We did a door dash The stuffed mushrooms were over $12.00. They looked so good on the menu but what we got was a mushy mess that looked more like vomit that food. Rather disappointed in our most recent visit. Service was AWFUL. Food took over an hour. And management was absolutely no help. When the food finally reached the table, not only was it cold, but our plates scorching hot; suggesting they had been sitting under a lamp waiting to be expo'd. I hadn't been to red lobster in years but was really underwhelmed for the prices. Everything was good but not great and very prefab, Sysco-ish type of food. Really nice to be back... I've missed the food, especially the cheddar bay biscuits! Yum! They are keeping guest one table apart and asking folks to stay distant while they wait. They text you when your table is ready. I was told the wait would be about 30 minutes but I was texted in about 5 minutes! All of the staff wear masks or face shields. Obviously guests cannot wear them or they wouldn't be able to eat! The menu is limited choices just now. I suspect it's because sourcing all the ingredients might be problematic just now. Went for dinner with my daughter a week ago. I ordered the lobster linguini, my daughter the fish and chips. Our meals came in short order. The food was prepared well, but the portion sizes were very small. My daughter received a single piece of fish at a cost of $18. Strange because if you go anywhere else and order fish you always get at least 2 pieces. With appetizers and drinks our meal totaled $75. We left still hungry. But for the portion sizes everything else was fine. Will be hard to go back based on thar one issue alone. Too bad. We didn't have to wait very long for a table. We both ordered the Holiday Feast Lobster and Shrimp. While we were waiting the brought us out biscuits. I found it odd the waitress only brought 3 which means we would have to split one. When the waitress brought our dinners there was an empty lobster shell on top of the mashed potatoes with butter sauce inside the shell. There was only 4 small pieces of lobster cut up hiding in the potatoes which would have not even filled half the shell and 5 pieces of shrimp. I never had lobster served like that; EVER! Over 70 dollars plus I tipped the waitress 20% since she did do a decent job. Between my wife and I, we might have had a whole lobster tail combined. I will never go back there again; it was a total rip off! read more

I had been looking forward to trying this franchise location and was not disappointed. We dined during a weekday lunch period. My wife chose shrimp scampi, which was tasty but the shrimp was on the smaller size scale. I had the broiled flounder which was light and delicious. The mashed potatoes were delicious as prepared but if loaded up with butter, cheese, and chives became a fatty mess. The broccoli was al dente and tasty and the Caesar salad seasoned just right with dressing and topped with delicious grated cheese. The biscuits lived up to their reputation and required self-discipline to eat in moderation. The Argentinian shrimp with orzo rice were a bit bland but still enjoyable. The iced tea was prepared fresh and not overbrewed. Service was excellent with a thorough knowledge of the menu and timely attentiveness. The kitchen was a tad slow with the entrees especially since the restaurant was fairly empty. But if you want to enjoy seafood prepared well I recommend this franchise. read more

I waited for years to go to the Red Lobster but the situation was never right. Well, it was on my birthday this year and we went. I have to say I was disappointed. It's hard to order just a lobster tail. To get a nice plate you have to order two. I went ahead and ordered one with a side of baked potato. When it came that was it...a lobster tail and a cup of butter on the plate. The potato came alone in its own plate. My husband had fish and chips and he got cole slaw, fries and a nice plate of food. You would think for the price, even a lowly lobster tail would get a nice plate. Anyway, I don't think we'll spend our money there again. It's a nice, quiet place to eat and the employees are great, just order something else than the lobster. read more

Red Lobster next to the Boise mall is super awesome! The food is delicious and never a long wait time after odering. The food is always well cooked and tasty. We have been there a few times and the staff is always friendly, but the best server by far has been Sean. We stopped at Red Lobster after a loooong day at the office and we needed to refuel before finishing some errands. I've honestly never been here for the full shebang of crab or lobster but I love the lobster bisque soup and well... It's definitely soup season in Idaho! We started at the bar because there was actually a small wait for a table (on a Thursday night. I couldn't believe it but I didn't mind a drink after the day I had. The bar staff was awesome and the drinks were on point. One person at the table ordered his own meal of jumbo shrimp with broccoli. They mistakenly brought brussels sprouts instead (he was a good sport about it). They offered to bring out the broccoli but after tasting the Brussels sprouts he changed his mind. I have never had them and after stealing a bite from his plate they are now added to my grocery list. The rest of us all decided to order soup and split some appetizers and shrimp. We ordered lobster bisque, lobster pizza. The seafood dip and a choose 2 shrimp with mashed potatoes. I was a little underwhelmed with the popcorn shrimp and would only order fried shrimp or butterfly shrimp next time. We had more than enough food to share and even left with leftovers. My husband and I used to go just for the soup, biscuits and to share a lobster pizza. When I took my first bite of warm buttery biscuit dipped in the bisque I reminded myself that this needs to happen more often. Yummmm! I didn't catch your name, server guy, but thanks for running my camera out when I forgot it on the seat (I seem to forget things a lot =\) and for the entertaining dining experience! That was some of the best "crab kung-fu" I've seen, and I've watched the men on the wharf cleaning fresh-caught dungeness plenty of times. My fiance had seafood-stuffed flounder and snow crab. The flounder wasn't my thing, but he liked it. Crab was cooked perfectly and cracked/shelled for him by an expert tableside. I had the wood-grilled salmon and enjoyed it, but have had better. The coconut shrimp were huge and came with a nice dipping sauce that tasted like pina colada. The Caesar salads were fresh and just the right size. Nice portions, upper end of average food for most of what we had, and if you're lucky enough to get the same waiter the service is exceptional. read more

Been coming to red lobster for as long as some may remember back when they had the all you can eat crab fest. Wish they would do that again. Come here usually for dinner and it's decent crab and seafood not our favorite though. Stopped in for lunch today... we do like the Caesar salad's, well-made with tons of sliced fresh Parmesan over the top, they are yummy. Wife ordered her usual which is the coconut shrimp appetizer, she gets it as a meal. They are always good and enough food for her when she has a Cesar to her meal too. I opted for the fish and chips which I have not had here before. Probably won't order them again, Fish was cooked good with the perfect amount of breading but was a pretty small portion. I don't like their tartar sauce, it has a sweet flavor to it almost like they use miracle whip which I can't stand. The good: snow crab was delicious and generous. My kids enjoyed their meals of mac and cheese and fried fish. I was in today with a couple of friends on our lunch break, while we did get served our drinks in a timely manner we had to take our food to go!!! We were told by our server that we should let you know ahead of time that we were on our lunch so we could be bumped to the front with our orders (there were hardly any patrons in the restaurant, maybe 10 cars in the parking lot). I am sorry but Friday at 1230 should be assumed we are on our lunch. On top of it no utensils with our to go lunch. First time I have been in a long time, probably will not go back. This was going to be a one star review but quickly changed. We got there at 930 PM. It was not busy and we were seated quickly. We got our drinks fairly quick and the drink server said our food waitress would be with us shortly (the drink serving waitress was not very friendly). 15-20 minutes later, one of us had to go ask for someone to take our order. I have to add, that many of the wait staff were just standing around doing nothing. Finally got our order placed and eventually our endless shrimp began to flow and everything began to get better.
