Mango cake was requested for my girl's bday. Called ahead and placed an order which was easy and convenient. Their website limits the characters and couldn't get the full Happy Birthday and name on the cake, which was a bummer but the call was quick and easy. Just needed a few hours notice. Love that they add a few candles just in case and had a cake knife when requested. We didn't use the candles, but is thoughtful. Only blip was the website and cake was a bit pricy for size, but delicious. I also tried a couple of empeñadas. Spicy chicken and beef. They were just ok. I guess I prefer the Argentinian ones more. Very poor service. When I ordered and paid for me and my two sons arrozcaldo orders (3), I was told 15-20 minutes to make it. Only two customers inside the store at that time. This was at 802 pm. I ordered and paid exactly at 802 (time stamp in receipt)), 40 minutes later no freaking arrozcaldo. I checked on our orders at the counter and spoke with the woman manager. She then told me that she was not informed by the male cashier when I paid for my order. But she had walked past us twice coming out of the kitchen twice! And we were the only customers inside the store. She should've monitored our orders since we've been waiting there sitting at the table next to the kitchen door. Woman manager also told me that the cook took a break and that she has to make another arrozcaldo. I was mad! Then all of a sudden miraculously a third arrozcaldo appeared but eating it at home I noticed it tasted awful and it only had one tiny slice of egg. She tried to offer a refund but I flatly refused! The male cashier wanted to physically fight me but was stopped by the woman manager. This deserves a -1 star review for BAD service!!! read more

I stopped by this location to pick up some items for an upcoming trip. My beautiful lady is a huge fan of ube and she wanted to try a few of these pastries. I ended up getting two ube mamons, two ube ensaimadas, and a moist chocolate slice. I was here around lunch time but there weren't too many people. The lady behind the counter was friendly and handled my check out quickly. I asked her a question regarding the amount of time the prepackaged patties will remain fresh, and she politely told me 5ish days. After a wonderful breakfast at DJ B* with some Y* friends, we walked over to this Red Ribbon Bakeshop to check out some Filipino desserts. This is the second Red Ribbon location I've visited. The first location is in Rancho Cucamonga. What a wonderful bakeshop! Very bright and inviting. They have indoor seating only... just a few tables. It also has a connecting door to Seafood City. They offer various kinds of whole cakes (round, rectangular), slices of cakes, and rolls. If you don't know what's good, you can try their Sampler that consists of 4 different cakes (mango supreme, black forest, ube, choco mocha crunch). I have tried a few of their cakes... my favorite is the choco mocha crunch. I also like their cheese mamon... they have other flavors, too. For this visit, I got the mango roll to be shared with everybody. Surprisingly, it was enough for 10 people. We sang happy birthday to one of our Y* friend and one of our Y* friend's daughter. It was so much fun! The mango roll was okay... it was a tad sweeter than I would like. Btw, this location sells Filipino savory foods such as empanadas, pancit, chicken arroz caldo, too. I haven't tried the savory side, but I'll definitely be back to check out their pancit palabok... I hear it's delicious! Staff was so nice and helpful. I asked for plates, forks, and water and the nice lady asked how many... now that's service. Thank you so much! Such a wonderful first experience here Melita was incredibly kind, welcoming, and just so sweet from the moment we walked in. I came in with my two kids, and she made us feel so comfortable right away. She even offered us brownies to try, which was such a thoughtful touch.
