Located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. We were seated right away, no wait on a weeknight. We made sure to bring cash, because they are cash only. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and my partner had the tomato and eggs noodles. Extremely flavorful and delicious. Definitely one of the top noodle spots in the area! Portions are generous as well. Service was prompt, no complaints. We will be back!
Located in strip mall in Cupertino, a little off of busy DeAnza Blvd. They only accept cash or Venmo (minus 1/2 star), so be prepared. I ordered spicy beef noodle soup, and you can choose light, or extra spice. I got light spice, but in hindsight, I should have stuck with regular because there was simply no burn. The beef is tenderized perfectly - nice and soft, bok choy and noodles are excellent, well portioned, not over or underdone. Broth is savory and fresh. Overall, an excellent example of traditional beef noodle soup. I tasted some of the spicy fish soup as well - a little odd how the meat is fried and then put into a soup base, but somehow it works. The fish is soft and flavorful. Cold cucumber and veggie plate - I liked the cucumber better - more flavor and easier to chew. Crisp and cruncy. The pea shoots in the veggie plate was a little fibrous and difficult to chew/swallow. Service is as you would expect for this area - their focus is on turnover so don't expect any red carpets being rolled out. Menu is by QR code, again to speed things up and why bother starting any conversations. For that, go elsehwere. Truly above 3 stars, but I'm rounding down. that's all...
I love coming here for the hot spicy fish noodle soup! I've been here a few times and i've always ordered this. The crispy fish batter soaks up the soup and it's delicious! The soup itself is light and the noodle texture is to die for! We also ordered the liangpi and my boyfriend thought it was pretty average (6/10). The meat in the meat burger (肉夹馍) was extremely juicy and tender, but the bread was a bit dry (7.5/10). We also tried the sliced beef in hot oil sauce and we both loved this dish! The hot oil sauce was extremely fragrant and flavorful, but not too spicy (10/10). We came here around 11:40am and the restaurant still had plenty of seats but the restaurant quickly got busy by 12pm.
Every time I come here I forget it's CASH ONLY!! x__x So I'm putting this upfront to warn y'all! I've eaten here a handful of times and it's always been pretty solid. I like that you have width options for the noodles. I always go for the wide noodles. Came here around 7pm on a weeknight and we were able to sit wherever we wanted. You order through a QR code on the table. The food comes out relatively quickly and hot. I got the Spicy Sour Pork Noodle Soup. I liked the sourness but I think I prefer the pickled preserved veggies in the Spicy Fish Noodle Soup better than the sour chopped veggies in mine. I wish both noodle soups came with more protein though. Overall a solid place to eat if you're craving hand pulled noodle soup
QQ Noodle serves delicious Chinese noodles. I like the Spicy Fish Noodle Soup I recently got over the hot oil noodles I got when I last came here in 2022. Even though I love sichuan noodles, I actually thought the hot oil noodles dish was unbalanced since the large amount of noodles overpowered the small amount of protein and veggies the dish came with. The spicy fish noodle soup had bok choy and spicy soup in it, so the dish was perfectly balanced and had a good spice level. The noodles are freshly made, and you can taste it when you bite into the bouncy noodles. The price is about $20 a bowl after tax and tip, so it's fair for the amount of high-quality food you get.
Pretty good noodles and soup! Service was great, quick and convenient and affordable. I got the mustard fish and wide noodles and liked the mild flavor, bur would probably do a smaller noodle next time because the volume was a bit overwhelming! The century egg and tofu was great, and I would love to get again.
This is my go-to comfort food spot! QQ Noodle offers generous portions at reasonable prices. I usually visit on weekday nights, and while the restaurant is busy, I'm always able to find a seat. The service is extremely efficient, and the waiters all speak Mandarin and English. This is definitely a bustling restaurant, so be prepared for a loud and fun ambiance, with lots of families! Every single noodle dish that I've tried here features homemade, chewy noodles. I've never had such fresh noodles before! My favorite is the house special sour and spicy noodle with pork. The sauce is super savory but not overly salty. The pork pieces are cooked to perfection, and I love the small pieces of daikon and carrots on the side. The beef noodle soup is another favorite, always warm and cozy with an umami broth. I've come here innumerable times, and I always look forward to my next visit.
It was so delicious I genuinely was about to order a 2nd dish. You have to get the special hot oil noodle it's just so good. I have also tried the pork garlic before but I feel like that's not what their as known for so you have to do the hot oil noodle if you want a dry noodle or the beef noodle soup if you want a wet noodle. I think #10 and #20 are the most popular dishes from looking around the restaurant. Ugh I am craving this again as I write this review because I'm thinking about how QQ the noodle was and how delicious the sauce was. Can't wait to come back, QQ noodle. You order from your phone and pay with cash, don't forget! It's weird it's 2025 and you still only accept cash, but it works for them I guess. Food came out really fast. No wait for a weekday dinner.
Cash only. The noodle here is beyond what I've ever tasted. It's so chewy, soft, and tangy? I loved every bite and I want to come back. Food came out quickly and ambiance was much like a local mom and pop restaurant vibe. The beef was so soft and tasty. The soup for the spicy beef noodle was actually really clear and flavorful. Can't wait to come back!
I came to have lunch with some friends around 12:45pm on a Saturday afternoon. It was a full house, every table was taken. My first time trying this noodle place. It was not bad. I ordered the fish with mustard wide noodle soup dish. I also tried pig's ears and tofu with thousand year old eggs. My friends enjoyed their noodle soup dishes as well. Overall, I would come back and try other dishes. The restaurant atmosphere is not too bad. There is separate gender restrooms available for customers to use.
CASH ONLY! Really delicious chewy noodles! The texture is amazing, especially if you get the wide noodles. It's not too thick, and very fresh and chewy, exactly how noodles should be. Their toppings, however, needs some work. I absolutely love tomato eggs, and while it's probably not their best option here, I hope to see them improve their tomato eggs topping more in the future. I would love to come back and try some of their more famous or flavorful toppings since their noodles are so good! The pig ears appetizer was also really good and helped add more flavor to the noodles. The place is very big and has a lot of seating, but it did fill up quickly after opening!
This is one of my favorite places to eat at in Cupertino. QQ Noodle is a no frills, causal and quick service place. Don't let that fool you though. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. There is a QR code at each table and you scan to place your order. The waiters will then bring your food out to you. The food comes out quick and delicious. What we ordered: Liang Pi: This is one of my favorite dishes and not many places make this anymore. QQ Noodles makes my favorite Liang PI and this is a dish I will always order if I see it on the menu in both North Cal and NYC. The noodles are bouncy, the cucumbers refreshing and just the right level of spice. No frills deliciousness. Sour Mustard and Grass Fish Noodle Soup: I tried it with wide noodle but next time I think I will get the round. The wide noodles are hand pulled which have that great texture and chew. It is done well so there is not a mouthful of dough like some other places. Fish is plentiful and so is the portion of sour mustard. Large Plate Chicken Noodles (No Bone). Not on their printed menu, this was an option when you scan the QR code. They use chicken thighs and its braised with potato. Flavorful and just the right level of spice thats too spicy but offers a little kick for flavor. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by for a quick meal. TP tea in the same strip mall is also a wonderful Bubble tea place that makes their drinks with brewed tea.

QQ Noodle is my FAVORITE restaurant in the world. I don't even know how to express how much I love and recommend this place. The duo of QQ Noodle + TP Tea defined a perfect afternoon for my friends and me in high school. Every time I am back in the Bay Area, I make sure to come to QQ Noodle. Any friend who visits me gets taken to QQ Noodle. I cried actual tears when they closed during COVID-19 and was back the first day they reopened. When I didn't have a chance to dine in due to only having a short time in the area, I took it to-go on my plane. I adore this place. I always get the House Special Sour & Spicy w/ Pork Noodle. They have both a wet and dry option; I usually get the wet option since I like to take the leftover broth home to get a round 2. The noodles are incredibly QQ as the name suggests; they're perfectly cooked, chewy, and glistening. The soup is astounding. It's so flavorful and is a combination of being sour, spicy, salty, and acidic. The pork an vegetables are cut so well in cute little squares and are great for both texture and taste. If you go during peak meal times, there can be a wait, but the turnover of tables is pretty fast. Parking is super easy since there's a huge lot. The service is surprisingly good; the employees are very quick but kind. The overall ambiance is kind of sterile but welcoming and comforting somehow. My favorite place for noods! Straight forward, to the point service with the best comfort noodles and soups. Flavor is on perfect. I much prefer the Cupertino location over the Milpitas one, even though it's closer to home. You can choose what type/size noodles you want. You can never go wrong with beef noodle soup. read more
Lived in San Jose for 5 years now but just got around to trying this place. I have always heard great things about QQ Noodle so I was pretty excited and had high expectations. I came in on a Saturday around 1:30pm and it was pretty crowded but still had a couple tables open so our party of 4 were seated right away! Menu was straight to the point, had pictures next to each dish so it made ordering easy. I got the Garlic Hand Pulled Noodle with Pork. It was so delicious and flavorful! Noodles were thick and the perfect amount of chewy. 5/5 I was very satisfied with this meal and would definitely come back again! read more

I haven't had a bowl of beef noodle soup like this since my last trip to Taiwan. One thing that caught my eye was that nutrition facts for each dish are on the menu. Food: The noodles had a perfect chew. The broth was hot but not scalding. The beef was tender. Portion size was generous. Service: Quick and efficient The vibe is casual. Honestly, coming here is mostly about the texture and chewiness of the hand-pulled noodles (at least for me). For the garlic pork dish, there is a simple yet large portion of noodles, meat sauce, and sliced cabbage. Although simple, this is a very pleasurable meal. It is important that the dish is mixed well; otherwise, the sauce on its own is too salty and the noodles lack flavor. Yummy like always! The noodle dishes here are really good even for someone who prefers rice over noodles. I think the seasoning is done very well and the textures and flavors of the different elements of each dish is really good. I don't like the fact that you can't pay with card because every time my friends and I are craving it, we struggle to come up with cash because a lot of us just bring cards around. The service is great and there's a lot of seating inside although it is a little bit warm in the summertime and their AC isn't strong. Worst experience I've ever had. We waited a bit for this restaurant to open again at 5pm. They take cash only and you have to go ATM at Walgreens to withdraw ($4 fee is required). We were not really happy. I give them 2 stars only for the food and zero for the service or atmosphere. Also, Idk if he was a manager or an owner, he kept yelling at staff so loudly. Everyone in the restaurant could hear their conversation. I could say spicy dry noodle was okay. Overall, it could've been better. I don't think I will come back again. read more

CASH ONLY! Hen QQ. Very QQ indeed. Don't go to a Chinese place expecting good service. However, the service here was pretty good all things considered. Water was constantly refilled as staff is rushing around. Food is extremely filling despite the appearance. Expected to want more food after but I was pretty full. Loved that they have nutritional information available on the menu, definitely a shock especially since it's a Chinese spot. We grabbed #10 and #24, which were X and Y. Overall, akin to an authentic, hearty home cooked meal and kind of close to experiences in Taiwan! #10 Hot & Spicy Beef Stew Noodle Soup - beef noodle soup was my childhood growing up and it's still my go-to home cooked meal. This was almost on par with the noodles in Asia but definitely one of the best I've had in the states. Super chewy noodles and extremely tender beef. The beef was the highlight but the noodles were definitely up there. Broth was solid with a fairly rich flavor but a bit watered down. #4 Garlic Sauce w/ Pork Noodle - I wanted to try their biang biang noodles which led to this and they were very chewy and QQ. Mixing required a bit of effort though. This was spicier than the spicy beef noodle soup. Meat was good, but the star of the show was the hand pulled noodles. read more

This small restaurant does not get the credit deserved. The noodles are amazing here and provided to you quickly. The price is more than fair for the portion they provide. It's cash and Venmo payment only. The service is top notch the gentleman greeted us and attended to us quickly. We love this spot for family days. Highly recommended! I loved QQ Noodle so much! I didn't know the noodles were handmade before I went, but it makes sense because they were the best noodles I've ever had. It was also my first time trying liangpi, and I was surprised by how much I loved it--the cold aspect and the tofu were amazing. I also really enjoyed the spicy beef noodles. The wide and thick noodles are so good! I can see why people love this place! Plus, the picnic-style tables inside are so cute for dining, and just a heads-up--it's cash only! read more
Still a favorite, even after Covid. It looks like they slimmed down their menu to cut down to cost, but most favorites are still there. If you love spicy, this place is great! (Yes there are also no spicy dishes as well). The noodles are soo chewy, yummy, and filling. It gets pretty busy here for lunch but turnover is pretty good. Came here for lunch because this is my cousin's go-to in the area. FLAVOR (4.5/5): 1. #24 GARLIC SAUCE W/PORK NOODLE: My cousin got the Special Oil Hot Noodle (#20) because she says it soaks up the flavor of the sauce better. I agree, but I still prefer the chewiness of the wider noodles in #24. The sauce was nutty and super savory! SERVICE (4/5): Service was good! AMBIENCE (3/5): Casual sit-down place. Good for lunch. PARKING (4/5): The lot is big because it's a strip mall. TAKEAWAYS: Yummy! The portion sizes are big, so I ended up taking half home to share with family. My second time here was exactly as I was expecting. Still cash only; I did not try asking for a Venmo option. Service has gotten better - before my party ordered up front and then sat down, but this time we were given a table and got to sit and look through a menu with more options than I remember when they were just reopening after COVID. The definition of hole in the wall. I get shy with ordering because everything looks good but I also am not familiar with these dishes... I've come to the conclusion that whatever you order, it'll be great. There wasn't any dine in seating at the time we went. You order and take out, so we ate in the car. We got some flat noodles with spicy pork sauce. You have to mix it all together before eating so you get the perfect bite each time. The noodles are sooooo chewy in the best way possible. I wish this place was not so far from us, because we'd probably go a lot more frequently. If you are in the area, this is a must try! read more

We came here on a weekday morning and we were seated promptly. There is sufficient parking as it is located in a small plaza. The ambiance was very lively and busy. The server took some time to take our order but food came out after a short wait. I ordered the Hot & Spicy Fish Noodle Soup, which was delicious. It was not very spicy, but the noodles were very chewy and flavorful. The fish was the best part - slightly crispy on the outside but very soft on the inside and they tasted great! The broth was delicious as well but not very spicy. You can also get some complimentary warm tea upon request (not mentioned on the menu). The portion size was really big for the price and 100% worth it! The portion size is big enough for 2 people to share. Overall, I had a great experience eating here and will be back in the future to try other items on the menu! read more
Visited this restaurant on a Thursday night for dinner en route home. I figured I would have a long drive either way and decided to enjoy dinner and explore a new place in the meanwhile. Service was pretty fast, and there were several people buying food to-go. I ordered their spicy beef noodle soup. The soup was flavorful, and not as oily as I thought it would be (beef and chili oil and all). The noodles were al dente, and the portion just right. The soup made me shed a tear or two since it was spicy and temperature hot. It was perfect for the cool night! We arrived on a Friday evening at around 6:30pm and there was no wait. However, later on in our meal, the restaurant definitely filled up and it looked like there was a bit of a line to get in. We started out with the pig ears which were flavorful but not as great in terms of texture as I typically prefer. Then, we got the hot oil noodles and the garlic sauce w/ pork noodles. Both were delicious, and the noodles here are definitely QQ with that bouncy / al dente quality to them. I probably liked the garlic sauce w/ pork noodles a bit more because I'm a sucker for handmade wide noodles :) Everything here is served in plastic containers which makes for easy take out and easy clean up but definitely not great for the environment... read more

Solid 4 stars The beef noodle soup was clean hearty and noodles were chewy in a great way. The garlic pork dish was delicious, but the lettuce was a different taste but all good. This place had been on my list for a while, and on my way to SJSU I knew I needed to stop here. We didn't realize it was cash only (ALERT! It's cash only!) despite it being written everywhere online. Luckily, one of the other customers was nice enough to let us venmo him for cash. QQ Noodles is a casual restaurant that was bustling with sit down customers and to-go orders. Even with the constant flow of customers, service was great. I got the garlic pork noodles and an iced tea, and my friend got the hot oil noodles and a Diet Coke. We were both SO happy with our choices. These are some of the best handmade noodles I've had, for a great price too. Very glad to have made the trek down from San Francisco for these. read more
Glad to see this location wasn't too busy when we stopped by for a weekday lunch. Food: love their hand pulled noodles! Also love how they let you request a specific kind of noodle for any dishes on the menu. The hand pulled noodles were wide and al-dente, smooth and chewy, my favorite! I got the Garlic Hand Pulled Noodles recommended by the staff. The seasoning was good but not flavorful enough, so it's a 4/5. Service: quick and attentive. They were also very accommodating - we asked to sub the other kind of noodles with the hand pulled noodles, and my friend who's vegetarian asked if they could remove the meat from one dish. QQ -- the famed texture of plump boba, fresh fish balls, and certain noodles. This restaurant is named QQ Noodle for good reason! We came late on Friday night with no line. Ordered hot spicy fish noodle and garlic sauce with pork -- both were fantastic, but the hot spicy fish noodle was my favorite! The noodles were so, so good -- such fantastic texture with a hot, spicy broth and lots of fish. Staff was attentive and efficient. No frills, cash only, QQ goodness. QQ Noodle has given my life meaning. Never again do I need to decide what to eat because I can consistently return to the #20. I've been going to QQ for years and have only been ordering the #20... except last week when I tried the tomato and egg noodle, which was amazing as well and gave me something to think about for the next few hours. This place has the chewiest and best hand pulled noodles I've ever seen. I've lived in China for 3 years and nothing compares to the flavors that QQ brings to my mouth. I'm actually so happy that Cupertino has a QQ because otherwise there would be nothing to do in the Bay Area. The #20 is the pinnacle of culinary achievement (extra spice) and has had an everlasting impact on my life. Thank you qq. Your noodles are amazing. read more
Door says they close at 2:30pm (Zest a couple doors down says 2:30 but wouldn't take any customers even at 2:15pm).... But they seemed to accept customers even later than 2:30 since they didn't turn away a family who came in later. Good homemade noodles with chew! First time here since pre-pandemic, and the menu is more limited, but still has the favorites. They serve in disposable plastic bowls and disposable chopsticks now instead of the reusable kind. We ordered the tomato egg noodles (dry), braised beef stew noodles (soup), and jia zhang mien (dry). Their jia zhang is more savory than sweet. They offer kids' bowls and plastic ware (fork and spoon), so that makes it easier to dine with children. The chairs are nice and stable too! (The employees were eating the braised beef noodle soup for their lunches too!) read more
This place is excellent in all ways. It's easy to find parking anywhere in the plaza as it is in many areas of Cupertino. The service is fast and simple and I come here solely for the food. Typically, it can get crowded on weekends and peak hours (between 12pm and 1:30 pm for lunch; between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm for dinner) so you might have to wait. As for the food itself, it is standout. The type of hand-pulled noodles and the flavor of the food is hard to come by in South Bay and I sincerely wish there were more of these. If you like the flavor of Xi'An type noodles, this is the best place you could be. read more

It was good and enjoyed my bok Choy in it but wasn't as good as the garlic noodles. Minus one star because Cash only is a bit rough. I got the special hot oil noodles and I can confidently say this is my favorite noodle place I've ever had. The hot oil and sauce was so flavorful and coated the noodles and meat perfectly. Each bite was perfect and the addition of bok choy was very refreshing. Just be aware, they are cash/venmo only, but that would not stop me from coming back again. read more

This is the perfect place to go to for amazing hand pulled noodles. My ultimate recommendation is the thick noodles with garlic sauce and pork. It's an oily not too spicy dish that's sweet and very tasty. You can replace the cabbage for bok Choy which is what I like to do. Their hot spicy beef noodle soup is also very good. I think it's on the spicier side so be cautious! The servers are kind but I didn't interact with them that much. There is a ton of seating but they're always relatively crowded. I've never had to wait and I usually come at around opening/lunch time. read more

This place definitely lives up to the hype. The texture of the hand pulled noodles are probably the best I've ever had. It's super thick and chewy. I got the special hot oil noodles, and it is very spicy. It came with seasoned pork and bokchoy. Overall I thought it was a very balanced meal in terms of the amount of noodles, vegetables, and meat that I got. The portion is huge, and the price is great. I definitely want to come back and try their other noodles! One thing to note is that they don't take card so make sure to bring cash! read more

The plastic bowls are GONE! Served in REAL China bowls now. Service is the best ..... so is the beef noodle soup😁😁😁😁😁

I like to get the Hot Oil noodles and I just ask for no meat and extra bok choy :).

Yes. Also, you can ask them to make other dishes less spicy.

Yes they have a few dishes like the classic soft tofu as well as the classic noodles with egg/Chives.
We like the handpulled dry noodles with pork in hot chili oil sauce - is there a restaurant in San Francisco with this dish (or similar)?
