Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant! Truly a hidden gem on the west side of Albuquerque! I really enjoyed the spicy beef stew! In addition, the dry spicy chicken was very enjoyable! My only complaint is that may be the restaurant is a little bit over price. Service was about average quality. However, we quickly got our food soon after ordering. The ambience of the restaurant was about average for Albuquerque.

"Werewolves Of London" "I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand.. Walking through the streets of Soho in the rain.. He was looking for the place called "Red Chilli"-Kitchen.. Going to get a big dish of Kung Pao Chicken.. "Aaoooooo..Aaoooooo!" Werewolves of London".. We settled in at the small comfortable.. "Red Chilli House".. for Mid Noon lunch. Our Chef Patronne greeted us with smiles.. We shared a most delish dish of Grilled Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, each bite was a nice kiss of sweet eggplant and garlic heat. It was accompanied w. Sides of steam rice and red chilli sauce.. Washed down w. Rain Water and Sapporo Beer. A fun Chinese Eatery worthy of repeat visits when done.. Wow ! Americano is delicious - good robust beans. The lo mein noodles have a good flavor and texture ; the shrimp are huge. Orange chicken has tender white meat , sweet and fresh. The orange sauce is made fresh and it's intensely magnificent. If you are not an orange chicken person, it's because you have not tasted this recipe. Chinese brócoli is fresh , garlicky and cut in perfect pieces. The white rice is fresh and fluffy. THIS IS THE BEST ORANGE CHICKEN IN ALBUQUERQUE . Hands down.

Just driving by and this place caught our eye. It was a great lunch. We split the wontons which were spicy and tasty. The Mei Fun was a curry flavored and perfect for two people. It's in a strip mall but well worth the stop.

This place felt very authentic. We started with the spicy wontons; they were a little soft but the flavor was legit. One of the servers, likely an owner, came by and swapped out my chopsticks for a spoon which felt abrupt but absolutely the best way to be eating them. Both noodle dishes were flavorful and well prepared. A little extra soy sauce really boosted the flavor but I appreciated neither dish was overly salty. We will absolutely try this spot again.

I've been craving the spiciness of peppercorn lately and this scratched that itch. The wontons in chili oil had a bit of heat, but I liked it mainly for the flavor. The spicy chicken was wonderfully numbing and crunchy. Perfectly good service too.

Wontons in chile oil minus the wontons we ate as soon the dish arrived at the table.

Red Chilli House occupies a former sushi restaurant on Golf Course Rd. The service was excellent and their Sichuan offerings are sublime. We ordered wontons in red chile oil. The wrappers were as light as any I've had in San Francisco, New York, or Shanghai. We also ordered the grilled fish (grass carp?). The sauce was so flavorful that I could have eaten it as a soup. The accompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked, and the fish was firm, moist, and just flakey enough. We will be back!

Stepped in for the third time yesterday. Clean, cozy and while it was very busy and only one person serving (stress!), the service was friendly. I tried something new this time: sesame chicken. My husband had General Tso's. We also had spring rolls and a cup of egg drop soup. Each of us had a Sapporo with our dinner. Egg drop soup was first, served with crispy wonton strips. Very tasty, a little thicker than I like, has peas and carrots. Spring rolls were not hot or crispy enough for me, my husband liked them. We had the vegetable variety. To me, lacked much flavor. The sesame chicken was cooked perfectly. It was a bit sweeter than I've had before. But good. I tasted my husband's GT entree and loved it. Perfectly sweet and spicy, chicken was well cooked. I've tried kung pao before and it was good. It's nice to have a viable source of Asian cuisine in the neighborhood!

I miss the Philly China town spicy dishes. Here I really like the spicy chicken and the spicy wontons. I did order the soup dumplings but they were not fresh made. I don't recommend them and would not reorder. Looking forward to other spicy dishes.

A good stop for lunch before setting off on a hike to the Petroglyphs. We picked things off the menu since I'm not sure if they had a daily special. The Wontons in Chili Oil were good & spicy! The Singapore Mei Fun was full of proteins (beef/chicken/shrimp) with a nice rice noodle curry sauce. Honestly the Mei Fun was great but we did add some chili oil from the wontons to make it even better! Good service today from Emily.

Excellent win ton soup! I would recommend calling in to order if you're on a tight schedule...took over 20 minutes and had to rush eating.

Carefully not too break the membrane for fear of losing it juices. Service is responsive and not rushed. Atmosphere is casual and pleasant. Even though its a small parking lot in a strip plaza. Fresh hand pulled noodles are good, which were a little soft for my personal preference, but still good. It may sound strange but things with pork will taste porky. My girlfriend doesn't like pork, but can eat it, but she ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings and it was too porky for her. For me, it tasted just right because this is the flavors I grew up with. The dumpling dough had a nice texture that I prefer. My Ramen had a big fatty pieces of pork which is what I like. They didnt skimp. It was a good bowl of noodle soup. Wouldn't say its the best ramen I ever had, but it was good. Beef roll was good, I would say its one of the better ones I've seen in ABQ where its really filled with beef. Would recommend this. We also got soup dumplings and I will say that we didnt get the proper spoons for them. At first I thought they just didnt offer them, but looking at photos, we never got them. It makes a difference for your eating experience and enjoyment. We will definitely be back as this is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area and you really get some real Chinese variety and not your basic generic stereotypical menu.

A year ago we would have given Noodle Works 5 stars. Not…read moresure what is happening to this place, but it USED TO BE amazing. It was so good last year that we actually had a conversation with the owner about them being from San Francisco, after I told him it was the best Chinese food I've had in America outside of San Francisco. Well, that has changed significantly, and not for the better. We made a trip down from Santa Fe this week, specifically to eat at Noodle Works. Yes, we drove over an hour each way on Monday just to eat here. What a mistake! It was clear the General Tzo chicken was microwaved and not fresh fried. It was absolutely inedible! Mall food court Chinese is better than this dish was. Strange because almost exactly 1 year ago their General Tzo's dish was among them best I've ever tasted. I know this dish is not authentic, but to serve pre-fried then microwaved chicken is inexcusable! The Singapore Noodle dish this time was incredibly dry. The curry was more like a dry rub stuck to the noodles than it was a real curry sauce. Again... mall food court quality. Another dish that used to be amazing here. The crab in the crab rangoon was so fishy you could smell it before it was even delivered to the table. It had clearly sat out unrefridgerated during prep for far too long. It was inedible, or of fear of getting food poisoning... they did take it off of our bill. We are so disappointed in how bad the quality has fallen off in the last year! We loved them so much in the past that we will give them one more try, but we will not be making a special trip down from Santa Fe to eat here again. We REALLY hope they get their act together because we really like the employees and owner and want to continue to support them. Management did apologize without being prompted for the slow service and poor quality food, so hopefully they know serious improvement is needed if they are to stay in business. We wish them the best because they are great people. Good luck!

What a cool experience…read more The food came out fresh, hot and delicious which is a great combination. The wait staff was nice to give us another one cuz we sent it back, but it came back again with the same smell so we were worried but it tasted fine and we didn't get sick hahahaha. Wouldn't order it again tho because of the smell. steam chicken feet 5/5: nicely steamed with a spicy kick. steamed egg yolk bun 4/5: this is the main reason we come here! love the topping on the bun and the flavors of the steamed egg yolk.
