Their water softener broke early morning before the office opened, leading to super loud noises and woke everyone up. Worse, the water sprinkler in our front door gushed out, splashing water to our front door and home. I called and left an emergency voicemail, which stated that someone will call me in 15 minutes. Nobody did. I called again at 8 AM when the office opened, and the rep named Jerrod (?) who answered just put me on hold after I said it's an emergency, without even hearing me out. After the hold, he was mainly concerned about verifying whether I called earlier and left an emergency call. When I inquired about service to address the emergency, he said he might be able to dispatch someone and just hang me up. I called again later to inquire about the inspection time, and Jerrod (same rep again) said no one can come due to schedule conflict. He also said it's my equipment and Rayne is not responsible for defects, despite the fact that I purchased their softener AND Rayne serviced this softener previously. We pay each month for the water softener rental. We don't see any real difference in our water. At the time of signing up, we were never advised there would be a monthly exchange every month, and since our unit is in our garage, we need to be home to let them in. Last month they exchanged the unit, but never turned it on. I noticed the water spots on our dishes and shower, it's been like that for a while, so I don't know if this unit helps with the water spots. We asked for a credit for the month the unit was never turned on, and they only agreed to 50% credit. Customer service is not so good. The techs are friendly, that's about all I can say about this company. I would not recommend Rayne water. read more

Long story short, Andrew Grant is the guy you want for follow up service. We had him talk us through how to change the filters. He was willing to explain everything step by step, gave us his personal cell, and left a few simple gadgets to help us in the future. Amazing customer service and he made everything right when I was about to give up with trying to get someone out here to make sure everything was connected correctly. The 5-Stars are really just for him. We have had our filter for almost a month now, installed initially by an older service member from Rayne. He did not walk us through how to change out the filter and it was against company policy for him to hook up InstaHot water systems that were owner purchased. I won't get into too many details but we made a couple scheduled appointments and Rayne never showed up or gave us a courtesy call to reschedule. I understand people/companies are busy. Do not listen to those commission salesmen from other companies who try to talk you into something that does it all in one. I've had this machine for a year now. It's been a workhorse with no issues. Put in soft water system awhile ago. Apparently, after some time, the internal system melts and clogs. This causes the whole house's water supply to be reduced. Had to pay hundreds of dollars to repair (it shouldn't melt and clog in the first place) Paid in full, yet they keep recharging. It's disappointing that additional bills are sent when paid in full. Very offensive that they won't send a written confirmation balance is 0 when asked multiple times. read more

I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service from Yessica. I am a new customer and I've been getting blue notices on my front door stating that my driver isn't able to deliver a new fresh tank!!! I've talked to Yessica multiple times about getting a calendar with my delivery dates and she tells me she will be sending me a "Welcome to Rayne packet" and I have YET to receive it. I've called her 5 times about this exact issue and I've about had it. How can I have an idea on when my driver will be here if she won't send me my delivery dates? Everything was great, from speaking to my sales man to speaking to the scheduler and my technician was WONDERFUL but me and my husband have decided to cancel our services with Rayne. I like Rayne very much and have used them for years without issue. My only complaint is that, whenever they come to change out the tank, they leave the truck running in front of the house the entire time. It's not just wasteful--it also fills up the front of my house with fumes when my windows are open. Would like to see their drivers stop being so environmentally unfriendly. read more

So disappointed in the lack of customer service from this branch. I'd definitely look for alternatives before going with this company. Now that it's installed it might be more annoying to have it removed. The one star is for good water quality. The sales person who gave us the consultation was nice and friendly too. From there it all went downhill. Then the technician didn't install everything properly and I had to call 3 times over the course of the next ten days to finally get someone out to finish the install. When the second guy came to finish the job, we asked about having the knob face the opposite direction and he said he'd come back because he didn't have the tools for it at that time - there was no followup on this and he did not come back. Our contract included the first 2 months of service free and random months over the next year also free. After the first month of service I got a bill and was being charged for the first month of service that I was told would be free. After the second month of service I got a bill and was still being charged for the second month that I was told would be free. I called customer service again and they said they would look into it. The next time I spoke with them they said that the burden of proof would be in me and that I would have to show them my contract that indicated that the first 2 months would be free. So I did. They told me to ignore the charges for the first two months and just pay the installation fee. So I asked if there was a way to set up automatic billing which is probably not a good idea looking at their service track record. They confirmed my email and said they would send ma a link to setup recurring online payments. Do you think they ever sent that link? read more

We wanted to get our water softened. The installer, Refugio, did excellent work. He showed up on time, asked us where we wanted the tank installed, and finished in a timely manner. He did a fine job of running the lines and installing the shut off system. He also showed us how to use the shutoff device. This company replaced 3 filters of our drinking water under sink and charged us $500 for a 15 mints of the work. Almost $300 dollars for the filters and $200 dollars service charge. This amount is very unusual and very high. Our efforts to get a discount did not go anywhere, and their response was very rude and impolite. Changing the drinking water filter under the sink is very easy and does not take more than 15 minutes. It requires a circular wrench, which is not difficult to obtain. You or an ordinary handyman can easily do it. We are very unhappy with the large amount we paid for this simple work . We will never repeat this mistake anymore and not recommend them to anyone. read more

Just had a monthly water tank installed by Refugio from Rayne after Kenny came and explained everything. It replaced a terrible system I had for years. What a difference in water quality! Soap makes a lather and pots get cleaned easier. It seems like the clothes aren't as wrinkled too. Refugio pumped air into the RO tank which is something every plumber should do when it's serviced-- only they don't! Now I have good water flow from the kitchen RO again. I'm hoping everything will continue to work well. So far I'm really liking the Rayne people. read more
