You know a place is authentic when they only take cash. The food is delicious! The hand pulled noodles are so chewy and bouncy and the sauce is very flavorful. The service is fast and adequate, but don't expect pleasantries or small talk.
Located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. We were seated right away, no wait on a weeknight. We made sure to bring cash, because they are cash only. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and my partner had the tomato and eggs noodles. Extremely flavorful and delicious. Definitely one of the top noodle spots in the area! Portions are generous as well. Service was prompt, no complaints. We will be back!
Located in strip mall in Cupertino, a little off of busy DeAnza Blvd. They only accept cash or Venmo (minus 1/2 star), so be prepared. I ordered spicy beef noodle soup, and you can choose light, or extra spice. I got light spice, but in hindsight, I should have stuck with regular because there was simply no burn. The beef is tenderized perfectly - nice and soft, bok choy and noodles are excellent, well portioned, not over or underdone. Broth is savory and fresh. Overall, an excellent example of traditional beef noodle soup. I tasted some of the spicy fish soup as well - a little odd how the meat is fried and then put into a soup base, but somehow it works. The fish is soft and flavorful. Cold cucumber and veggie plate - I liked the cucumber better - more flavor and easier to chew. Crisp and cruncy. The pea shoots in the veggie plate was a little fibrous and difficult to chew/swallow. Service is as you would expect for this area - their focus is on turnover so don't expect any red carpets being rolled out. Menu is by QR code, again to speed things up and why bother starting any conversations. For that, go elsehwere. Truly above 3 stars, but I'm rounding down. that's all...
I love coming here for the hot spicy fish noodle soup! I've been here a few times and i've always ordered this. The crispy fish batter soaks up the soup and it's delicious! The soup itself is light and the noodle texture is to die for! We also ordered the liangpi and my boyfriend thought it was pretty average (6/10). The meat in the meat burger (肉夹馍) was extremely juicy and tender, but the bread was a bit dry (7.5/10). We also tried the sliced beef in hot oil sauce and we both loved this dish! The hot oil sauce was extremely fragrant and flavorful, but not too spicy (10/10). We came here around 11:40am and the restaurant still had plenty of seats but the restaurant quickly got busy by 12pm.
Every time I come here I forget it's CASH ONLY!! x__x So I'm putting this upfront to warn y'all! I've eaten here a handful of times and it's always been pretty solid. I like that you have width options for the noodles. I always go for the wide noodles. Came here around 7pm on a weeknight and we were able to sit wherever we wanted. You order through a QR code on the table. The food comes out relatively quickly and hot. I got the Spicy Sour Pork Noodle Soup. I liked the sourness but I think I prefer the pickled preserved veggies in the Spicy Fish Noodle Soup better than the sour chopped veggies in mine. I wish both noodle soups came with more protein though. Overall a solid place to eat if you're craving hand pulled noodle soup
QQ Noodle serves delicious Chinese noodles. I like the Spicy Fish Noodle Soup I recently got over the hot oil noodles I got when I last came here in 2022. Even though I love sichuan noodles, I actually thought the hot oil noodles dish was unbalanced since the large amount of noodles overpowered the small amount of protein and veggies the dish came with. The spicy fish noodle soup had bok choy and spicy soup in it, so the dish was perfectly balanced and had a good spice level. The noodles are freshly made, and you can taste it when you bite into the bouncy noodles. The price is about $20 a bowl after tax and tip, so it's fair for the amount of high-quality food you get.
This is my go-to comfort food spot! QQ Noodle offers generous portions at reasonable prices. I usually visit on weekday nights, and while the restaurant is busy, I'm always able to find a seat. The service is extremely efficient, and the waiters all speak Mandarin and English. This is definitely a bustling restaurant, so be prepared for a loud and fun ambiance, with lots of families! Every single noodle dish that I've tried here features homemade, chewy noodles. I've never had such fresh noodles before! My favorite is the house special sour and spicy noodle with pork. The sauce is super savory but not overly salty. The pork pieces are cooked to perfection, and I love the small pieces of daikon and carrots on the side. The beef noodle soup is another favorite, always warm and cozy with an umami broth. I've come here innumerable times, and I always look forward to my next visit.
Pretty good noodles and soup! Service was great, quick and convenient and affordable. I got the mustard fish and wide noodles and liked the mild flavor, bur would probably do a smaller noodle next time because the volume was a bit overwhelming! The century egg and tofu was great, and I would love to get again.
Fish noodle soup 4/5 - this broth was very light and I was hoping for more flavor. Lots of noodles and we like the texture of the noodle Chili oil noodle with beef 5/5- this one was very yummy. Not too spicy but has a nice flavor and kick. Came on a weeknight and it was pretty empty
It was so delicious I genuinely was about to order a 2nd dish. You have to get the special hot oil noodle it's just so good. I have also tried the pork garlic before but I feel like that's not what their as known for so you have to do the hot oil noodle if you want a dry noodle or the beef noodle soup if you want a wet noodle. I think #10 and #20 are the most popular dishes from looking around the restaurant. Ugh I am craving this again as I write this review because I'm thinking about how QQ the noodle was and how delicious the sauce was. Can't wait to come back, QQ noodle. You order from your phone and pay with cash, don't forget! It's weird it's 2025 and you still only accept cash, but it works for them I guess. Food came out really fast. No wait for a weekday dinner.
Cash only. The noodle here is beyond what I've ever tasted. It's so chewy, soft, and tangy? I loved every bite and I want to come back. Food came out quickly and ambiance was much like a local mom and pop restaurant vibe. The beef was so soft and tasty. The soup for the spicy beef noodle was actually really clear and flavorful. Can't wait to come back!
I came to have lunch with some friends around 12:45pm on a Saturday afternoon. It was a full house, every table was taken. My first time trying this noodle place. It was not bad. I ordered the fish with mustard wide noodle soup dish. I also tried pig's ears and tofu with thousand year old eggs. My friends enjoyed their noodle soup dishes as well. Overall, I would come back and try other dishes. The restaurant atmosphere is not too bad. There is separate gender restrooms available for customers to use.
CASH ONLY! Really delicious chewy noodles! The texture is amazing, especially if you get the wide noodles. It's not too thick, and very fresh and chewy, exactly how noodles should be. Their toppings, however, needs some work. I absolutely love tomato eggs, and while it's probably not their best option here, I hope to see them improve their tomato eggs topping more in the future. I would love to come back and try some of their more famous or flavorful toppings since their noodles are so good! The pig ears appetizer was also really good and helped add more flavor to the noodles. The place is very big and has a lot of seating, but it did fill up quickly after opening!
This place definitely lives up to the hype. The texture of the hand pulled noodles are probably the best I've ever had. It's super thick and chewy. I got the special hot oil noodles, and it is very spicy. It came with seasoned pork and bokchoy. Overall I thought it was a very balanced meal in terms of the amount of noodles, vegetables, and meat that I got. The portion is huge, and the price is great. I definitely want to come back and try their other noodles! One thing to note is that they don't take card so make sure to bring cash! read more
I'm always on the look out for solid hand pulled noodles because everyone that I've tried so far is more on the chewy, thicker side. In Chinese, there's a term, "QQ" to refer to the chewy/softness of a noodle (or carb based food). To achieve QQ is difficult, but once you eat a noodle that's perfectly QQ - it's an amazing experience. So onto QQ Noodle - I had high expectations since they decided to boldly name their restaurant after the very culinary term that represents a perfect texture, so I figured - why not? A couple of things to know - this place is CASH only and tends to fill up pretty quickly, so be prepared to wait. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup** and garlic pork noodles**. The Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was not too salty, the broth was well seasoned and actually was on the lighter side. Thankfully I ordered the spicy version so the hot chili oil added a nice depth in flavor. The beef was perfectly tender and oh my gosh the noodles. The noodles were the QQ I was looking for! It's thin, but not too thin that it dissolves in the soup. I will say since it errs on the wider noodle side, it may be difficult to eat but it's worth the struggle. The garlic pork noodles is a dry noodle dish, think if it similar to a jajang noodle dish. They seasoned it with some garlic and cumin, the flavors packed a huge punch and did not disappoint. When eating noodles, I prefer soupy noodle dishes - but this was GOOD. I stole more than a few bites from my partner. read more
Good handpulled noodles with a simple and straightforward menu and efficient service. I came for dinner with a group of friends on a Saturday evening and we were seated right away. After we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly and the servers were very fast and great about filling our water cups. The Liang Pi here is delicious. I love the cold noodles in their chili oil. I ordered the Garlic Pork Noodles for myself and really enjoyed the texture and taste of the noodles. The sauce was a bit too much on the spicy side for me even though the dish was one pepper sign, so I thought it'd be more mild. The pork pieces were also very salty. In general I think their spicy dishes lean a little too hard on the spicy side since most of the people in my party were a bit surprised by the level of spiciness they got. It would be great if we could adjust spicy level though. read more
If you're looking for some chewy handmade noodles, this is the place. We got the spicy beef noodle soup and chili oil noodles. They're not very spicy according to Asian food standards. The noodles are very flavorful. Just wished they had slightly more meat in their dishes. Also just FYI it's cash only! read more

Went there on a Thursday for lunch, wasn't too crowded, ordered the liangpi, pig ears and hot oil noodles. The liangpi wasn't on the QR code menu, but they were able to add it on for me. The wide noodles were chewy and spicy, very good. I had a craving for this after watching the Netflix special on noodles. It satisfied my craving, but left feeling g a little oily since there were a lot of chili oil in the dishes. Nothing a tropical tea can't wash down though. read more

We came here on a chilly night for some warm soup. We were a little surprised about the 4 star average- definitely more of a 3/3.5 star place You order at the counter. The menu is pretty limited with less than 20 items. There's photos on the wall by the counter to refer and point to. Any of the noodle dishes can have thick or thin noodles. Plenty of indoor seating, enough to distance yourself from others. They bring you your food. For appetizers we had roasted peanuts, which were fine, no different than what you'd buy at an asian grocery store. They also had a "vegetable salad". I'm not adept at my leafy green terminology, but it's a cooked green, that is served chilled and unflavored. It was pretty good. For the noodles, we had a Beef Noodle Soup and a Tomato-Egg dry noodle. For the Beef Noodle soup, the broth was very tasty, the beef was alright- more chewy tendons than I would've liked. The thin noodles it came with were okay, but were entirely flavorless. For the Tomato and Egg dish- I loved the ingredients, since I grew up eating this. And while the thick noodles are SO fresh and have the PERFECT texture, they also were flavorless. The noodles reminded me of the same thick noodles at Noodleophosy that I also think taste incredibly freshly made. However, unlike those, the sauce here doesn't seep in or stick to the noodles, and the noodles themselves taste bland. So overall, they make great, fresh noodles, but the noodles come out very bland despite otherwise well-flavored toppings. read more

Thought the noodles were good, very Q. I didn't enjoy this particular dish so much (I got the #8) - it was too sour and pork was too tough for me. The #10 was not bad though, it has a good bone broth-ey beef noodle soup flavor, so would recommend that one. Cash only! read more
This is a restaurant nestled in the same complex as TPT when you enter, you order, and the menu is taped on the wall next to the register. They don't list what's in it, so use your best judgment. They also don't list the prices, which my friends and I are a bit surprised about. This might be due to the ever rising costs amidst the COVID era, as I saw pics of the menu taken by other yelpers which had prices on them. I ordered the sour and spicy wide noodles. Even if the picture doesn't come with wide noodles, you can inquire if you can substitute the wide noodles in for your dish, which is what I did. I enjoyed my dish, as its name says it had a good balance of sour and slight spice, not too much though where I could not handle it. Unfortunately, my friend ordered the number one had meat which was too salty so that they could not finish it fully. The portion seemed on the smaller side, but they were quite filling. Another friend ordered the beef noodles, and she also could not finish it all, more due to being a good amount of food and less about overwhelming saltiness. We also ordered a side of seaweed, and pig ears. This was the first time I have eaten pig ears. It was a thoroughly unique experience. It's a cold side dish, with crunchiness from the cartilage with very neutral flavor making it refreshing. My friend could have probably benefited from adding most of this side to their dishes, as it probably would have evened out the saltiness of their dishes. Overall I enjoyed my order. My friend would not reorder the #1 again due to the saltiness. read more

If you read my QQ Noodle Milpitas review long ago, at the time that one was missing core ingredients that made the dish unique. I never went to that location again. Very limited menu due to covid. Walked in at opening time on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. Menu has about 8 main options with some appetizers. The bowls came out piping hot. Their food is still served in plastic bowls with plastic spoons. The noodles were thick and al dente. Nice chew to them but I prefer thinner noodles. I didn't see any options for a different type of noodle. The broth was light and flavorful and the beef was flank style with some chewy tendon. My husband prefers his without all the crunchy tendons so he wasn't into it. The crowds starting showing up around 30 mins after opening and I was able to see how their ordering system worked. Line up, order, then get seated. It was a bit uncomfortable eating because we were seated right next to this line. So it does get busy with alot of bodies loitering around. Overall, a pretty good bowl of noodle soup. 3 stars from me but I bumped them to 4 for their fast service. read more

Such good hand pulled noodles!! This place is cash only, so make sure you have enough cash before coming. Beef Noodle Soup: 9/10! The broth is soo yummy and just hits on a cold night out. Was not a big fan of the noodle texture compared to the wide noodles. Garlic Pork Noodles: 8/10. Loooved the wide noodles in this. This dish was on the saltier side but was still good. read more

I'm so thankful coworker told me about this place! This is my second time coming here for the garlic pork noodles.The service was super quick and if you order online you can be sure your order is going to be ready! I highly recommend you eat there, there's a lot of tables and although they get busy there's always one or two free tables. You want to eat it fresh so you can mix the noodles to evenly coat the sauce on the noodles and so they don't get stuck together. Both times I got 蒜蘸面 Garlic Sauce w/ Pork, the first time it came with bok choy and second time it came with iceberg lettuce so it may just be depending on what's in season. Also it's cash only so make sure you pull cash before! read more

This place has the best noodles - chewy, even consistency. Came here 3 times with groups of friends with no wait each time. My favorite dish is the beef noodle soup. The liang pi was also good! Staff were friendly and came to refill our waters often. They also only accept cash. Ambiance was casual and friendly. This is a no-frills, seat yourself, cafeteria style, hole in the wall shop which sells bowl upon bowl of hand made QQ noodles! The seating is kind of tight inside in covid times, so just be aware of that if that is something you are concerned about. But you can always order take out and eat your bowl of noodles in your car if you'd like! I ordered the spicy garlic pork hand pulled noodles. The hand pulled noodles were definitely very good and tasted fresh, exactly as advertised. One order of noodles is very filling, two of us split one bowl of noodles and we were both comfortably full by the end. read more

QQ Noodles is unmatched if you are craving the perfect chewy, spicy Chinese hand pulled noodles. Whenever friends from out of town visit, I absolutely bring them here for the food. Whenever I am celebrating a special event, I drag my family out here for a celebratory meal. Whenever I can come up with any reason at all, I pull up here. The service is a bit blunt, but the food truly speaks for itself and this place receives 5 stars solely because I have yet to find another hand pulled noodle option that rivals their quality. My go-to's in no particular order (ALL of these are 5/5 stars): 1. Liang Pi : This location makes them with wheat and the noodles are beautifully soft and slippery. Contrasted with the chewy gluten, this is just spicy textural fun! 2. Garlic Pork Noodles (#24) : The spicy pork with all the garlic flavor you could want packs a punch only to be outshined by the texture; the springy, fresh noodles is offset with crunchy bits of lettuce for an awesome combo. 3. Braised Beef Noodle Soup (#10 or #12 depending on if you want spice) : The broth is quite light, but still packed with flavor. I just have to rave again about the incredible quality of their noodles. They also do not skimp with the beef; this comes loaded with large chunks of beef so tender they'll fall apart in your mouth. They have reduced the menu somewhat during COVID, but they kept all the popular items and now they serve the food directly in to-go containers even when you are eating in, which I think honestly may have slightly reduced the serving size. Be warned, this place is CASH ONLY even during COVID so come prepared with a full wallet and an empty stomach. read more
QQ Noodle appears to be a local favorite. While I was there, there were consistently long lines out the door. However, I drove 30 minutes to try this place and I have deemed it not worth the trip. It operates like your normal mom and pop shop. The front has the menu in numbers and pictures, some of the pictures are more faded than others. You order at the counter, wait for your food at a table, and pay at the counter again. Looks like they ordered way too many take out containers because my friends and I were given disposable cups, utensils, and bowls to eat our noodles. I'm not the biggest fan of having hot soups linger in plastic bowls so I was pretty turned off...that's how you get toxins into your body you guys...leading to cancer and infertility and other bad stuff... I mean the noodles were alright. I got the braised stew noodles, ample amount of noodles but the beef quality felt mediocre. If the friends that I was meeting with didn't insist on coming here, then I would have happily lived my life without ever having visited this place. I'm sure that QQ Noodle was better for dine in customers before the pandemic and that it's good enough to be a local favorite, but it's definitely not worth going out of your way to come here if you're not from here. read more

Possibly my favorite noodle place in the Bay Area. They are cash only and have a limited menu due to the pandemic. Most of their staples are still there. Dine in experience is shortened to an "order first at the counter" and then be seated. The noodles come in huge portions (don't let the take out containers deceive you). Most of the servers will leave you to enjoy your food quietly but are very attentive when you call for them. read more
I love QQ Noodle! I've been here several times, and I love their hot and spicy beef noodle soup. It's the perfect amount of spice for me, and it has deliciously soft and chewy noodles and a good amount of beef and bok choy. I've also tried their garlic sauce with pork noodles, which is delicious as well, but I always return for my spicy beef noodle soup. They are cash only, but there's a Walgreens in the same plaza where you can get cash back if needed. I've never experienced a wait to be seated here, and service is very quick and friendly. !! cash only !! first time here and i wasn't feeling the most hungry, so i ordered the leek & egg dry noodle with less noodles. right off the bat, i could smell the chili oil at the bottom of the bowl so i knew it was going to be flavorful. after mixing, i noticed there was also some sichuan peppercorn powder which added a nice numbing sensation to cut through the oiliness. personally, i would have liked it to be less oily because the leeks and egg were also oily but id say that's just personal preference. the noodles are very QQ and i absolutely love the variety in thickness. it definitely shows that they're hand pulled and so so bouncy. ill definitely come back to try some of their other noodle dishes! read more

I was excited to try because of all the good reviews but it didn't impress. They were out of few items due to reduced menu. Unfortunately, the beef noodle soup and spicy garlic noodles were pretty salty. The broth and beef in the noodle soup were really salty. The pork in the garlic noodles was very salty. The only good thing about these two dishes was the noodles. Super chewey handmade noodles. Cash only and make sure to order from the right location (Milpitas or Cupertino) read more

The noodles had a nice chew while still being soft. #11 Hot spicy fish noodle soup - fish was very good and had a slight crisp on the outside when not submerged in the soup. Soup had a nice subtle kick. #24 Garlic with pork noodle - the spicy garlic sauce had a nice kick but I couldn't really taste the garlic. I wish it was a little more flavorful. The pork was a little dry but seasoned well. I thought it was interesting that it came with lettuce instead of an Asian vegetable. The noodles were pricer than I expected at $15 - $17 after taxes. read more

The noodles were sooooo CHEWY, DELICIOUS, and filling. Since Shanghai Dumpling was closed, I walked a few steps to the right and found myself at QQ Noodle where noodles have that hand-pulled texture and payment is cash only. For my bowl, I had the House Special Sour and Spicy with Pork Noodle Soup which is definitely sour and spicy with flavorful pork pieces. Others in my party had the House Special Sour and Spicy with Pork (with no soup) and Garlic Sauce with Pork Noodle which smelled like Scampi...mmmm. Everyone was happy with their meals. At almost $15 per generous bowl, I can see coming here again. read more

Disclaimer - this place is cash only. So if you are like me and almost never carry cash you can go to the Walgreens in the strip mall and get some cash from the ATM. Not ideal, but you won't have to go far to get cash. Ambience is clean, brightly lit, with wooden tables. Limited menu, which is refreshing in a sea of restaurants that have so many offerings. The hand pulled noodles are legit with the perfect mouthfeel and chewiness. I swapped the lettuce for bok choy (so glad I did that). That garlic sauce and spicy pork were delicious! The pork was tender and well marinated - the flavor and seasonings had penetrated all the way through. I did wish there was more of it as the ratio of pork to noodles was off. Maybe next time I will ask for another helping of the pork. read more

COVID-19 TAKEOUT I've been trying to chill on the carbs. Ok, who I'm a kidding. Lies. But, I do "try". Like by picking off pizza toppings to eat. C+ for effort? Then, QQ Noodle comes into my life and they had me eating several days' worth of carbs in 15 minutes. Had they not posted their nutrition facts for each noodle bowl (150+ g of carbs per serving), I would have returned next day for another bowl of carby deliciousness. Damn y'all for being so transparent. With COVID, it's given me an opportunity to work through my 800 bookmarks so this time it's QQ Noodle. After being closed for over 6 months, QQ Noodle reopened for COVID takeout in late October with a limited menu (6 apps and 9 housemade noodle items). They're also on 3rd party delivery apps but the prices are hella inflated (+$5 more for noodle items). CASH ONLY. Other reviews mentioned they accept Venmo but they don't. I really hope they consider accepting Venmo consistently. It's more money in their pocket as some customers won't be limited to what cash they have in their pockets. Hello, larger tips too! I would have ordered 3 more apps had they accepted Venmo. The biang biang noodles were perfectly thick, chewy, and satisfying. The lean pork was tender and flavorful. The garlic sauce was robust with garlicky piquancy and a mild kick of heat (wish it was spicier). The iceberg lettuce provided a fresh cooling crunch. Addictive; I inhaled the entire box in the parking lot. Compared to Noodleosophy, hearty portion for the price. You won't leave hangry. * Braised Beef Noodle Soup ($13.76) Not my order but I did try some of the beef stew which was meaty and meltingly tender. The thin noodles were excellent, probably the best ones I've had...al-dente with a great elasticity and qq chew. We mixed the leftover noodles in the hot oil from the tendon app for another meal. S E R V I C E Friendly, fast, and efficient. I placed my order in person in case there was any language barriers (Mandarin), I can just point to the pictures. I was the only customer there so I waited near outside near the doorway and watched the kitchen diligently churn out phone orders. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. Overall, I loved QQ Noodle, the apps and housemade noodles are delicious, satisfying, and wallet-friendly. The plastic bowls are GONE! Served in REAL China bowls now. Service is the best ..... so is the beef noodle soup😁😁😁😁😁

Yes. Also, you can ask them to make other dishes less spicy.
