I was on a work trip and had a taste for pizza. I heard about this place and decided to give it a try. When I came into the restaurant I was greeted by staff. I ordered a slice of white pizza, spicy pepperoni square slice and Cesar salad. The spicy pepperoni pizza had a little kick but the flavors were out of this world. I ordered two cheese slices and one Sicilian slice. When my order came, I was both surprised at how thin the slices are for the price. If I'm paying almost $4 for a slice of pizza, I should get an actual slice. Not a slice that can go into a grade school lunchbox. The Sicilian (square) slice was thin like a regular slice of pizza. Traditionally, the square slice is thicker and has a healthy amount of cheese and sauce. The flavor was good from the combination of ricotta and pesto, but definitely not worth $5 for the slice. I have heard so many great things about Prime Pizza I had to check it out for myself- and I already can't wait to go back! It wasn't too crowded for a Friday night. Easy to find a table in the little outdoor dining area (we did have to wipe down our own table though). There's a parking lot but we weren't able to find a spot and parked on the street. It took about 30 minutes to get the food but OMG it was worth it. We got the Arrabiata pizza- It was the perfect combination of spicy, crispy, and cheesy. But I have to say my favorite part was the ranch. I am one of those people who need ranch with every bite and this ranch was IT! Definitely tasted home made. Always on the hunt for a good pie and Prime Pizza didn't disappoint. I always see people wearing their merch and had been meaning to give it a try for awhile. I eventually came here for Prime day and got a pepperoni pie. I believe the pie was only $17 for prime day and the pepperoni definitely had a little kick to it (which I was a fan of). ARPI is a five star manager and provides outstanding service during the lunchtime shift and the people working in the kitchen work hard, but I have mentioned before writing this review the shift change that occurs with the taller woman in charge 4:00pm and later ignores customers in the new year. (She ignored me and another African American man and just continued talking about non-business related things to her coworker. I have given over three chances to--and went twice in March 2025--feel free to look up my rewards points. I won't go past 4pm anymore to this Burbank Location even though they have a cheese slice happy hour special for $2.50. (And other drink specials as well). To Pay $5.25 for one pepperoni overcooked dry slice with hardly any pepperonis stinks. And recently they raised the side of ranch dressing to $1.50. I have been coming here since 2021, when there was more seating for customers in this Prime Location, but they blocked off an entire area making a cramped ambiance. Now the final straw with why I won't come after 4pm, because I came in around 4:15pm and looked at the red glass case, and saw they put a fresh pepperoni pie and a white slice pie. I ordered a slice of each, but it came from the leftover pies in the back. And I asked, why couldn't I get those slices in the case. I was told those are the "display pieces". (With the lunch time, the piece I point to is the piece I get). I was told, "The other ones that I got served from the back were fresh, we just had our changeover at 4pm". And on top of that the RANCH is kept in a red plastic bin unrefrigerated for hours, and you know they have the best homemade ranch but really that should be kept refrigerated. Second time I showed up right at opening and ordered a half sausage and kale half white pizza. It took less than 20 mins to make. It was sooo fresh and hot I had to eat two slices then and there I couldn't even make it to the car! Both were extremely delicious, the white pizza was creamy and garlicy and had some soft cheese on it that was so lovely and not too salty! The sausage kale pizza has globs of tomato sauce on it which was so juicy and taste really makes your mouth water. There is plenty of seating outside with a water station and they have plates, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper for your use. They also have a couple small tables inside, it's very cozy and smells INCREDIBLE. I will definitely be back again... probably bi weekly cause I'm officially obsessed. This breaks my heart to even write, but I was just delivered the worst pizza I've ever had from Prime. I have never had a bad experience until now, and they are my go to. I have introduced others to them and even took advantage during the pandemic with their pizza kits. Tonight it was clear I was given old pizza that had been warmed up. It didn't taste fresh and it was brick hard, the char at the bottom from being heated up was overwhelming, the cheese slices I had were like crackers and the spicy pepperoni square had no flavor, wasn't spicy and clearly was old. The service is always good and everyone is super friendly and helpful whenever I go to pick up food. It may be that you just need to go in if ordering by the slice to make sure it's fresh or just get a whole pie so you know it's fresh. We tried this place when it first opened up in Burbank, the wait was very long and the pizza was horrible. Not only did it not taste bad, but it looked like it had been made to look bad. The vegetarian pizza had three very large gobs of kale balls that looked like someone had used a sh0tg.u.n to splatter the pizza out of its misery. We recently tried it again, because they may have had a bad day, the day we went, and it was new and very busy. We like to give places second chances. They must have bad days, every day. I'm not sure how they stay in business. The cheese pizza is like the bland stuff you get for lunch in a high school cafeteria. The wings were dry and over cooked. The only thing that was good was the bread puffs or whatever they call them. The sauces were good but we will never go there again. It's too bad because the last pizza place that was there was also subpar and it's right around the corner. I really don't understand how it can be so busy, the pizza at 7-11, tastes better for a third of the price. And even when you try and plan for the fact that they usually mess up orders here, they still mess it up. We've never had an issue with the original Hollywood Location. I placed at order through Toast early in the morning before they even opened for pickup up by 11:30am. I received a notice from Toast that the restaurant had not approved my order yet and to call to make sure they received the order. I called them right when they opened at 11am. Spoke to some guy who said they see my order and that it would be ready by 11:30am no issues, he even spoke to two other people while I was put on hold twice. I get there at 11:35am. They don't have the order. They said the order didn't print for the back. So they had to make the pizza now. There were other people also waiting with issues with their orders not being ready. Now I get, that these order apps have issues sometimes and things happen. However, I specifically called to make sure that they had the order and they assured me they did and it would be ready. So that is why I am extra annoyed. I tried helping them because I knew they were usually problematic at this location. But no, they still managed to mess it up. They ended up giving a few of us in line some free apps for having to wait an extra half an hour for our orders. But seriously this location is no bueno. This spot has been on my list for a while now after hearing great things about it! Stopped by and there was a short wait on a Tuesday evening. We waited around 20 min for our pizza and saw that the large group after us had gotten their food already. I checked in with the cashier and he said the previous cashier had not put it in the system, so I paid once again to place the order. Turns out the previous cashier had charged me but the order itself somehow didn't go through, so I was charged twice in total but reassured that I'd be refunded. The second cashier was very apologetic and ensured that our pizza would come out ASAP, and it did in about 5 more minutes. A little mishap but the second cashier handled it very well! I ordered square slices of the grandma and the Sicilian! Both were amazing, the grandma was more simple with only cheese and sauce, but the Sicilian had more flavor and pesto as well. My friend recommended coming here to try this pizza place since he been to the LA location. The first thing you should know about this location is that the parking here is very limited and small. I was lucky to find a spot in the front and we were lucky enough to find a table inside too since it was raining. They have outdoor seating but no one was sitting there because it was all wet. They only have like 4 tables inside and it's very small so be aware. When we arrived they had people inside waiting for their order and also people picking up to go order. I wanted the spicy pepperoni pizza but they ran out so my friend and I got the regular pepperoni pizza. I also got the lemon pepper wings with ranch. The pizza came out first and then my wings. I thought the pizza crust was crunchy and the taste was okay. The lemon pepper wings were not my favorite, I like another wings spot way better and it doesnt come with carrots only celery. My friend got a full bbq chicken pizza to go for his family.
