It felt like a place for locals to enjoy a great steak without breaking the bank on drinks. Where we can sit and chat for hours over a few bottles of wine. It felt like a place to take our families and friends for any occasion. The new corkage fee started from 0 and jumped to 50 bucks after the first bottle. That is a huge jump that I know many regulars are not a fan of. This place no longer feels worth it. It suddenly feels like any other steakhouse trying to attract "high end" clientele. No longer has the feel as a place where regular people can enjoy a steak. We've been customers for over a decade. And it had its rough times. It wasn't always as popular as it is today. But we stuck with them because mainly for the no corkage fee as dumb as that sounds. We were loyal and it paid off. They got through rough times and the food quality got so much better today. Our loyalty was lost with the corkage fee change. When asked for a suggestion, I would recommended to buy a good steak and cook it at home these days. Such a shame.

There was a small mix-up with our reservation at first (we had requested a window view), but the team fixed it immediately. The managers stepped in right away, introduced themselves, and made sure everything was taken care of. That alone set the tone for the rest of the night. We ended up getting the perfect window table, and the view was incredible... overlooking the water and the Queen Mary. We arrived in the early evening after sunset, so there was still a bit of light out before everything transitioned into night, which made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and not overly crowded, which made it feel even more relaxed and enjoyable. The food was just as impressive. The clam chowder was piping hot and, according to my mom, the best she's ever had. I ordered the 30-day aged ribeye, and it was easily one of the best ribeyes I've had... perfectly cooked rare with a great smoky flavor that wasn't overpowering. The crab cakes had real chunks of crab (not filler), and the lobster mac and cheese was rich and perfectly done. Everything came out exactly as it should. What really stood out to me was the service across the entire restaurant... not just our table. From the moment we walked in, the staff on every level were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Even team members who weren't directly assigned to us would stop by to check in or make sure we were taken care of. That level of consistency is rare and made the whole experience feel elevated. Special thank you to Gregory (manager), Alex (our server), and one of the female managers (whose name I unfortunately forgot) for going above and beyond. On top of everything, they made a few thoughtful gestures that made the experience feel even more special, which we really appreciated. We'll absolutely be back. This place really checks all the boxes... view, food, service, and overall experience.

Something this restaurant does know is Salt! Heavy salt on crab legs, steak, Benedict. Second was wait time, for a filet that was overcooked and over salted. It took close to an hour from a somewhat of a prefix menu. Best thing I had was potatos and DIY Bloody Mary bar. Server was very nice and location was great. Food was a disaster

Tell me to meet you somewhere and I'll be there. Simple as that and less stress for me. Anyways, that's how we ended up at this place. Trying to find happy hour with food in the area was somewhat a challenge. Either they were finishing up or it wasn't that interesting on the menu. Of course some places offered amazing drink deals but no food. We ended up here actually across the street still looking up for places but the rooftop patio was what caught our attention. The restaurant itself looked bare as there was no one inside. Still on the early side but noticing people going in and then heading up stairs. After a few debates on here and there, we gave up and found our way here. Checked in with the host, letting him know that we just wanted happy hour upstairs. It was about two flights of stairs which the place looked quite industrial with all the metal beams and stairs. Downstairs was beautiful but completely emptied. Everyone wanted to utilize the rooftop patio as it was beautiful out. We were greeted by someone which mentioned to us that any bar seating was available. There was a section towards the back that was pretty lively. I think it was booked for a group. Instead of the bar area, we asked to sit along the rooftop counter that looks out to the street and building across the street. Way better view and perfect way to spend the afternoon hours. Staff were all pretty sweet and very friendly. Whatever we needed they were they to help. Both the regular menu and happy hour menu were quite impressive. As we just wanted HH, it was given. They had drink special for 10.00 and small bites for 10.00 as well. Didn't hesitate and started off with some drinks. The red sangria with mixed fruits was a nice clean and refreshing treat. Tasteful without that aftertaste. And the Le Pistolet Fumant, a delectable tasty drink with mezcal with a hint of pineapple. And other well drink that was perfect for a nice afternoon. HH drink special was quite tasty to start off. Food wise, started off with an order of the Caesar salad, simple but delicious. Fresh crisp Romaine lettuce and slices of Parmesan and crouton bits. Nice crunch with each bite. The dressing, wow pretty tasty. And an order of the Mac and Cheese . Most places it's either a hit or a miss and let me say it was a HIT. Quite cheesy and full of flavors that a second order was had. A dish I do recommend for HH. We also had an order of the Brussels sprouts which was excellent. A nice glaze and crunchy with chunks of house cured pancetta. Nice big chunks I must say. Lastly the beef sliders with Wagyu beef patties. Honestly, this was the least favorite of the dishes we got. You would think it sounded great but it was quite tasteless and nothing major to report on. Served with brioche bun and shredded lettuce and tomatoes and a lemon aioli. I had high hope for it when I saw the group next to us order it but it was a little disappointing. Overall, the Mac and cheese, Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts were all hits. The sliders, disappointing. Other items on HH didn't look too ingesting for us but it was for other people. The rooftop lounge and bar area was the place to be when we were there. It picked up real fast after we got seated. Picnic style tables being occupied by large groups before HH ended. Just the rooftop alone was great and beautiful. It a place that's good for a drink and meal with friends. Downstairs was beautiful but seemed more of an intimate experience. Overall, it was a great choice for a meal during HH.

The staff always seem annoyed and anxious to kick customers out near closing. Regardless, I'll still keep coming back as it's worth dealing with in exchange for everything else being good. When it comes to thai food, I usually order the basics like pad thai and pad see ew. Both dishes were rich in flavor, perfect savory vs sweet, and not too greasy. I have a bit of a sensitive stomach when it comes to greasy food but their food satisfied my palate! Also their thai iced tea is INSANE as it comes with a popsicle so you're basically getting double the drink for only $7-8!? What a steal!!

The atmosphere feels rushed rather than relaxing, and the staff seemed eager to turn tables over as quickly as possible. We barely finished eating before it felt like we were being pushed out the door. On top of that, the parking lot is a complete cluster and adds unnecessary stress before you even walk inside. Between the chaotic parking situation and feeling rushed through the meal, it took away from what could have been a great dining experience. Good food, but the atmosphere and service style completely turned me off from wanting to come back.

Trying several items on the menu provided us a nice sampling of what they have to offer. We enjoyed everything we ordered. My favorite was probably the Brussel sprouts as they were cooked to perfection and not sweet like most restaurants serve them. A close 2nd was the chicken parmesan served over zucchini noodles. The final item ordered was a mushroom pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic with a light char and perfect flavoring. The pasta was good. It was a bit to spicy for me with the chili oil so I only had a small portion. The inside is simple yet inviting with an open layout. They seemed a bit short staffed, but every one was hustling and honestly we were well taken care of. Sad I won't have another opportunity to try more of the menu, but grateful to squeeze in this visit before they close in about a week.

It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.
