We had dry cooked fish and chicken drumsticks in heaven as appetizer. Yet they don't look appetizer at all. I could finish a whole bowl of rice with those. For entree we got the broccoli corn in mild garlic sauce, Hong Kong lamb and chili garlic noodle. Of all 3, the noodle was the best. The broccoli has too much gravy for my taste. I could count like 5 broccoli in that sea of gravy. It's little corn inside. If you love to eat rice with gravy or just gravy alone, this is the dish. For Hong Kong lamb, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be Chinese as there's nothing Hong Kong about. It taste ok. Another gravy dish. For dessert, fried ice cream is vanilla inside. The dough is a little too thick. This place can get packed at lunch time so come early. read more

The hot and sour soup is truly awesome, and the chili baby corn is quite enjoyable. What a pleasant surprise to find a stylish Indo Chinese restaurant in Fremont. Extra plus for this diverse community is that it is also Halal for those who desire it. The vibe was on point! Popular music was pumping good energy into the room but not too loud so as to interrupt guests as they chatted. I don't have too much experience with Indo Chinese cuisine but I do know Chinese food so I was half way to understanding the menu. We ordered Chicken Momo's, Cauliflower in Manchurian sauce, Pan Fried Chili Fish, and Chili Garlic noodles. Everything was delicious! Too good!! - tofu with veggies - 5/5- loved the texture of tge tofu and veggies were perfectly tossed in light sauce and "just right" crunchy - veg chilli garlic noodles (2 portions) - 5/5 - so so so good im in love!! :) spicy and good portion size. Found this restaurant when I took my car in for service. Their web site claims that its the Bay Area's Finest Indo Chinese Restaurant, and boasts Open Table Diners Choice awards 2022 - 2025. My experience was good, but I am not sure it lived up to that kind of expectation... :) To really explore the menu you probably have to go with a group and eat family style. I was by myself so I was glad to find they had a lunch platter. Really enjoyed the Hakka Noodles - great taste and texture without being overly greasy. Only thing is that I could have used some more vegetables with the noodles. The Chilli Chicken was also tasty. The Pan Fried Chilli Fish was a little too salty to be eaten by itself or with the noodles - maybe it was seasoned for eating with white rice? The Chicken Spring Roll was disappointing. Greasy wrapping. Dry ground chicken. I could only eat a couple of bites and then ended up throwing away the wrapper and mixing the chicken filling in with the chilli fish sauce. I also tried the Aam Panna which was good - on a hot day I could have really used some more of it. For dessert I tried the Darsaan (a la mode) which was crispy, yummy goodness and a lot of it so I took a whole box of the crispy noodles home. They were perfectly good with chai, even without the ice cream. Service and ambience are good but nothing exceptional. The waiter was friendly and attentive, but for some reason there was only one waiter working. If he was stuck on the phone for a take-out order, there was no option but to sit and wait. If I am in that neighborhood again and in the mood for Indo Chinese I would go back. However, I do not really think it is worth the drive to Fremont from other parts of the Bay Area. I was quite impressed with the food but it's certainly not mind blowing. I would describe it as quality Chinese "fusion" food. I've been meaning to try this place in person but we only had the chance to finally order from here via DoorDash. We were hungry (important) and didn't want to take the chance with the wait or customer service (based on reviews) so I'm glad we did delivery. Minus one star due to the price of the food. There are still many items we want to try but we destroyed all the food between the four of us: Dry Cauliflower Manchurian Chilli Garlic Noodles Dry Chilli Chicken Pan Fried Chilli Paneer Chicken Momo Dumplings (must have the sauce and I would ask for extra next time) The chicken, paneer and cauliflower dishes were all pretty saucy. On DoorDash there was no option for spice level and nothing was too spicy but there were plenty of Thai chili's especially in the chicken dish and that added a bit of a kick. The Munchow soup and Vegetable Couns in Manchurian Sauce turned out to be the same sauce, which was a bummer for me because I value variety. We ordered a side of rice and the only portion they offer was huge, like 3x what you get at a Chinese restaurant. Service was a bit spotty. It was great up until we wanted to ask for the check and to-go boxes, which took pretty long. It might have been because we were sitting outside and the servers didn't check as much. Absolutely the worst Indo-Chinese food I've ever had. Our family came here to celebrate Mothers Day and after a 40 minute wait, we were seated at one of the many outside tables. That part is fine - slow service and a wait are expected on such a busy, popular day. The food however... atrocious! I cannot believe they are allowed to charge such absurd prices for serving sloppy, goopy, and bland food. The hot and sour soup was ... definitely sour but in a distasteful way. The Manchurian coins were only 5 pieces in a vat of bland corn starchy gloop. The chili baby corn was undercooked and not crispy, so we ended up eating raw flour. The noodles were served sloppily and could have been replicated better at home with an instant noodle packet. Overall, we ended up spending $80 (no drinks) for one of the most disappointing meals of my life. I raised my concerns to the manager after the meal (since I didnt want any handouts) and instead got asked if I had ever eaten Indo-Chinese food (which, yes) before or if I had tried the alcoholic drinks which would be better. read more

The portions are ample and we had enough to share amongst the five of us - gobi manchurian in sauce (2/5): I found the consistency extra goey and actually lacking in flavor. Which was sad because Gobi Manchurian is my favorite dish ever! I would skip this and order a different entree to supplement the rice/noodles. -chili prawn (appetizer) (1/5): we got only 5 pieces which I felt for the price and flavor was very little. They are deep fried with chili flakes garnished on top, but was really lacking salt. I visited this restaurant for the first time on March 14th and wanted to share my experience. Overall: The food was good, and the service was solid -- no complaints there. However, the pricing felt very expensive for what you get. I spent over $200 for a group of six people (3 adults, 2 teens, and a child) -- and that was without alcohol. For example, a bowl of chicken fried rice was $21, yet it only contained about 2-3 servings. In comparison, a good Chinese restaurant might charge around $12 for a similar dish. While I enjoyed the food, I can't say this is a place I would visit regularly at this price point (about $40-$50 per person). For that cost, I feel there are better dining options with more upscale experiences that deliver greater value for money. That said, I do wish the restaurant well, and I hope they continue to thrive. The place has a good ambiance compared to other Indo Chinese restaurants around. The food tastes good, but I had heard that they make dishes hot and hence had requested for medium spicy, which wasn't hot enough for me. The food had flavor, and they did provide some spicy sauces on the side, but not that fits my taste or complemented the dishes. The best of all was the baby corn Manchurian, momos and Chilli garlic noodles. Would definitely like to try non veg food here sometime. We had reserved beforehand and didn't have to wait, but otherwise there might be a wait time during peak hours. The tables at the restaurant are pretty closely spaced.
