So yummy. Had the Pad See Ew and the 4 Musketeers Fried Rice and coconut prawns. Everything was cooked perfectly. We also had Phad Kee Mao and it was missing some basil, so the flavor was a little lacking for this dish. I will not get Thai food anywhere else in the valley. This place was great! Was visiting the area for work and stopped in for lunch. Ordered the cashew nut stir-fry and we liked it so much, we went back for lunch again the next day. Tiny place (only seats around 10 at a bar), but great service and food. Definitely worth stopping in. read more

This place might have good food, but they also like to completely disregard their posted hours. In the last 2 months I've driven 40 miles (each way) to get food, only to find that they're closed. This has happened three different times. They always have some ridiculous excuse, and don't seem to care about anyone who relies on the hours posted online. Horrible. read more

Oh Rachawadee. What can I say about how much I love the food from here. Authentic, delicious and the epitome of a family business. My only complaints are the same as everyone else and probably what keeps you great. Not open on weekends and a very small space so it is difficult to find a seat or it takes a long time for a to go order. But...so worth it. Try the pad kee mao, green curry or phad thai. Having been to Thailand, this by FAR is the BEST Thai food we have had anywhere in the states. These sisters are amazing cooks, waiting for one of the not many bar stools is well worth it! The best. Ever. Serious. Pad Thai is out of the world good. The veggies are perfect. Peanut sauce perfect. Kee mau perfect with awesome veggies. They shred the som tum right in front of you. The food is outstanding. The service while prompt is lacking. The women working there did not acknowledge us right away even though we could practically reach right out and touch them. When I told one woman we were ready to order she shook her head yes and proceeded to help the people next to us who were not actually ready to order and wound up leaving the restaurant. Two of the women that were working also seemed very annoyed by the third as they were sneering at her and talking between themselves shaking their heads in dismay. The Bomb. I live in Asia 3-4 months a year, and have since 2009. Asian food I know...and love. This place is my favorite in WA. Super fresh, full of spice, cooked to perfection, great atmosphere, and friendly people.It's like going to Thailand, and being invited to someone's house who really knows how to cook the old fashioned way. Plig Khing, 4 Musketeers fried rice, Phad kee Mao, all great. Massam curry? Crazy good! So is everything else.. That said...don't go here. It's already crowded enough. Thank goodness I read the review about the HOTNESS!! Altho they did have it 'posted' that it was hot 'today'. I usually order 4*'s...but 2 was plenty hot! You sit on bar stools & watch the food being prepared. I like to ask 'what do you think is the best dish you make'. Unfortunately waiters seem unable to say what it is. I was pointed to a dish and told 'lots of people like this'...oh well, sometimes you don't get lemonade! Had a great conversation with the owner about 'hot peppers', where he gets them, hotness, storage etc. As a cook that uses lots of peppers & likes hot food it was very interesting to me. As usual, I another 2 meals from their serving. I will go back & hopefully the owner will be here when I order & I will get 'the best dish they make'. My only complaint was my dish was very heavy on tough, inedible chunks of cabbage. Still....it's a 5! read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant that's not in Thailand. Will warn you that when they say hot they're not joking "it's hot". I usually say I want 3 stars but here I say 0-1 star. I love the experience of the place it's like being in someone's kitchen. Only a long bar to sit so it's crowded and tight. That's the only reason for only 4 stars instead of 5. There is usually a wait to get in and you will wait on the sidewalk but worth the wait. read more

Really small hole in the wall place but the food is fantastic! It's family run and they take pride in their restaurant which shows in the amazing customer service and the freshness of the food. Ordered the coconut milk chicken soup ... an absolute must!! Tried a couple different curries and it came with tons of fresh local veggies which I loved. The spice levels are insanely hot ... we like hot but could not handle the 3 or for that matter even the 2. So go low and add hot sauce if needed. In all fairness, the gentleman taking the order warns again and again on the spice levels. Would definitely go back if we visit Mt. Vernon again! read more

Pam and her staff are awesome. They do a great job getting the food out hot and fast. There are limited seats available but it's worth the wait. The spices are a little higher than your average American Thai Restaurants so go easy on the spicy rating. I had the prawns for an appetizer and the Chicken Phad Thai and it was so well cooked and the perfect spicyness (if that's a word) Highly recommend them for a casual lunch or dinner read more

First time for us to eat at a Thai's bar, literally with 8-9 stools, we pretty much filled the whole place. It was fun to watch the 3 sisters behind the counter, prep & sizzle away. The dishes were quickly prepped and sizzled once ordered, pretty decent seasonings, a veggie was a bit crisp, great for us, but our 4yr-old likes a little more cooked. No fancy, no fuss menu was short, just the basic popular Thai dishes, well prepared but not as gourmet as the Thai House around couple of blocks. This noodle dishes were a bit wetter than to our taste. Over all, decent and a buck cheaper than Thai House, and the meal comes with entertainment and friendly owner(s).
