Came here a couple times before, sometimes it would be late at night or early for lunch. Every-time was not disappointed. My favorite dish has to be the seared tuna and their apps are amazing, spicy cucumber salad is also my favorite here. Drinks were beautiful and taste delicious and overall food is great as well! We don't go to Ra very often, but they took reservations for Valentine's so we figured why not?? We enjoyed it last time we ate there so let's do it again. First - we were sat outdoors when we had reservations that didn't mention being seated outside (and the people in front of us didn't have reservations and were told all they had was patio). We ordered drinks off the happy hour menu and questioned why we were outside and they moved us indoors - the heater near us didn't work! Whew! We had a couple appetizers, soup and shared the chicken fried rice for two. The tempura veggies were great, the seared ahi was a little strange with the sauce. We have had the chicken fried rice before, but it was a little dry this time. The biggest bummer was that they didn't honor happy hour prices because it was Valentine's Day!?! Forgot I had been here before for a girls' dinner until I got off at the exit and recognized the area. Appreciate the convenient location off of the freeway due to it being far from me. I met a friend here for lunch and it wasn't too busy. We were seated by the window and given a regular menu and their lunch one. I decided to get their rainbow roll lunch which comes with miso soup and salad, and my companion ordered the Zonie roll and a lemonade mojito. I tried the blueberry lemonade and it was refreshing on a warm day. Miso soup is always a comforting and tasty dish and the sushi was yummy. The salad was a good accompaniment as well and the presentation was nice. Our server Kayla was fabulous, friendly and the right balance of accommodating! Edamame was delicious, but too much sauce that was definitely soy base & had a tad bit much of salt. Sashimi was good, the Yellowtail tasted the freshest with Tuna & Salmon. The roll came on the bowl the salad came in, which was surprising to me. 8 pieces, of minced spicy tuna & cucumber. I wish there was avocado too!! The salad was great, but I was craving more dressing. Too good to not give a lot!! The restaurant itself was clean & beautifully decorated. It was almost empty when I went in around 1:30pm. i absolutely love RA , have been coming here since like 2012 and have never had a bad time. the host Alayana was absolutely amazing , from walking in to getting seated she was really welcoming and so sweet. We were the only table sitting out on the patio so service was slower but understandable as it was probably out of a section. Avery , the togo server , was really helpful grabbing soy sauce and wasabi for us. Bryan our server was overall extremely friendly and provided us good service. i was suuuuper disappointed this trip to see my yellowtail sashimi portion ... :/ for $17 i definitely should have said something but we were in a little bit of a rush .. next time i will definitely speak up. read more

RA had absolutely terrible service. I tried to order sushi rolls to go, literally for my nine-year-old grandson who is in the hospital and I had my other grandsons in the car. I specifically ordered curbside so I wouldn't have to bring them in the restaurant to pick it up. You cannot talk to a real person, it sends you to AI. I have no problems with AI when it actually takes your order, but the whole ordering process took 13 minutes for three sushi rolls. Then when I got to this restaurant, there were curbside parking spaces around the corner and 15 minutes later when no one had showed up, I tried to call again and AI had to connect me with a real person finally. They put me on hold and then told me they were. Sorry somebody would be out any minute. Three minutes later when no one was there I took a chance to leave my grandkids in the car and ran in. The lady at the front desk told me they don't have curbside, even though they have parking spaces for it and my meal has been sitting there the full almost 20 minutes. This is horrible service, incredibly expensive prices and no help at all. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

Good evening, I'm writing regarding my experience this evening when I dined with my husband and a friend. Unfortunately, the visit fell well below reasonable expectations. We waited approximately 40 minutes for two of the meals and nearly an hour for mine (Spicy Chicken and Rice). When the food finally arrived, both my husband's and our friend's meals were dry and overcooked, making them difficult to eat. Given the extended wait and food quality issues, this was extremely disappointing. The manager offered to buy me one drink, which did not feel like an appropriate resolution considering that every meal at the table was incorrect or poorly executed. I work in the industry myself, and when there are clear BOH errors, excessive wait times, and quality failures across multiple dishes, the standard response would be to comp the meals, not offer a single drink as a fix. I'm not looking for free food--I'm looking for accountability and proper guest recovery. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future guests do not have the same experience. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding how this situation can be addressed. read more

On May 31, my husband and I came in for just a simple date night and we have not been out to sushi in a while and we have actually had some bad sushi places so at first we were skeptical but the Menu had excellent options and the sushi was made fresh you could tell just the way that it looked the way that it tasted. It was fresh all the food we had was excellent and the service that we had was amazing. Alec Was our server and helped us out with the cocktail menu options. He made sure to let us know what was in Them whenever we asked.
