Unlike some other guys in the area who didn't even bother to return our call. Secondly, They were on time. Actually, the moment I gave them my address, they knew where we were at. On Christmas Eve my wall heater was not working properly. Jose and one of his employees came over (I must stress that this was Christmas Eve!) and determined that the heater wouldn't last through the winter even though it could possibly be temporarily repaired. Jose hated to take my money knowing that he would have to come back so soon, so he was able to install a brand new heater THAT DAY! He gave me an excellent warranty. At the time I didn't want to install the new thermostat and sure enough, the thermostat stopped working with the heater (which itself was just fine). So today, he came back, at no charge, to install a new thermostat in a different location, rewiring the connection, which required him to crawl under the house. Yuck! Now everything is great! Jose is the most dependable contractor I have ever worked with and you simply must call him for your HVAC needs. Really! read more

My furnace broke during those realllllly cold days last month, and I feared the worst. I first called PG&E (who will make free housecalls to check the pilot light and make sure the issue isn't with the gas lines.) They told me the problem was the circuit board and that I would need to get it, if not the entire furnace, replaced. I called around to a few companies, and Rabboni was the first to call back. We hired Rabboni Mechanical to fix our air conditioning and heating system, because of his ratings and were extremely pleased! Wish we could have given him 6 stars! The first time he came to our home he and his 2 technicians were polite, respectful, clean, and easy to talk to. Jose showed us how our air conditioner was falling apart (you could put your finger through the radiator fins and they would turn to ash/dust) and that we needed to replace it. We asked about cheaper options and he did say we could put in more freon but that it wouldn't work for long. We decided to go ahead and get the new air conditioner but really appreciated his discussion of short-term and long-term options. He got our air conditioning working both downstairs and upstairs at the same time. He did say that our control circuit board was on its last legs and would need replacing soon. I would really appreciate the great efforts Jose had put in my water heater installation! I am extremely satisfied with this good service! Initially I had a special requirement to install a energy efficient model, so that I can get the rebate from PG&E. Jose had help me to find that model from Home Depot, which is not the contract carrier. The first water heater purchased from Home Depot looks great before the package is opened. However, there is a big dent on the heater when we take the package off. Apparently, this dent is from factory. Jose immediately went back to Home Deport and got it replaced for me. Then Jose take care everything during installation. I did not realize that this water heater require power supply, however, Jose had helped me to route the power line in the garage. In addition to the water heater install, Jose also helped me to inspect the air conditioner and gas heating. He had good knowledge, and explain everything to me while he check things out. My family trusted Jose' and his co-workers to install a new furnace and air conditioning unit in the condo where my Mother lives. We were all very content with the clear discussions we had with Jose. He is extremely knowledgeable and is very efficient. We opened up the area he worked in and had our old furnace out of his way and he installed everything within in the one day. I can't remember if i found Jose thru yelp. i think i did so thanks to all those who yelped before me. But regardless, he's been helping me out on my rooftop commercial HVAC units for over 2 years now. He does a great job assessing the problems and gives me fair estimates. He's super easy to work with and easy to get in touch with (mostly by text which is so fast and convenient). The work is completed in a timely manner. He even got rid of wasp nests in my units for me. His guys are young but professional. It looks like they've been trained well. I'm set up now for twice a year maintenance. Both my furnaces broke during the winter and my house felt like a freezer all the time with crummy insulation. Finally last week one of the furnaces gave out completely. I have the PG& E guy come out to check first, looking for an answer that was honest. I asked the PG&E guy if it can be repaired, He looked at me and told me that the furnaces are so old that he doubted if there is any parts out there in the market. Sure enough, I called a company to come out and estimate and the guy gave me the same answer, the only choice is to replaced, The same day, I asked this company to come by and give me an estimate. Update to January review. The heater that was installed was a little noisy due to the intake and filter being installed in the hallway. I called Jose and he came and inspected it, tried an adjustment. It was still pretty loud so he had Edder come out a week later to relocate the filter in the heater itself, had to replace and add ducting. I really think this company is great. Recently my furnace of 45 years finally quit. I called one company and left a message. Thankfully they never returned my call. I looked up Rabboni Mechanical and spoke with Jose. He came that same day and suggested a furnace replacement. He was polite with a great demeanor. He explained all that a replacement would require and we set up an appointment for several days later. His workers arrived at the designated time and were very thorough. My furnace was acting up and after ready reviews called Jose. He arrived on time and started troubleshooting. Heater works fine and it won't shut off and continues to run nonstop. After spending an hour with him, he recommended to change a board and later spent 20 minutes trying to sell a new system. I know my furnace is old but it warms the house within a short time, AC works fine. I replaced a new valve last year. After doing further investigation it needs a new fan switch. It's like taking your car to a mechanic for troubleshoot and he tells you to buy a new car or change the engine vs. troubleshooting for a part that needs replacement. He didn't bother looking into air filter or cleaning the system. I waisted my afternoon and also money for his estimate on installing a new system. Very disappointed... read more

I was calling around to get estimate to replace my 16-year old furnace/AC as the coil was rusting and leaking. Out of the 4 bidders, Jose's price was the most reasonable but beyond that it's his honesty. I can spot sales tactic within a few seconds of speaking to other bidders. However, Jose is not; he's just a business owner who really cares about his customer. Everything was explained up front and there was no hidden charge. He took care of the permit for us (this is something you need to take into consideration when choosing your contractor because some will quote you lower price without permit). I am super happy we chose him to do the work. He recommended only Trane system and did thorough explanation of the pros/cons of different manufacturers. We also did our own research and agreed with his suggestion. Jose and his team (Josh) showed up on time, did a great job and thoroughly cleaned up the site after the installation. We got the Trane furnace/AC system installed and he also fixed a few other duct and lighting issues that he discovered while doing the installation.
