    Crème brûlée

I made reservations here via OpenTable and because my husband and I just eloped we wanted to celebrate our wedding dinner here. I requested a view of the Queen Mary. Although we had a window view, we weren't quite facing the ship. We were facing more towards the lighthouse. And I was kind of disappointed. But because it was a weekday and the tables by the window left early, our server let me get some pictures of the view of the ship. We were seated right away. We already knew what we wanted to order. I noticed they had zero proof alcohol and I was excited about that. I ordered a cucumber crush. It tasted more minty than cucumbery to me. We then started off with bread in the house then ordered 1/2 dozen oysters. Mmm the oysters we so delicious. It came with a side of horseradish, cocktail sauce, and vinegar. Our server, JJ, recommended the prime beef carpaccio. My husband isn't a fan of raw meat, but when he tried this with all the side toppings of the mustard-yuzu aioli, crispy shallots, capers, and maitake mushrooms on top of a cheese toast, he loved it. The capers and crispy shallots and toast give this dish texture and brings out the flavor of the beef carpaccio. My husband and I got the surf n turf. He ordered the 30 day dry-aged bone in ribeye and I got the 6 oz lobster tail with a side of Brussels sprouts. My husband got his ribeye medium rare. He said it was delicious. It cut so smooth and easy, like butter and was well seasoned. The lobster seemed a little too fine for me, but it was delicious with the butter and lemon provided. The Brussels sprouts were tasty, however we didn't care for the Gorgonzola cheese and ended picking it out. Our server JJ was so kind and provided excellent service. We were the last ones there and he was still able to provide us with a celebratory dessert of crème brûlée. And even took great pictures of us. I definitely recommend this place if you wanna have a beautiful fancy date night.

We came here for my son-in-law's birthday. We ordered lobster and steak, filet mignon, 2 salmon. NY steak and lobster pappardelle, Brussels sprouts, mashed potato, fries, spicy hot halibut roll and butter cake. Everything tasted good. Steak and salmon perfectly cooked. Service is good. Everybody is attentive to your needs. Good view.

    The night view, spectacular

So first time here, very nice place. The food was very good. I will say I asked for the steak medium it arrived medium rare. So couldn't finish the steak it was grossing me out. Besides that everything else was awesome. The view, the music, the whole atmosphere was great. I will say the AC must not have been working that day cause it was hot up there.

First time here and in LOVE! Happily it was a quiet Sunday night so the restaurant was relaxed. It is stunning, the third floor of the lighthouse is beautiful with amazing views and ambiance. There was a piano player who took our request for Tiny Dancer too! :) Now, the food was excellent. Literally I have no notes! The service was out of this world! We saw the manager a few times and were served complimentary champagne, beef carpaccio and fried asparagus. Additionally our server, Kaylee was top notch and oh so sweet! I can't wait to have an occasion to come back!

Steakhouse located in an old lighthouse in downtown Long Beach. The first two floors are a casual restaurant, but the steakhouse is located on the top floor. The views are absolutely beautiful. The views are of downtown, the harbor, and even the historic Queen Mary ship. I came here for my spouse's 50th birthday. We had a beautiful table and even a signed card from the waitstaff. I started with the wedge salad, which was delicious. For my meal I had the surf and turf sushi roll. The sushi was very good and filling. My spouse had the steak topped with crab meat. He also ordered the onion ring tower, which she could not finish, but said it was really good. There was live music playing, which was a nice touch. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to celebrate our one year anniversary!

If I could give more stars to a dining experience I would! We went to Queensview to celebrate a joint anniversary with our friends and were treated like royalty! (Fitting, with the name!) Parking is a breeze with a large paid lot, and they also validate parking. The venue is gorgeous and sprawling over three floors, with the steakhouse on the top floor. When we were seated (at our gorgeous table overlooking the Queen Mary!) we we delivered a card wishing us a happy anniversary signed by the staff. Our amazing server, Kaylee, came over immediately and greeted us and told us about the menu and walked us through everything. The manger brought us over the beef carpaccio appetizer and it was phenomenal-one of the best I've had in Long Beach. And if you are a bread-seeker like myself you will be pleased here as they offer sourdough and wheat rolls with TWO types of crave-worthy butter; honey and pecan, and it's amazing! Our drinks were served promptly and were perfection. We started with some yummy oysters and then I ordered the twin lobster tails and everyone else opted for steaks. They were all cooked perfectly and the manager and server checked on us to ensure our satisfaction. The sides here are great and large enough to share with a group. You can't skip the gratin potatoes! We also ordered the mushrooms and creamed corn and everything was amazing. There was also a live piano player in this gorgeous establishment who takes requests! I can't say enough about how highly i recommend this place! It's perfect for a special occasion or a romantic date night. Parker's lighthouse is the seafood restaurant downstairs that is a bit less fancy and has outdoor seating and offers great happy hour specials (I love their sushi!) The bathrooms are located on the second floor and are pristine and well-stocked. After you finish your meal make sure to snap some beautiful pics of the Queen Mary and take a stroll around Shoreline Village. Love this place!

The view is amazing. You have the docks, the village, the Queen Mary. It's just an overall nice atmosphere. One downside was that it was raining and water started coming down from the ceiling and splashed all over me and the table. They moved us to another table and eventually removed the one where we were originally seated, but I didn't like how there was no compensation for that experience. Our dinner was $400 pre-tip. The least they could have done was comped a dessert or a glass of wine. We shared the prime porterhouse for two with the mushrooms and scalloped potatoes. The sides were great, and the steak was flavorful, but it was more medium than medium rare, which is what we requested. The crab cake appetizer was wonderful, as was the bottle of the red blend we had, the old fashioned, and the butter cake. Besides the cook on the meat (which is kind of a big deal), the rest of the meal was delicious.

Food: 1/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 We had the chance to try the Mother's Day brunch. With choices of a main entree and seafood buffet. We had high hopes but left very disappointed. Something this restaurant does know is Salt! Heavy salt on crab legs, steak, Benedict. Second was wait time, for a filet that was overcooked and over salted. It took close to an hour from a somewhat of a prefix menu. Best thing I had was potatos and DIY Bloody Mary bar. Server was very nice and location was great. Food was a disaster

The food! Steak is the best!

What a beautiful place and immaculate service. The manager and staff did such a great job on making every guest feel so special. If you are thinking of celebrating a special occasion, this is the place. The food is delicious. My friend went here twice in one week. We got the special (Steak and prawns) and split it between 4 adults. Good value and the best steak I had in a really long time.

Had an amazing birthday experience here earlier this year! This has been a long waited review and I absolutely loved Queensview Steakhouse. It's super pricey but I think it was worth it for the one time. I would definitely go back with family or another special occasion. The parking lot at Shoreline Village gets super packed and it took us forever to park. You can get your ticket validated for a discount at whichever restaurant you visit. When we got to Queensview, if I'm not mistaken the first floor is Parker's Lighthouse, their sister restaurant that isn't as pricey? Then you take an elevator to Queensview! Super fortunate to have a front row seat to the harbor and the ocean view. Choosing a steak was the hardest part, it was between the filet mignon and Prime New York Steak. But I had to go with the filet mignon and it was so good. It actually wasn't cooked to perfection because it was very rare when I ordered medium but our waiter did a great job fixing it. I got this with fries on the side instead of mashed potatoes. My girlfriend got the Au Poivre Prime New York Steak and loved it. She loved the crispiness and the pepper seasoning. I tried it and loved it too. The best part was the Cognac cream sauce, had the consistency of a gravy and was so addicting to use on my fries and steak. I would recommend someone to get this sauce easily. On the side we also split the caesar salad without anchovies. It was a great touch and I would order this again to start out our meal. Wish I remembered our servers name but he was just awesome, really made my birthday special, thanks Queensview.

Went here again and this place has turned into our traditional anniversary go to spot our second year in a row coming to celebrate. And it was just as good as it was last year we even had JJ the same server we had last year. The food was amazing as usual had the porter house steak for two with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We had the bacon wrapped dates by recommendation by our server Jj and the did not disappoint. We also shared a Cesar salad and had a butter cake to close it out. The ambiance was perfect during golden hour with the accompaniment of a live jazz style band. This place has hit it out of the park yet again and can't wait to be back again next year to celebrate.

Waiter: Craig Y. - very nice. Food: Miso glazed Chilean Seabass was so delish!!! Drink: Bartenura Moscato Ambiance: like any steakhouse... dim. But lighting on table was good. Live instrumental band was good. Loud enough but Not terribly loud in here... if that makes any sense...

Ordered the ribeye med-rare. Color looked ok, but even the end-cap was dry. This is USDA select at best. Service was excellent.

A New Job, A New Milestone & A Chance to Rewrite the Narrative…read more My best friend and I have a tradition of celebrating new jobs with a nice dinner. Since this was her new job and a major milestone, I let her choose the restaurant. She had visited Bo-Beau last year but didn't get the full experience, so this was her chance to rewrite the narrative. And it was truly night and day. I researched the restaurant beforehand and was excited to see that Bo-Beau is part of the Cohn Restaurant Group, which I mostly associate with San Diego and South Orange County. After this experience, I really hope they're here to stay. I noted on our reservation that we were celebrating her new job, and for once, the restaurant actually read the note and acknowledged it. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was excellent. The hostess welcomed us downstairs, another staff member greeted us when we reached the rooftop, and our server quickly followed up. Then came the surprise: complimentary champagne for both of us. It was such a thoughtful gesture, especially because those little celebratory touches seem to be increasingly rare. Our server was also patient with our questions and attentive throughout the evening without being intrusive. We spent about 2.5 hours enjoying dinner and catching up over: Baked Brie Brussels Sprouts Steak Frites Everything was flavorful, and the entire experience felt relaxed, peaceful, and worth the price point. The food was great, but the hospitality is what earned the 5 stars for me. Real hospitality is paying attention to the guest, recognizing the occasion, and making people feel genuinely welcomed. My best friend got the celebration she wanted -- and a much better Bo-Beau experience this time around. Will definitely be returning!

Trying several items on the menu provided us a nice sampling of what they have to offer. We enjoyed everything we ordered. My favorite was probably the Brussel sprouts as they were cooked to perfection and not sweet like most restaurants serve them. A close 2nd was the chicken parmesan served over zucchini noodles. The final item ordered was a mushroom pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic with a light char and perfect flavoring. The pasta was good. It was a bit to spicy for me with the chili oil so I only had a small portion. The inside is simple yet inviting with an open layout. They seemed a bit short staffed, but every one was hustling and honestly we were well taken care of. What we didn't expect, but absolutely loved, was their R&B brunch experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was lively, fun, and full of energy. The music completely elevated the atmosphere. The food was so bad that we barely ate any of it. When we brought this to the manager's attention, instead of addressing the poor quality of the food, she immediately told us we still had to pay for it. At first, she only offered 10% off and a slice of birthday cake, which was honestly insulting considering we couldn't even eat the meal. What made the experience even worse was that she tried to justify the poor quality by saying we came in late and that the food isn't the same at that time. That's simply not an acceptable excuse. If a restaurant is open and serving customers, the quality of the food should be consistent no matter what time you walk in. After going back and forth, she eventually increased the discount to 50%, but still refused to remove the meal from the bill, even though we barely touched it because it was inedible. We weren't looking for a free meal--we just expected food that matched the quality a restaurant should serve and customer service that takes legitimate concerns seriously. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations, and I won't be returning.
