I love this place the food is amazing every time! I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque I still cant get enough of it. The rolls are still to die for! I tried there seafood stuffed mushrooms very yummy! There is only 1 time I had a bad experience where the fish was not cooked all the way so my sister just didn't say anything and stayed hungry we let the waitress know they offered to remake it but by then my sisters stomach was weak from the experience and we still got charged for it. I always get their shrimp alfredo but I went in for my birthday on 05/2021 and I had ordered this dish again. I'm guessing the waitress got confused because I wanted lobster bisque as well. She served and charged me for the lobster alfredo instead. The service could be better the server was way too chatty about her personal life I felt like my friends and I were there counseling having to listen to her long rants. Food is always good here the workers could always improve im waiting for the day I have one great professional and attentive server here. I ordered the cedar plank Lobster with shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and broccoli. After waiting an hour and a half it finally came out. I was told that there was only one chef in the kitchen. This was on Wednesday at lunchtime. My bill was picked up by the manager which was really nice. I have to say most of the meal tasted good. The lobster was really small as were the shrimps. The problem with my meal was the way they served me my plate. The meal I picked was the " Admiral's Feast"......Walt's Favorite Shrimp, bay scallops, clam strips and sole fried to a golden brown. $18.99 All of the sea food was deep fried (I thought) but what I got was soggy sea food. It's ok. I've been here a number of times and always want to be more impressed. The food is adequate, nothing extra-ordinary. I regret choosing this chain over the local seafood shop across the street which I have been told has better food (I have yet to test those assertions). My meal was a Cajun Chicken Linguini (half) noodles were find and sauce and chicken were ok, but it was a bit greasy which surprised me with a cream sauce pasta. Cheddar Bay biscuits are tasty but very salty. Waiter was very good although I was perplexed at receiving our first soda refill when our first sodas had been brought to the table not 5 minutes prior. For the price ~ $15 per person, I think I could have chosen a better place, but at 9pm and not much time, this was ok for the evening. read more

Totally dissapointed with my takeout order of Fried Oysters at the Boise location. Menu claims it comes on a bed of fries. I ordered 12 oysters which amounts to two orders and a salad. My oysters came in varying small sizes minus the fries. The taste of the batter was very dissapointing also. Will not order there again. read more

Placed an order using grub hub for delivery. Ordered 2 chilled lobster and shrimp rolls, fried calamari appetizer and a side Cesar salad. The lobster/shrimp rolls were just ok, kinda lacked in seasoning. The fried calamari literally came with a tablespoon of marinara sauce. The Cesar side salad portion was retarded small, maybe half a cup and did not come with croutons as advertised in their menu, for $4 bucks I kinda expected more. Ok so I like the cheesy biscuits. Have not been a big fan of Red Lobster in the past but today for lunch wasn't to bad. Claim chowed in a fresh sourdough bread bowl and a side shrimp salad. Actually very good. The table next to me ordered a lobster platters and it looked very good. Small lobster so i don't think i would ever order it. $34.99 ouch... But my lunch for $10 was pretty good. Everyone working here was hustling with a good attitude and warm smile. Our waitress was friendly with a great sense of humor. Another waiter/food runner was really friendly and cared about our experience. The place was packed and food was cooked very well. I enjoyed all of my four courses for $15... Salad, buttery clam chowder, BBQ shrimp with broccoli and frenched onions, then a key lime pie. Worth it! We went to Red Lobster again today to take part in Endless Shrimp and loved it! Red Lobster is masterful when it comes to shrimp. Red lobster where do I begin. For starters our server was fantastic she was very charismatic, super charming, communicated any little thing and checked on us when it was appropriate. (Not too often but often enough to refill our drinks with out asking) The place is clean, I love the atmosphere! However the food... It was plated really sloppy. I give the food a solid 3 because I bet 10/10 people could plate and make the food taste better than Red Lobster. It is way over priced for the crappy food they put out. And I noticed on the menu it said the lobsters are fresh from the Atlantic...... we're on the polar opposite side of the Atlantic Ocean. I ordered a lobster tail (last one) and the waitress tells me shipment comes on Monday..... it was Sunday..... I had a week old lobster basically. Awesome! We had such a good dinner today. They have an extensive food and beverage menu, with all sorts of combination aimed at providing variety at an affordable cost. Our server, Jillian was very kind, gracious and helped us with our food order so we don't end up with wastage. Was really looking forward to a great meal but what a disappointment the lobster was dry and over cooked, we asked four times for more bread and were told it would be just a minute we never got more bread. The woman who delivered our appetizer to the table was rude, telling us you have to move your drinks so I can set this down very rudely. Went last night with my family. Poor service and sub-par food. I sent my entree back and did not reorder it was that unappetizing. We had to ask twice for biscuits before we got any and it took 20min to get them. My wife had to ask for green onions for her "LOADED" Potato and when she finally got them they were dry and wilted, we asked for fresh cut and were again given dry wilted onions and the manager himself said they were fresh cut and even argued with my about it. JUST A HEADS UP! I received an email from red lobster about unlimited $8.99 soup and salad. It is really "starting" at $8.99. There are 3 soups to choose from clam chowder, potato and lobster bisque (with no Lobster). If you choose the lobster bisque the waitress will inform you that they no longer put lobster in the lobster bisque. I ordered the soup and salad and started with clam chowder. My second soup was going to be lobster bisque One thing she didn't mention upfront was there is an up charge of $3 for the bisque. I passed on the lobster bisque. The waitress was nice enough to tell me it was touch and go. Sometimes it is good and other times not so good. My second soup was baked potato soup I didn't care for the baked potato soup. The clam chowder was good but I have had better and the salad was fine. The waitress told me the additional $3 is in fine print somewhere on the menu. Also I was told on weekends the price is higher. I came in on Thursday night for dinner with my husband. Normally I'm not a chain restaurant kind of girl, but I was given a gift card. I hadn't been to Red Lobster in ages and as I recall my last experience was nothing to write home about. When I came in last night it was surprisingly busy, yet everything inside was running smoothly. We were served our drinks promptly and our orders were taken within minutes. My husband went with the surf & turf and I opted for the admirals feast. Our food was served quickly and it was pretty good, I was a tad disappointed as my husbands meal was better than mine. My clan strips were a bit over cooked and the prices seemed a little high. Not to mention there was a mix up and we were almost charged for someone else's (very expensive) meal on top of our own. Luckily my husband was vigilant and noticed the error before handing over his card. Our server fixed that error and we went along our way. Overall, it was a decent meal and those biscuits are pretty much the best in the biz... But I won't be back anytime soon. read more
