One of the best, most consistent restaurants I have ever been to. Really flavorful sauces and broths, reasonable spiciness scale. You can tell they really put in a lot of effort to do things properly (consistent cut vegetables and meats, with noticeably solid cooking technique) Sometimes hard to get in as there are less than 15 seats, but you can always get something to go. We've had serious Thai food all over Los Angeles, and this place exceeds most. Chicken yellow curry with veggies, and the Pad Thai. Watching the chefs prepare the food is an especially nice treat. I have nothing but good to say about this place. Fair warning there stars rating for spiciness is high I usually can have a 4 but here I can only have it too. The proportions you get are definitely worth your money my favorite is Pad Thai and peanut sauce with tofu added to it, and don't forget the Thai tea. read more

Pam and her staff are awesome. They do a great job getting the food out hot and fast. There are limited seats available but it's worth the wait. The spices are a little higher than your average American Thai Restaurants so go easy on the spicy rating. I had the prawns for an appetizer and the Chicken Phad Thai and it was so well cooked and the perfect spicyness (if that's a word) Highly recommend them for a casual lunch or dinner read more

What a little gem of a Thai place, where I never would have expected to find one. This place probably seats 16 people including the folding table that we sat at. It opened promptly at 12:00 noon and there was a full people set of for all 16 seats. The menu is simple, but complete. I had the Matsumann curry and my wife the Pad Thai with Tofu. the Matsumann was wonderful, large portion, spiced just perfect with a few surprise vegies and fruits. I has two meals from the protion. The Pad Thai was also plenty full although short of Tofu. The spring rolls were perfect. Service was great and these ladies and one young gent were busting it to get all served in a timely manor, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is on their way North and needs a repaise for lunch. I love love love this place a million times over, but it's a very small business with limited staff and seating. Sometimes you just can't get food here, and it's torture. The hours of operation will change on a whim, and sometimes the phone just rings and rings when you're trying to place a to go order. This is our favorite Thai place - everything is good!! I always recommend trying Pad Thai to get a good idea of the quality of food - it's excellent here. My favorite thing to order though is Pad Kee Mao (wide noodles, savory sauce, onions, chicken and fresh tomatoes and basil - crazy good). It can be tough to get a table and tends to be closed on Saturday nights. We order to go quite often, but if you go at random times there's always seating. Ooh and great Thai Iced Tea! This place is fantastic. The food could not be more delicious (I've tried almost everything on the menu). If it is busy it is best to plan to get takeout, there are only about 10 seats at the bar in the whole place. It used to be a salon of some kind, I'm guessing. It is a total hole in the wall but you watch them make the food and as a nurse I can say they use very clean practices. The owner is just the greatest, friendly and accommodating. BEST EVER! We got the suggestion from someone that works in the downtown area. It was funny because my boyfriend had to go in because there was barely any standing room. He ordered for us and we sat outside for about 10 minutes before it was ready. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu and brown rice. I had the 2 star the first time I went and that was a mistake. It was a little too hot for me that time. The second time I had a 1 star and it was still spicy! Honestly if you like spicy food this is the place. Everything on their menu is good. Authentic Thai place in Skagit valley. I've had a lot of good thai food elsewhere, but for Skagit valley standards, I'd definitely give it 5 stars for the food. The restaurant is small and closed many times without notice. Hopefully they can be more flexible with the hours. One tip is don't order Pad Thai as it's tomato based. Havent eaten here in a while because they have unpredictable days and hours. yelp says they are open tonight, however called 10 times and no answer. the last time I got take out it was a 1 hour and 15 minute wait. I was told it would be 40 , minutes and I had to wait an additional 35 minutes as they hadn't even started my order when I arrived. bummed about this place as I ate here about once a week....super disappointing! read more

I've tried to eat here twice. It's right next to my fav pub so I always see people going in and out with their to go orders. Made me curious. My advice.... get take out and do it EARLY. They say they close at 8 but if you get there after 7:30 they will yell at you that they are closed. I say... "Uuuuummm, it's only 7:30 and all I want is an order to go." She yells, "No to go. We closing!" as I stare at the 8 or so people sitting up at the tiny bar eating their noodles. YIKES. I feel like I'm in a Seinfeld episode dealing with the Soup Nazi. She's just grouchy today I think to myself. Then I hear her on another night yelling at customers as I sit in the open bar next door. "We closing!!". I look at the clock. 7:45. I mean... they must know their food is good because their service is horrendous and they stay busy. I just can't bring myself to go back and take that attitude just for a good plate of Pad Thai.
