Red lobster is one of our favorites places to eat, went for lunch , new menu , some specials and the rolls never disappoint! I had the shrimp trio , honestly thought it was going to be small portions, like an appetizer, but no it wasn't, served on a huge dinner plate and delicious! Kimberly our server was the BEST, she was so attentive and kind, smiling always , definitely understands and applies Great work ethic!! Not that many Red Lobsters around so if you get a chance, check them out !! I love their decor and theme too so cool

This is our favorite spot, the ambience is always nice. Service is excellent and food is always prepared to perfection and always fresh. Our server, Shay, made sure we got exactly what we wanted. She was sweet, patient (yes, I do tend to change the entrees to my liking see the photo) Well, what can I say, I know what I like and want she was very professional and hospitable, 10/10 service from our dear Shay. Will mention, their manager Peter, who was attentive, courteous and made us laugh, which put us in even better mood. Love seeing people like that. Great food and great people are the great reason to always come back to our favorite spot. Worth mentioning. Their clam chowder is just so flavorful, I love when I don't have to fish for clams and my spoon is full of it with every time I try. Great great experience every time, highly recommend this location

$5 happy hour drinks? Sign me up. I haven't been to any Red Lobsters since the major location closures but I was driving back from a trip and decided to stop in the Valencia location near Magic Mountain. Place was packed on a weeknight. Happy hour is 3-6p weeknights (my $5 Mark West Pinot wine was so needed that night while consuming my cheddar biscuits). I ordered a Lobster Shrimp/Salmon plate ($47.99) was so tasty on a huge plate that anyone would need a doggie bag. Lobster tail was so delish which was my favorite. I did like the shrimp and salmon as well. Sides I opted for potato and broccoli. Everything was buttered and seasoned well. My server Roxy was attentive and amazing. Parking lot was huge and plenty of room. It was a lovely time overall. Thank you Red Lobster for bringing me back to old memories that I miss so much. I will stop by again when driving on my trips.

I don't get to visit Red Lobster often since there aren't many locations in Los Angeles County, but I happened to be near the Valencia location during happy hour and decided to pop in. I started with a $5, 20-ounce Blue Moon. It was crisp, ice cold, and served in a chilled mug nothing beats that on a 90°+ day. For an appetizer, I asked my server Edwin, who was great, by the way for a recommendation. He mentioned the seafood dip with flatbread or the seafood stuffed mushrooms. I went with the mushrooms. They were served piping hot with melted cheese and a buttery sauce, but the imitation seafood stuffing wasn't my favorite. I'd give them 3/10 for flavor. For my main, I ordered the Mariner's Boil $50.99 and added Cajun sausage (loved the sausage since they were well done) $6.49 plus an Old Bay butter ($3.49) on the side. The boil came with lobster, crab, shrimp, 1/2 dozen red potatoes, and two corn cobs. Edwin suggested mixing the roasted garlic butter with the Cajun butter so good! The crab was sweet and easy to eat, and the shrimp was good. The lobster was decent but a touch undercooked for my taste. There were a lot of red potatoes, but they were undercooked and the corn was clearly frozen and a bit mushy but the butter helped. The atmosphere feels like the early '90s classic Red Lobster nostalgia from back when we'd go for birthdays or graduations. While a little dated, it's part of the charm. And they didn't offer me biscuits not too sure if you're supposed to ask for them either way I didn't get them :( Overall: * Appetizer: 3/10 * Mariner's Boil: 6/10 * Service: 10/10, thank you, Edwin! Total with tax was $86.11 before tip. Would I return? Possibly, but I'd make a few tweaks to my order.

Lobsterfest Boil with Old Bay and Butter seasoning

We were supposed to go somewhere for lunch but as we passed by Red Lobster on the 5 freeway, he started talking about it and I mentioned that I have never been to a Red Lobster. We made the immediate decision to exit to head out here. I read the reviews and saw that "smell" was an issue so I expected to smell something. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted right away and didnt have to wait to be seated since they just opened. I can immediately smell the old musky smell but it wasnt that bad. It was expected since they have a tank with lobsters by the front desk. Not long after we got seated, our server took our drink order then brought us a basket of complimentary biscuits. It was warm and good. It wasnt anything like Popeye's biscuit. We ordered the "Lobsterfest Boil" which came with 4 decent sized Maine Lobster tails, a dozen shrimp, some 2 corn on a cob and several red potatoes. For the seasoning, we got the Old Bay and Butter and opt for medium spicy. I cant tolerate super spicy and this one has a kick to it. The flavor of the seasoning was good. Our only complaint was that the shrimp could have been a little bigger. The shrimp that came with our order was really small. Service was great. Our server checked on us a few times and refilled his drink twice. The price is decent being that its seafood. We both had to use the restroom to clean our hands and face to get rid of the shrimp/seafood smell. Yes, there is a weird smell inside the bathroom which I suspect is from their sewage or pipes. Overall, my first time at a Red Lobster was great.

I couldn't even tell you when our last Red Lobster experience was. The last time we were craving, we were sadly met with a closed location. Fate brought us to the Valencia location, obvi! Sitting a traffic, a glance to our right, then immediately drawn into the big Lobsterfest signage at the roofline. See fate! The decor was exactly how I remembered it to be. Could use an update but then again, it's what you expect to see. Decent size lobster tank right in the restaurant lobby as you walk in. Several split off dining rooms and seating areas. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We order the cheddar biscuits right away, a must! Came out hot and fluffy just like we remember them. Oh the nostalgia! We also ordered: -Fried Calamari -Lobsterfest meal: Lobster & Shrimp Linguini. Garlic Butter Lobster Tail, Caribbean Rock Tail, Bacon Mac & Cheese, Crispy Brussels Sprouts Fave dishes were the biscuits, duh. Also both lobster tails, and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. I am a sucker for brussels, will always order them if I see them on the menu. Glad we shared meals instead of ordering full plates for ourselves. The 3 item Lobsterfest meal with the 2 sides was plenty for the two of us.

I haven't been to Red Lobster in almost ten years but last Friday I decided to see what the new menu was hittin on. I ordered the Crab Your Way and it did not disappoint. I order the bairdi crab with cajun butter and a side salad. The crab was so fresh and full of meat. I felt like a pig eating a pound of crab at the bar. Lol! The bartender, Kevin, was so nice and sweet. He recommended that I come back for happy hour next time because the drinks are 5 bucks. Needless to say, I went back this past Friday with a friend this time. We sat at the bar with Kevin and ordered the new Mariner's Seafood Boil. Again, the crab was fresh. The lobster was delish and those potatoes were bomb. Lol!! Big ups to the nee CEO. He did his thing with reviving Red Lobster.

My party and I decided to stop by Red Lobster after a full day at Six Flags Magic Mountain, and it really hit the spot. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. Biscuits came out hot and fresh - cracking a little black pepper between them takes to the next level. Service was quick and efficient, both for the apps and mains. I decided to split an entree with a friend, and the portion was very generous. Food really hit the spot!

Lobster & shrimp linguini, cheddar biscuits, and crab carbonara.

This was my first time dining at a Red Lobster and I have to say that the food and experience are quite underrated. I think most people tend to dine at a Chili's, Yard House, or Applebee's but Red Lobster has the potential to be as popular as its competitors. I personally think Red Lobster is the underdog because of its expertise on seafood, which can be tricky among different customers. Anyway, my husband and I had lunch at this location last Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't busy at all. We were seated very quickly and our server's name was Anya, I believe. She was kind and accommodating to our needs and requests. The food was also delicious and filling; the cheddar biscuits were fluffy and savory, and the crab carbonara I ordered exploded with flavor. My husband had the lobster & shrimp linguini, which was also delectable. We probably won't be back soon since we are actually not from the Santa Clarita area, but if we ever are, we may dine in again!

One of the few Red Lobsters standing in the area (the Red Lobster in Oxnard has already been replaced by Kalaveras), my husband and I came here to eat lunch with my brother. They open at 11am on a Sunday morning so we arrived to be the first patrons there. It's located next to In N Out in Valencia and there's a small parking lot between the two restaurants. I really appreciate the layout of the restaurant when we got seated in a booth because it looks like there's separate rooms with a few dining tables and chairs so it's like you have your own private party room lol The decor here is great because it feels like an old school authentic Red Lobstery out-in-the-sea marina vibe lol We had awesome service by a gal (forgot her name) and she brought out the famous cheddar bay biscuits hot and ready for us throughout our meal. My husband and brother got tequila shots and heads up, they come in 2 oz shot cups :P I enjoyed my limited-time only Crabfest menu of a plate of 1 lb of crab legs your way (garlic butter) over cripsy potatoes and a side of steamed broccoli. It was soo good! The crab legs were generous sizes and portions and you get a metal crab cracker tool and utensil to eat the crab legs. It was soo much food I needed a to-go container for it. Our total bill with tax + tip came out to about ~$200 since each tequila shot was $12.99 each :)

We've dined in before but that was a long time ago & I couldn't recall the experience. Anyhow, husband made some bomb sticky rice the day before and since we had no ideas for what to make tonight, this sounded like a great solution! I highly recommend this deal! I ordered the 1lb head on shrimp. Daddy sauce. Mild. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. At first I thought it was too spicy, after a few, I realized it was the perfect amount of spice. The portion was plentiful. Husband had the fish po' boy with garlic fries and said it was great. Total was $31 including tax.

That table opened the dish and ate some of the rice. Instead of immediately discarding the entire plate and remaking the meal, the server brought the same dish back to me after realizing the mistake. I was told "they didn't touch it," which was completely untrue. Once food has been served to another table and opened, it should NEVER be given to another guest -- especially seafood. This is basic food safety. The fact that this was even debated is alarming. There was no compensation, no manager intervention, and no real accountability -- just a casual apology. Only the rice was replaced, which does not resolve the fact that the rest of the dish had already been handled and served elsewhere. This was not a minor mistake; it was a serious hygiene and professionalism failure. I should not have to question whether my food is safe to eat. Serving food that has already been eaten by another table isn't just careless -- it's unsafe, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.

I stopped in to grab takeout for my husband and me and was told the order wouldn't take long. The server was helpful and answered all my questions, so I felt good about the order: clam chowder, half-order lemon pepper wings, a catfish dinner with an extra side of shrimp, and grilled salmon with two sauces on the side (and cooked medium). After waiting 45 minutes--which already felt excessive for this order--I decided to check the food. I'm glad I did. The salmon was overcooked (well done instead of medium) with the sauce already poured on top. The lemon pepper wings had barely any seasoning, like it was added after they were already dry. And they completely forgot the shrimp. The server took everything back to fix it, but that took another 30 minutes. By then, my husband's catfish (and for $19, you only get one filet) and his cheddar side were cold, and the Caesar salad was wilted and warm. When the salmon finally came back--after another 20 minutes--it was still overcooked, now rock hard, and completely unseasoned. It felt like they were relying on sauce to do all the work, but even that missed the mark. The shrimp also tasted like pre-packaged frozen, not fresh. Nearly $90 later, we didn't enjoy any part of the meal. I'd suggest sticking to the boil if you come here, because based on this experience, everything else fell short.

The street front seating and building architecture is very appealing and welcoming. As you enter the main doors, you are greeting by friendly staff. We were offered any open seating, we decided to take a table against the back wall that was adjacent to the entry. The decor inside is very rustic with a touch of micro brewery, the ceiling has many tap handles that adorn the ceiling. The menu and food, we were initially drawn into the Refinery since they seem to be the only spot that offered Brunch and Mimosas in the downtown street. Key point of clarification, the Mimosas are simi bottomless (you have 90 min) to pour down, some of us really like Mimosas, plus the price was just slightly higher that we typically expect at 27, per person. Were they good, yes, so we decided to go with one Mimosa and an Old Fashion drink, it was very well done, Buffalo Trace Bourbon. We ordered from the Brunch menu, the Steak and Eggs, cooked to your liking, they did a great job on both, the one item that we were less impressed with were the overcooked Oreda looking potatoes that accompanied the meals. We also ordered the Cacio e Pepe Beni, Prosciutto, perfect poached eggs and all of the other fixings, it was great testing and the presentation was amazing. As far as my overall rating I could not give it a 5 star due to what other customers have shared in their reviews, the wait staff is not timely, almost forced friendly and possibly just lacking some restaurant experience, they did not come around or notice things like empty water glasses and a few other things, could have been understaffed possibly on this day. Overall I would still recommend the Refinery due to the location, atmosphere, drinks and main dish prep. Thank you for providing a break from reality during a very trying time in our family.
