I had the meat lovers pizza and the chicken wings. They said it would be 45 minutes but it was more like 20 minutes and I put in the wrong address. So kudos to them. The wings were amazing. I am picky about my wings, and these were delicious. The pizza was good. It wasn't the best I've ever had. It's thin, which I like. The crust is really good. (I like crusts, idk why). Very Good, Hot and Fast! Extremely Friendly Family Owned Businesses! We were in Old Town Alexandria for my husband's business trip. Being summer vacation I was able to come along with our 3 children. I am new to the Alexandria area and found this fantastic delivery restaurant. I was happy that the website offered the option to order online as it was simple and allowed me the time to ponder what I wanted to eat. I am a person with healthy eating habits, so I was hesitant about ordering the Grilled Salmon, baked rice and vegetable plate. I am happy to say that this is by far the best Salmon I have had outside of my own kitchen! No joke, it is tender and the temperature is just right. The flavor is great and the baked rice? WOW! We called to ask if there was gluten free pasta and the man who answered the phone (and very well may have been the owner and/or chef) said yes. We let him know we had to call back to place an order and he offered to start the pasta because it has to be handmade. How thoughtful! He then said he could make the Alfredo gluten free if we could give him a little extra time. We also ordered a gluten free pesto chicken pizza and fries (not gluten free). All of it was amazing. Over the years, this is been my go to place for pizza in Old Town. Even though it's a bit off the beaten path for the main Old Town drag, it's really close to the metro and convenient for the Carlyle area. Five stars here! We go here often and for many years because the pizza is the best in Alexandria with fresh and delicious ingredients. The people who own this place always greet us with a warm smile. Since this is on Duke Street in Alexandria they are surrounded by office buildings which are now empty so maybe you can help them during these difficult times. I love that they have nice tables outside, as well as a small pizza, so you can actually gather with a few friends, socially distanced, and each person can enjoy a pizza they like. These face south so sun is plentiful. There is parking in the streets around there. And it's very close to the King Street Metro stop. Fantastic experience! We asked to have a birthday party there in early December for my daughter as we were staying in the Embassy Suites nearby. I ordered delivery from here. I had the calamari, a calzone and a piece of cheesecake. The calamari was average, could've easily been better with more flavor and less bread crumbs in the batter. The calzone was really good though. The dough tasted fresh, the sauce was good, veggies were fresh and flavorful too. They allow you to add ingredients in the calzone for just a few bucks more which is a good option. The calzones are big and filling so I had my cheesecake the next day. The cheesecake was more sweet that cheesy to me so if you like that then you should order the cheesecake, not for my taste though. read more

Just discovered this great spot that is family owned! I stared with a simple pie with pepperoni last weekend and it was awesome. Tonight I tried the baked ziti along with another pepperoni pie. On one instance, we ordered a pizza and were planning to dine in and made this known. After sitting down and beginning to eat, we were asked to leave because "its time to clean up". That is awful customer service and offensive. On our second visit, we ordered pizza to go (least we be forced to leave). Upon arriving at home, we see that our pizza is burnt, also tasted a slice to see if looks were deceiving. We immediately called to inform them of our burnt or in the managers words "crispy" pizza. We were told that they would only take the pizza back if we had not touched it. These two instances of lacking customer service and OK food are reason enough to never visit this place again. My fiancée and I stopped by late last night about an hour or so before closing time. The decor isn't anything to write home about, but the location and the food were excellent. She got a personal pizza, and I went with the chicken Alfredo. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great! Chicken Alfredo is usually just a safe option, but to me, there was something special about it. And the portion size was perfect for what we paid. We were the only ones there, but the owner was very nice, and came to check on us several times while we were eating. We really enjoyed the personal attention to make sure we were happy.
