle of a hotel lobby and drink an overpriced cocktail, this is the place for you. Let's back up... we were on our way to the arena at Mandalay Bay to watch the Las Vegas Aces play. We wanted to stop for a light and early meal before the game, so we saw that Bourbon Steak in the Four Seasons opened at 4 pm. What wasn't made clear at all is that they don't serve any food until 5 pm - not even in the bar. So with our plans completely botched, we were told by the bartender at Bourbon Steak that Press served food. He even led us out to the hotel lobby where we confusedly were told to take a seat. There is no signage or any indication that this is "Press"... it's just tables randomly arranged right next to the hotel front desk. I'm a planner, so all this disorganization and lack of clear direction make me unhappy. But a server did approach us and give us a menu so... apparently this assortment of tables right next to check in is some sort of lounge. It's just not the good sort. Here's something really important to note: Bourbon Steak and Press and all the dining/drinking establishments in the Four Seasons ARE listed on the MGM website and app. They are also on the Mandalay Bay website as dining options that are part of their resort. But luckily, we asked and YOU CANNOT CHARGE ANYTHING FROM FOUR SEASONS TO YOUR ROOM AT ANY MGM PROPERTY. They are not connected. Despite ALL the evidence to the contrary. Including the fact that the two hotels are, you know, actually physically connected. So it's disappointing and misleading if you plan to charge to your room and/or use comps or a food and beverage credit, because it definitely seems that would be allowed. It isn't. So after getting that surprising news, we noticed the very high prices on the Press menu. We decided to "press" ahead regardless. I ordered a "Grand Cabaret Gin Sour" which was $27, purple and awful. My SO had a taste and declared it "tastes like what you think purple would taste like" and that isn't good. The food was also unimpressive. The table snacks of popcorn (with maybe a ranch seasoning?) and a nut mix were not particularly fresh or flavorful. We decided to share the sliders ($23) and added on a side of fries (not on the menu but available). The sliders (3) were not delicious - cooked well done and served with sweet pickles, which was about all you could taste. The fries were overly covered with a foul truffle salt. This was almost $100. And if this was a lovely, welcoming repose that would be one thing. But when we mentioned we wanted to order food, our server looked genuinely alarmed. She definitely didn't want to do all that. In general we felt like no one wanted us there, which was weird because as we sat in the middle of a busy hotel lobby, we also felt like we shouldn't be there. This is a big miss for me. I assume in the morning it's good to go downstairs and grab a coffee, but the whole bait and switch with the wrong info on websites and the lack of a welcoming atmosphere coupled with expensive and not very good drinks and food... hard pass. read more

Absolutely love PRESS Bar & Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas! They serve delicious pastries! My Lemon Custard Meringue was amazingly flavorful, and the Cheese Danish was surprisingly tasty, loved the texture and the taste very much! I love this place because it is a hidden oasis in this Vegas desert. My bestie and I have come back a few times to enjoy the coffee. The price point is a little high for the basic coffee that is served and the last time I was here I had to go back to get my food order because it was forgotten after my coffee was ready. I had a lovely evening here after hearing from a friend that this place has some of her favorite chocolate cake in the city. We went for date night, and it was decked out with elegant holiday decor and an elaborate gingerbread town. Love that the seating is casual while the food and service is top notch. if youre not staying at the hotel it is a bit of work to try and find it i came in from the mandalay side and had to ask someone for directions. after going down a hall and then down a staircase i finally found it. not at all what i was expecting, as the coffee side looks like a little cart in the lobby. thought it was going to be more of a cafe coffee was good and though and so was the yogurt parfait. bunch of little tables to sit at with comfortable chairs. bar side didnt look open though when i got there. im sure this place is banging later on though read more

Press is a relaxed, upscale bar/lounge located inside the lobby of the Four Seasons Las Vegas (attached to Mandalay Bay). I've been a few times but most recently came in last night and it's one of my favorite stops for a drink when I begin a night out on the strip. It's classy and currently decorated lavishly for the holidays. (Photo by their tree and sleigh is a must-do.) You can dress both business casual or formal and fit right in. Last night the bar was very busy but I continually receive amazing service every time we come in. Our server Solange took great care of us, frequently checked in and engaged us in friendly conversation (Thank you!). My husband and I both indulged in a few espresso martinis. I live in Las Vegas and spend an ample amount of time on the LV Strip in my 20 years of being a local. I will always seek out a good lobby bar during off hours to sit, relax, take in the people watching, enjoy an adult beverage. It has been a minute since I have been to the lobby bar at the Four Seasons. And although located in the same spot as it has been when this place was built, something is more amiss here since my last martini in this space many moons ago. When at Mandalay Bay, I find it ideal to start or even end the evening in this space. It is still very nice to have the secret squirrel-ish route right off the main reception desk lobby of Mandalay Bar to find Press Bar to begin with (follow the sings to the Four Seasons, down the spiral staircase and you will see the lobby/bar on your right). The server was super sweet. The martini was the same. I think it is the upkeep of the furniture and the tight space that was throwing me for a loop. The furniture is really crap. Crap like maybe it could have come from Ikea, but like the upgraded pleather from Ikea. It is also falling apart from wear. The edges of the chairs we were sitting in were worn through, frayed and tattered with metal showing. They were uncomfortable as well. This is not to be expected at the level of a Four Seasons brand. So this seems strange to us. But also, the hemmed in, tightly jammed feel of the crap furniture in proximity to the front desk and this space is a design flaw. So the ambiance all around is a miss for me. Throw in the sub-par kind of stale and also soggy potato chip snack provided, I am not feeling it here. I do like that there are windows though that look out on to natural light and foliage from the outdoors. I do like this part. Again, you cannot beat the tucked away feeling of finding this cozy lobby bar, I simply wish it was more well appointed as the Four Seasons brand renders. read more

As a coffee snob, I can say this place deserves all five of these stars. The staff were so friendly and quick to make drinks and heat up food. The breakfast sandwich was so good. This isn't anything like what Starbucks has. This has great quality ingredients and tastes delicious. My coffee was off the charts amazing! So good. Amazingly Fresh Muffins and Coffee to Boot! The banana muffins are fresh, moist and busting with a fresh and ripe banana tatse! What a treat to stop by here for morning coffee! The hostess was extremely nice and amicable. Her recommendation of the banana muffin and my iced black eye made for a perfect morning with the little one. The coffee was bold and strong and very smooth. The iced black eye had the consistency and pleasure similar to that of a Guinness! The little one loved her muffin and latte. The parlor area offers very nice and comfortable seating where the little one was able to read. I was able to yelp the last two reviews along with the majoity of this one. The setting and food made for a perfect environment for a long stimulating conversation with the little one. We talked and had a great cup of coffee. Great place and Yelpers have this one right! I am a coffee addict, so I know when coffee is good. So my boyfriend and I were in town for his birthday, and we both NEED our coffee in the morning. Before we even start our day :) We don't really like the big chain coffee shops, except Peet's Because we want to experience the uniqueness of the locals. Plus I believe that every coffee drink has its unique taste, especially if it's from a different shop. Even if it's the same flavor (mine is Canilla latte with oat milk). So we went looking for a coffee shop that wasn't so packed and that would be local of course. We couldn't find one for the life of us. I looked this place up but honestly didn't think much of it because of its name. But we really didn't have any other options, unless we walked even further, into other hotels. We ordered our regulars, Hot vanilla latte with oat milk. Oh my... when we took the first sip.. sooo delicious!! It was so hot outside but we didn't care the coffee was too good, it didn't matter that it was so hot. We also ordered the "chef's danish" because I am a pastry lover and can't help myself when I see good quality pastries, I HAD to have it! That was the best danish I've ever had! It was just perfect and wasn't overly sweet. It really hit the spot, along with our coffee. We went back once again before we left! The time of the event, "Social Sessions", I went here for on a Thursday at 5:30 was changed, according to the event coordinator when I showed up. I checked the event info on the Four Seasons site before I left, which indeed listed the event from 5:30 to 7. They apologized for the time change, and I was offered a free drink. I chose Veuve Clicquot and rose, served in a plastic logo champagne glass. This was one of the drinks they would be selling during the event. I sat at the bar, and at some point was offered the bar mix snack they serve. The event, featuring Veuve Clicquot, was for complimentary cocktail samples and passed small plates. So I missed out on all that! The lounge is very nice, and the adjacent patio would've been great if not for that pesky Vegas wind! The patio overlooks the pool too. They have a daily happy hour from 7 to 9 pm, with half price appetizers and cocktail specials. Among the "small bites" on their regular menu are beef sliders, coconut shrimp, fries and a Bavarian pretzel. They also have flatbreads on the menu. From the Four Seasons Web site- Sample our bar specials every evening, including half-price All-In Fries, Flatbread and Large Bavarian Pretzel, a glass of house wine or Prosecco for just 8, a glass of draft beer for 4 and our Mixologist Choice Cocktail of the Hour for 8. It was my first time exploring the Vegas strip and stumbled upon this coffee shop as it was located inside the hotel I was planning on staying at for a future visit. If you're looking for a nice romantic area to catch up with some friends over some nice drinks away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas, this is the place to be. The drinks were great, especially the smoked Old Fashion - so good I had 3! We had some light appetizers, such as the Maghertia flatbread and sliders. Wow! What a great space! This is truly a Four Seasons bar done right. The artwork and the architectural details are stunning. And the service matches it perfectly. For an hour, we forgot we were on the strip. It was refreshing to be in a space on the strip where people weren't carrying around bud lights wearing dirty clothing. We had a bottle of cav sauv that was absolutely amazing. When the wine hits your mouth it does a quick sweet dance on the tip of our tongue and then as it coats the rest of your mouth the sweetness breaks away and a beautiful fruity jam takes over. It finished off with a well balanced note that slowly fades away. When we asked our server about the wine we found out it is a wine bottled special for Four Seasons properties. I looked for it only and can't find it anywhere else. We will vibe coming back. On another note, our server heard it was my birthday and brought out this beautiful plate of chocolate caramels. She said something back and next thing we knew it was $78.00. For two martinis. The woman at the bar was not audible, displayed zero personality, upsild us the liquor without any interaction, zero eye contact, was short in her demeanor and just everything NOT I would expect from a FS. Basically took total advantage of any opportunity to increase a check. Having been an F&B leader with FS for nearly 15 years, I was shocked to see how careless today's luxury hotel employee is. Swanky. Right inside the entrance of the Four Seasons Hotel, the b/f and I came here specifically for some croissant doughnuts that I'd pre-ordered for an event with Yelp friends. This is definitely out of the way for us, but I have to say that I'd love to hang out here more if it were closer. My order of a dozen donuts was ready when we got there, each one in individual boxes- so fancy! Since we had time to kill, we had our coffees and relaxed in the seating area adjacent to the bar. Lounge hopping in Las Vegas can get expensive if you're visiting the swanky spots on the strip. But after a long hectic week, a date night was in order. I needed a fabulous drink, serene ambiance and classy service. I found all that and more at the Press Bar and Lounge inside the Four Seasons Hotel. The Press Lounge is quickly found as you enter pass a modern art structure and we sauntered off to the outdoor cozy patio where we found round glass fire pits, twinkling lights on trees and the soft sound of a waterfall in the background. 7/7/13 A plane crash at San Francisco Airport forced us to stay an extra day in Vegas. After we checked out of Mandalay Bay and had our luggage stored, we walked around and stumbled into the Four Seasons, which is encapsulated around the Mandalay ground. Their pool is right next to the Mandalay Beach separated by partition. So we were killing time until it was time head back to McCarran. PRESS is a lounge overlooking the pool area. It consists of a full bar and a coffee/espresso stand. You can make purchase of coffee/tea and pastries and sit at the lounge, or order cocktails from the bartender. PRESS have plug-ins to recharge your iPhone and iPod dock. There's complimentary wifi. We split our time between the cozy indoor lounge and the poolside wicker chairs outside. It's perfect for catching up with friends or just chilling, reading a book. A cosmopolitan is just $12 here---yes, at the Four Seasons and service is impeccable. They turned on the mist outside and parts of the section have cushioned booths that sit up to 10. It's a gorgeous beautiful place hidden away from the Strip. I really enjoy this place and you should too! They have a happy hour menu from 10pm-12am It is half off (coffee, nightcap cocktails). They have a huge assortment of cocktails and they are very good. Everything from a moscow mule to a mojito. Besides the drinks they have food as well (tapas). So far what I have had are the deviled eggs and if your a fan of deviled eggs these are the best in town. Another dish we chose was a baked alaska and that desert was outstanding. We spoke briefly with the manager who was very kind and he said he is trying to make this into a local spot.
