Wanted to update my review since it's been 3 yrs. This place is under new ownership and it's still amazing. None of the items I ate tasted any different than they did with the previous owners 3 yrs ago--which was a pleasant surprise. They are a very hard working small business that has also incorporated Mitchell's ice cream on the other half of the restaurant. So glad I don't need to go to SF and stand in that line when there's no line here for the same ice cream. Overall, I highly recommend you check them out and my favorite thing to get is the Lamb/Beef Mixed Quesadilla.

I've had Q's several times now. I've tried their gyro wrap as well as their pizza. The gyro was great, and with the waffle fries it's an excellent meal. But that pizza, so good. Super thin, and gets nice and crispy when tossed in the oven. I'm a fan of the Mary's pizza. Having gyro meat on a pizza is one of those combinations that makes you wonder why more places don't offer it. It's a family run joint as well, which is always preferred over chains. What seals this place as a bonafide 5 star joint is they carry Mitchell's ice cream, aka the GOAT. Now, if only they'd make a tikka masala pizza...

Orders the chicken Tikka Masala plate and the Gyro plate.... Food was really good just the right amount of spices... in addition they have Mitchell's ice cream from San Francisco. Great service!

Not only is it the wrong pizza, Barely any pepperoni on it, they're being cheap for nothing and are going to lose business over it

Have gone here for a long time, I don't know what happened to this place. The ingredients are different or someone different is working here. I ordered extra large veggie and added pepperoni and also a large cheese pizza. I was delivered two stale and cold pizzas. There was barely any sauce on it. The dough tasted cold and stale cheese was different. Almost tasted like old ingredients. They did not make me a veggie pizza they just did pepperoni on it and it was BARELY any pepperoni. This place is not the same. They are being cheap on ingredients and cheap on their pizzas now. Won't be going back.

Just wanted to say that Q's Halal Pizza is still amazing!!! I order on the phone and pick up. There is always street parking available right in front to park and run in. Pizza is always ready when they say it will be and service is always kind and with a smile. When I mentioned before that they have a good sized pizza I meant it! Their small is 14" (normal smalls are around 10" I think). Medium is 16", they also offer large and extra large! I got my usual - pepperoni (beef), mushroom and pineapple. Yes, pineapple. So good!! Note the pricing is slightly increased from what I see online but still worth it in my opinion! Thanks Q's Halal! See you next time!

This place is open for dining in. Not super fancy place, but pretty good. I have had chicken wrap with fries. Meat was super delicious and there were only fresh veggies in the wrap. Also I really liked the fries. Come check this place out if you are looking for a good halal place.

I'm from the El Sobrante area and was craving pizza, but I hate always going to franchise places because they never have beef pepperoni. I finally looked up a local pizza place and found Halal Pizza! The pizza is really good especially the beef pepperoni on it, definitely will be going back for pizza and to try other options they have on the menu! Only reason I gave a 4 is because I love thicker dough for the crust and they make thin crust pizza, and it's hard to find parking on the street, always full in that area when I'm there.

Absolutely disgusting ! I have had a pizza here many years ago and it was good. Tonight it was horrible . 1 hour delivery for a cold, raw dough/crust flavorless mess.. after trying to finish cooking it, It found the garbage can where it belongs. Thankfully, grub hub refunded my payment.

So good! I had an excellent experience with halal pizza at another juke joint in Berkeley and when we had a pizza craving one Friday night, my guy and I opted to try this place to see if the common denominator to bomb pizza is the halal life. This was one of the smartest decisions we've made since getting a dog. It was that good. So we ordered a half pep, half cheese pie that seemed somewhat pricey but hey, ya get what you pay for... Mostly. Add this to the list of times I've been glad I spent a few extra bucks to have quality put first. Plus, the pizza was a little larger than I expected, which made up for the price. But don't worry, that pizza being somewhat massive didn't prevent us from chowing 'til we met cardboard. Oh, and they've got more than pizza, too. Wraps and whatnot. I might try one next time, but to be honest I'll probably be tempted by the tantalizing taste of a big ol' halal slice.

Convo pizza is a must For $21 you can purchase a small pizza "16 which would be an X-large at round tables or mountain mikes for about $32 Unbelievable deal The pizza had about 16 slices + extremely cheesy- awesome tomato sauce and gyro lamb !!! I mean it tastes like sausage but it's lamb!!! Annnd I asked if they can make 1/4 of the pizza cheese ( mort places only do 1/2 and 1/2) I'm never going back to round tables ever !

Came in at 7:30, they said they were closed even though they don't actually close at 8... but we were still able order some gyros. Two chicken gyro meals included side of either waffle cut fries or salad and a drink. Extra $4 for combo/meal, so $12 each meal. The gyros were tasty. It was fresh and smelled delicious! I like the acidity from their green sauce. Too bad we didn't get any white sauce since we had to order to go. Overall, I was pleased and I'll be coming back to try their other menu options. However, just wished they stayed true to their hours.

I stopped by on a mini road trip and had the gyro wrap and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and the food was delicious. The tzatziki was an amazing compliment to the lamb meat. Very flavor and would absolutely recommend to a friend. Thanks! read more

I have no access to halal food so whenever I am in town, I always comes to Q's! It's one of the first restaurants my husband and I look forward to eating at. Their pizza, chicken philly, and chicken gyro are absolutely delicious. Such a great find in this area! read more

Lil place on busy & very diverse section of San Pablo Ave. Everything from ethnic markets & restaurants to discount tire shops & laundromats. Never had a problem with parking though & the food is worth any inconvenience you might encounter. Fast, friendly service of delicious well-prepared fresh food. I recently had the gyro wrap which was loaded with grilled lamb/beef, lettuce, onions, tomatoes & taziki sauce all wrapped in a warm grilled naan / pita bread. I ordered the spicy version but it wasn't that hot, but they had extra hot sauce on the table which gave it a nice kick. I've also had the halal chicken wings which were also delicious. The portions are large & the prices are incredibly good. I rarely give 5-stars, but this place is right up there. read more

My husband and I are in California on vacation. While driving down for the Armstrong redwoods national park down to LA we came across Q's Halal Pizza and I got to say the food was amazing. The costumer service was the icing on top. Great place I recommend the chicken falafel. Enjoy! read more

Scrolling through Yelp I come across this place and so today I gave it a try. It was really good. Yeah you have to drive to "da hood" to get there. But ain't that's where the best food is anyway? Ok, so I ordered the chicken philly meal that came with seasoned waffle cut fries and a drink. The sandwich was Huge! Plenty of tasty chicken. With every bite, chicken fell out from the pita bread. I ran out of pita bread and finished it with a fork. I didn't think I could eat it all, but it was so good I did. The chicken was seasoned well and was not dry at all. I would have liked more cheese, peppers, and onions but that's just me. I love loads of those things; but for most, the amount given would be perfectly fine. The place is small, just three small tables and 4 chairs at the counter. Most orders while I was there were take out. The service was super friendly. I recommend taking a trip down here. I didnt have the pizza, but it looked good and the people in front of me seemed to really enjoy it. I say give this place a try and be prepared to be full and satisfyed. read more

Best pizza in Richmond! They have some very unique pizza here that is to die for. They incorporate lamb meat into their combo pizza and it is amazing. The sizes of the pizzas are ridiculous. The large is more like a XX-Large. Very friendly service read more

Saw the great reviews and stopped by to pick up a spicy gyro wrap to go. Fresh, crisp veggies in the gyro, generous amount of meat, perfect level of spice, absolutely delicious and left me wanting to try other menu items very soon. Highly recommended! read more

This place is amazing. The customer service is super appreciative. A note would be to call in advance, because it can get packed on the weekends. The owner, Sam, is a wonderful man he is very welcoming. This restaurant is a great addition to our community. The young lady at the front/ register is very sweet as well. The place is a bit small, but doesn't do the place justice. Would recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work and wonderful service. read more

Combo pizza is pretty big and so good tasty and unique. Can't get lamb on a pizza anywhere else! The pizza was good size for a medium. Can feed up to 4 people well and full. This place deserves another visit. Their food is great and well priced read more

We love this place! If you are looking for great, fresh Mediterranean food you have to check out Q's! The place is very clean and people are super friendly. The food. Was. Delicious!! I had the combo plate which was a chicken kabob and gyro. My boyfriend had the gyro (he went back for a second lol) and fries. The portions are very generous; my combo was lunch and dinner. I can't wait to go back and try the falafel and hot wings and whatever else they recommend! read more

I just wish the breading had been a little crispier. The gravy was definitely a highlight though. The hashbrowns had good flavor but were a little soft in the middle compared to how crispy I personally like them. Now the pancake... HUGE. Basically plate-sized. The sweet cream batter already gives it sweetness on its own, but once you add butter and syrup it really takes it over the top. Overall, a really good breakfast and definitely a solid option for breakfast or lunch in the area. They can get busy, but if there's a wait it's worth sticking around for.

Most of their customers are people who are coming here during their office lunch break during the weekdays. I noticed it was very quiet on a weekend. The guy working here didn't ask me if I wanted my slice to go or for here and just put it in a to go box. Eating it in the restaurant was not pleasant as the guy had DJ music blasting across the restaurant while he was working in the kitchen. He should have offered to turn it down for me. The pizza itself was just okay, about what you would get at like 7-11,v definitely not as good as a slice from the Costco food court. They only had cheese and pepperoni by the slice and I selected pepperoni. They may have good pizza here if you custom order your toppings, I don't know. I'm certainly not rushing to return back here but am glad I gave them a try out. Low customer service effort here.

After contemplating a few different slice ideas, we agreed to split a butter chicken pizza. It was freshly made, hot and delicious. Great flavor, stretchy melted cheese, thin crust, but thick enough to hold up to the toppings and stay crispy. The owners were also delightful - super friendly and welcoming.
