Rack Um Up is truly one of the best pool lounges you can come to in Tustin. As a matter of fact, it's not even close when compared to it's local counterparts like God Father, Walnut Room, etc. For one, the maintenance put into this place is outstanding. Not only does the owner ensure that cleanliness is up to the highest standard - which was especially important during the pandemic - she also sees that all the pool equipment is upgraded when necessary and up to date. Aside from that, all the staff is cheerful and treats you with respect as long as you're behaving. It's not uncommon that an individual comes along and has a bit too much to drink and begins to disrespect staff & other patrons, which results in the bartenders/bar backs having to take some sort of action to preserve the peace & safety of the establishment - which is probably the reason for a few unhappy reviews I see here . Shoutout to Diana, Sharea, Tati, Deanna, Jesse, Jimbo, Coral, and the rest for all their hard work and kindness. 10/10 would recommend this place, especially for those who love pool. read more

I've been coming here for some time now. Usually when Leanne is in. She has an unmeasurable amount of experience in the industry. She is very attentive and very accommodating. I have been coming to this establishment for years now and it never disappoints. It definitely IS a dive bar but it's a good one and with A LOT of pool tables and other games. The bartenders and bar-backs are usually quick and on top of drinks and anything else that comes around. Very friendly and welcoming but it's a local bar so expect locals to be there. Usually pretty busy Fridays and Saturdays. Definitely would recommend especially if you like to play pool like myself. The only reason anyone would have anything negative to say about this place is because they were cut off and are upset about it. Racks is my go-to spot; kind of my safe-haven where I can sit in the corner to read and write, even when it's poppin'. I'm a local, so my rating for it leans towards praise because 1) the rapport that the owner, Diana, and the bartenders/barbacks have with all of its regulars, 2) this is also true of any newcomers or infrequent familiar faces who reciprocate the level of respect and kindness and friendliness with which this establishment welcomes us, and 3) even when it gets busy, they are very attentive and have top-notch service. Though there are 5 pool tables (and a couple of arcade games), Friday and Saturday nights tend to get very busy. So kindness in communication goes a long way for anyone who wishes to get a chance at shooting billiards. Discovered this spot randomly while in the area and honestly, I love this little hole-in-the-wall place. Nice number of pool tables, cool staff, they serve pop corn and allow outside food There's also a Modern jukebox to play whatever kind of music you're feeling that day. Located in a small strip mall near a liquor store and Hispanic gift shop/water jug machine. It's not easy to spot, but if you live around here and haven't been, you've missing out. To reel new customers/different crowds around here, I hope this place is coming up with some dope drinks/food. They've probably changed names from Booties two years ago because it was shit hole in the wall, but now it has some improvements. 5 machine paid pool tables, foosball table, electric darts, and a pinball machine. + 1 star for the fun entertainment and vibe. They've even have about 7 different flat screens around the room. Nice jukebox too. Somebody played some of that Taylor Swift cover, by Blank Space. Owner tip: could've probably invest in about 10 to 15Gs more for making the place a little nicer though. Hint: Old wooden walls and lighting feels like I'm at my folks. I don't like seeing ducktape on the rug or swivel chairs. +1 star because they don't smell yet and was somewhat tidy. Bartender was quick and not rude. Came here on a Monday. Yup, that's what up. Never met any disrespecting bartenders before, but some who totally ignores you. Not in this case on this slow night. Bar has about 6 beers on tap(mostly lagers, bud light, Budweiser, Coors, shock top and a Wild Goose. Not much, but it'll do for me. Prices for beer was reasonable. $5 to $7 depending on sizes. +1 star Well prices are stiff on the other hand, $12. I'd come back to see what's their happy hour is like. Keep a close eye on the kegs though, cause I'm sure some of them are going flat. Biggest complaint or pet peeve when I come to bars are NO paper towels in bathroom. People are just going to wipe their dirty ass hands all over your bar. Not cool for staff too. It's Disgusting so don't be cheap and have some class. Also, what's up with the condom machine? Dope little dive bar off Newport and Walnut locates in a small plaza next to a liquor store. Came here for the first time today afternoonish, for a couple of drinks with the coworkers since we got off work early. Fun environment with really cones priced drinks, walked out with under $20 including tip for 2 Johnny Wallers. Bartenders are hella cool seems like it's family owned, the bartender Dawn makes it feel like s home type of environment and was super sweet! As expected, a typical dive bar with like 5 pool tables (decent shape), a few pinball machines and a dart board. Pretty mellow, not too rowdy, and not too many drunkerds. Just one the night I went. The Saturday and Sunday night bartender Sharea is super cool. She is always kind, and provides great service. The Tuesday Wednesday night bartender Alex is also super friendly. She always lets us know the specials of the day and provides great service. These two are our favorite bartenders and keep us coming back. Jukebox is always jamming, 5 Pool tables, and the customer base is almost family. There is always fresh free popcorn at this joint!
