Out of all of the Red Lobsters I visit, I swear this one is the best. The food is always cooked well and flavorful. It hits the table hot and comes out quickly. The 5 Stars is for the same server I had the last 2 trips to this location, Kimberly. She may very well be the best server I've ever had. Anywhere. She is amazing. Anticipates the little things, like bringing extra ice separately from your iced tea. Super friendly. She also makes you feel like you are the only one she's taking care of. And she does exactly that. Takes good care of you. Checks in frequently and really treats you like family. I will be returning and asking to sit in her area!!! read more

I was craving some seafood and was literally just going here to satiate the urge as i know their reputation isn't that great but i was blown out of the water. I ordered the pick three and got salmon, shrimp, and lobster. The lobster was perfect, shrimp was delicious, and salmon was on par with a high end restaurant. My hubby got the salmon bowl and the brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. Yes, the decor is not that great and a bit cheesy but the service was good and i felt they were respecting the Covid laws and were taking precautions. Did join the wait list , was seated within 5 mins & there was a line so that was cool . However after being seated well that's a different story we didn't get greeted after we sat down for 10 mins, when we were finally greeted I told our waitress I need to take a pill asp , I needed water an order a soda besides the water , that took 5 mins Order our food at the same time as our drinks , our salad came out right away. Our food came out , it was wrong we mention it to the sever who brought it out he said okay I'll be back he didn't come back , had to wait for the waitress to come to our table & that took a while . By the time she came back my potato was cold because I was waiting for butter for the potato. I'm not sure if the waitress was overwhelmed or she had to many tables , the service wasn't that great . In Bakersfield they work as a team they would help other waiters an waitress an even managers help out . This location I didn't see that , maybe they should get tips from the red lobster in Bakersfield. 3 stars because the waitress was really friendly just unfortunately the service was slow!!! read more

Loved Red Lobster lots of fond memories of gathering and milestones celebrated in the Santa Clarity location for many years. I went to Red Lobster about a month and ordered Brussel sprouts with my meal and they tasted old, but I ate a couple of additional bites and immediately felt sick, got home and was sick for many hours. I never said anything to the restaurant as I thought it was just one of those things but did have concerns to go back to this location, so I decided to meet a friend in the Canoga Park location because of the recent advertising of the street corn and shrimp. We sat and ordered our drinks while we waited for our order. Pina Colada and Mango martini were amazingly good. We got our orders, and I noticed very little corn when I asked for more, waiter said he can't, so I offered to pay. He was kind and asked the manager to come over and explain. The manager at this time was Julie Johnson, she came over with a very bad attitude and said "I understand there is a problem" I replied no problem I just wanted to buy more corn and waiter said he could not sell it to me. Julie went into this big explanation about costs and how they are trying to keep their head above water and clients don't understand it's expensive always asking for extra sauce, biscuits and that the corn is only a garnishment not a side, etc. etc. To the normal person she could have been intimidating but I wanted her to settle down without being so combative. She finally said "I'm sorry that's the way it is, and you can call our regional manager which I replied not necessary. When I asked the waiter for her name again, she came back and said why don't we put you down for complimentary meal and I replied not necessary, so she walked away. When I looked at my friend's meal, her pasta was almost untouched, and I asked if she didn't like it and she said it's dry and after the manager went on about cost and extra stuff, she decided to just let it be and not ask for more sauce. Neither one of us finished our meals. I would think that the Red Lobster executives, as they go through all their financial struggles, would try to hire managers that are better equipped to handle these kinds of situations without being so combative and offensive. I went to take my mom for her birthday dinner. We drove 40 minutes to get here. First let's start with having to wait 20 minutes to get a half booth when we made a reservation for a full BOOTH. The "manager" Matthew was rude when I asked why did we have to wait when we had a reservation already. He disregarded my question and stated we needed to wait. 20 minutes later we got seated and our server ( Michelle g) asked if we are celebrating anything I said yes my mom's birthday. She started us with drinks and then came back 20 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order appetizers we did. Not to mention the biscuits we are supposed to get arrived with the food we ordered ( what is the point if we are getting our food already. The food got there 20 more minutes later we saw a table that was seated after us get their food before us. The food finally got here and it was cold , no seasoning, the whole time we were eating not one time did Michelle g ask us if we were doing okay or if we needed anything. The whole experience made me and my family VERY uncomfortable to the point where I had to ask for the bill. I didn't even want to stay any longer in this atmosphere with these people. The bill was $171 I wish I could get my money back because this was horrible. We started to pay and Matthew the manager asked us ( he could see on our face we were not happy) he asked how was your guys' dinner. I said nothing and smiled as well as my grandma said nothing. He said "aw" sarcastically. I felt as this was very unprofessional from the start. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone due to the rudeness and unnecessary remarks. The experience was so bad during the meal I wrote down the servers and managers name. Nice Red Lobster location. We stopped here several times after leaving Magic Mountain and it was awesome. Ordered a lobster plate with potatoes and vegetables. Place is nice and clean. The food was good. The shrimps were a little on the salty side. The food was a bit pricey. Two adults and two kids cost $100. They have happy hour and cheap lunch specials but the main menu was expensive. We ordered the calamari. It was not all calamari. Food and decor is just like any other restaurant chain. Service is spotty with a few people, but our servers were absolutely wonderful! The food: Cheddar Biscuits: 5/5, the biscuits are light and fluffy and buttery! They go great with a soup or salad. Caesar Salad: 5/5, A salad comes with most entrees, but I always choose their Caesar. It's simple and tasty and light! Shrimp Linguini Alfredo: 4/5, a little dense for my liking (but completely understandable since it is alfredo!) That being said, the sauce is tasty and the pasta was cooked well. Brownie & Ice Cream Dessert: 5/5, I was really expecting a dry brownie, but heck no! The brownie was sooooo good. It was soft and chewy and the kind that just melts in your mouth. Service: The two ladies at the front were very dismissive and slow! They took forever just to seat us (we were the only ones there!). And when they finally found a table for us, they were just standing there checking their Facebook page on their cell phones, and yes I did see you on your phone. Red Lobster has a Four Course Feast $17.99 running right now. Really great deal with a ton of food, not to mention the free Cheddar Biscuits! Choice of soup: we ordered one of each Clam Chowder and Potato Bacon. Choice of salad: we both ordered Caesar and it was a giant bowl. Choice of entree: I got the Shrimp and Scallop Pasta, my husband the Jumbo Coconut Shrimp and Grilled Shrimp. Choice of Desert: Triple chocolate brownie ala mode and caramel cheesecake. We had to take most of it To Go because we filled up on the Cheddar Biscuits and soup course! The only negative was the Shrimp and Scallop pasta had a watery/runny alfredo sauce. We haven't been to Red Lobster in awhile, but decided to give it another try last night. Prince was our server and he was pleasant, helpful and attentive. We had the shrimp and lobster tacos (excellent) and the salmon (also great). The grilled Brussels sprouts were outstanding (the only way to eat them) and the chocolate cake and brownie sundae desserts were a perfect way to close out our meals. I'm pretty disappointed, ordered the sirloin & lobster tail, I was told they were out of sirloin, the substitutes offered were a fillet or ny steak, our meal came to the table, we ate, received our bill, turned out they jacked up the price on my steak & lobster due to the forced substitution, without notice, when I arrived at home I started thinking about my meal, I then realized I was not served a proper lobster tail, take into consideration that I've ordered this meal many times in the past, I was actually given a petite lobster, my daughter had the same size tail on her kid's menu plate, I don't understand if this is all related to covid supply issues, if that's the case that's fine, I understand, but someone should have alerted me of what was to come. My husband and I always eat at the Valencia location and have always received excellent service from all of the staff. As we are "frequent flyers", we have a waiter we love...Wilner! He has always been more than excellent. My husband only has one arm and has difficulty accessing some of the food, but Wilner has always jumped right in and helped him without even being asked. A genuine disappointment I spent the better part of 40 bucks plus tips and tax - about $50 for a lackluster possibly frozen robbery lobster that's seasoned to complete imperfection... To me this dirty place with unkempt staff reminded me of a fast food restaurant that was pushing the boundaries of my comprehension I was so looking forward to trying a red lobster because my gosh they should have it down right? My heart would have said at least for a quality taste but nope! I added loads of salt, pepper and what not! One of the dish we ordered was just soaked in soy sauce. Disgusting! Stopped by here with my boyfriend's family for lunch earlier today, around 12:30 or so. The cheddar biscuits are most definitely one of the best parts of coming by here, so I'm definitely mentioning them as a reason to come back! I ordered the lunch-special portion of Linguini Alfredo with shrimp and it was pretty good, though significantly overpriced despite the fact that it was supposed to be a sort of special. The food itself was good, however, and the strawberry lemonade was amazing! It's a bit out of the way in terms of where I live, so it's definitely somewhere that I won't be frequenting -- I'd much rather save it for a special occasion or whenever we're in the area. The service was speedy and pleasant; I only knocked it down one star because of its location and because of the priciness of their smaller-sized portions. Very pleasant experience. The Salmon New Orleans was really good! I paired it with lobster baked potato, asparagus, and lobster bisque soup. Our waitress Taylor was very sweet and she did a great job checking on us to make sure we were good on refills, napkins, and other needs. She knew the menu well and was able to offer good suggestions based on what I told her I was looking for. The restaurant had a nice western-like theme and it was pretty spacious, so our stroller wasn't blocking the walkway the way it usually does elsewhere. Went here on my birthday 3/6 Friday 3pm, after plunking down thousands on a camera modification...but that's not the point. Got a lunch special and chilled next to a group that was out celebrating. It was a nice relaxing wonderful meal that just made my day. Because I am low key and love a neighborhood atmosphere. This reminded of the laid back times of small town watering hole...and the bar/server Julie (?) was absolutely awesome! She completely brought back good memories of when people acted like humans. Red Lobster! Always been one of my family's favorite places to eat. I personally enjoy coming to this restaurant more than the Red Lobster in West Hills, mainly for its slightly better atmosphere and service. The CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS & CLAM CHOWDER are always a must for me here. I tried their new petite lobster roll as an appetizer as well and it was ok...I wasn't expecting much of it but it was good. You'll finish it in 3 bites lol I ordered the Lobster, Salmon and Shrimp plate and it was delicious! I think this is gonna be my order whenever I come here now because you get a little of everything! Solid Experience, was early to work so I stopped in for lunch, I have not had Red Lobster in forever. First and Foremost: CHEDDAR BISCUITS - The glorious soft, buttery, and addicting biscuits still are being served. They were fantastic and give this auto 3 stars. The place is super clean, the bathroom was immaculate and the environment was calm, came in around 2pm on a Friday. Server was chill, soft spoken, and I got the lunch special. The chicken tenders were super good. Crispy, Flavorful, Juicy on the inside, really went well with the ranch sauce. Lost a star with the shrimp, tasted kinda funky so I killed it with Cocktail Sauce, hope I don't get sick but I should be fine. We placed our order over 4 hrs ago and the door dash guy said there is a significant delay and he's been waiting outside for our food for 30 minutes! The guy also mentioned that their phones are constantly ringing but no one is even picking up (no wonder I've been on hold for 15 minutes!) Today is Mother's Day and I get it's busy but we placed our order 4+ hours ago! This is absolutely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional! Anyone who knows me knows I'm not much of a chain restaurant fan. The food is usually average at best and the environments tend to be kitschy and unimaginative. All of these things apply to Red Lobster. We went out to dinner with friends last night and it was their pick of the night. So off we went. It's crab fest and hubby had snow crab, his favorite. He said it was fresh and. Wet tasty. For the price, it should be! I had garlic grilled shrimp and stuffed sole. The sole was mushy and tasteless and the shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. I ordered their Caprese salad as my side - it was a nice surprise but the dressing was watery because they'd apparently failed to drain the tomatoes or the mozzarella before assembling the salad, or perhaps it was made in bulk. So I'll be back Red Lobster, in three or four years after I've forgotten how pedestrian your menu is. One last thing: how can you call yourself a sea food restaurant and serve farmed tilapia? My girlfriend and I came here tonight for dinner since we both can't recall when was the last time we ate here. The lot is a pretty big size since it's near Six Flags but the lighting make it looks hidden. My girlfriend put us down on the waitlist through yelp but they weren't busy when we walked in so we got seated right away. Our waiter came to take our order of drinks and appetizers when we got seated. My girlfriend ordered their clam Chowder and we just got soda for our drinks. She didn't really like the clam Chowder. Then the bread came and I thought it was very salty, I only took a bite then that was it. I got the wood grilled lobster, shrimp and salmon due to the picture on the menu looking delicious but when the plate got delivered the salmon looks nothing like the picture. It also lacked seasoning, the broccoli taste like it was over steamed so I added pepper to add some taste. The lobster was salty, I mostly liked the shrimp. I give a 2 star because the manager came and check on all the tables but I'm not the type to complain unless the food is very bad like not fully cooked. read more

I went in for lunch today and sat at the bar. The restaurant was empty and did not appeared busy but it took the bar tender 20 minutes to bring the bread. 10 minutes later I asked him about my food and told him I had been waiting for 30 minutes. He replied he placed the order 10 minutes prior to me asking and that it would take 5-10 more minutes. After waiting for 45 minutes and not seeing the bartender return, I went to the hostess and told her to have the manager call me. I gave her my name and number and left the restaurant. If ever I'm in the area, then I'll always stop in to get some chowder and those cheddar bay biscuits! Luckily, I was in town and decided to pop in. I was waited on by Mary, the bartender, and she was super friendly, down to earth, and had a "wicked" Boston accent. I connected with her immediately. She suggested a new shrimp appetizer on the menu, so I thought I'd trust her and give it a whirl. So glad that I did! She was right - it was delicious! The clam chowder and the biscuits were just as good as I remembered. Before I left, Mary happily brought me some biscuits to go (can't wait to have those later) and she gave me a to-go cup for my water. Perfect! Love it when I get service that exceeds my expectations. If you're ever in the Valencia area, this Red Lobster is a hit. Friendly staff, clean place, and fast service. I couldn't ask for more. Thanks for taking such great care of me today, Mary. Walking into this place is hard to find the front door building is dark, entering, there's a smell in the restaurant. I was seated promptly. My server greeted me promptly, but I ordered a Cadillac margarita which he forgot and brought later the clam chowder they gave me had no flavor what so ever to it, tasted like warm cream. Got my "Cadillac margarita" and it tasted like crap I could not drink it. I guess sent it back. Got my shrimp scampi. Got some biscuits. Scampi had no flavor although it was hot. Came in with my family after a hurricane harbor fun day, party of 7 (3 kids) it took literally 25 minutes to receive beverages, and about another 45 minutes after the initial 25 minutes to get our food. There was only 2 other tables sat (who were already eating) and a single guy came in after we finally received our drinks, he got his food way before we did. We had 3 kids meals microwaveable max and cheese, a burger, one pasta and two shrimp plates. Our server at first was in a "mood" and not very friendly or inviting, then he warmed up a little but barely. I gave 2 stars not 1 because he finished off mediocre. When we walked out there was 2 girls I'm guessing hostess or other servers and not even any acknowledgement to our exit. They had better things to talk about I guess. read more
