I called Redline Moving to help us move all our stuff from our third floor one bedroom apartment to a three bedroom townhouse. From the start the crew were extremely professional and gave the impression they really knew what they were doing which is exactly what I needed as I was so stressed out with logistics and getting everything prepared. We ended up calling in a third guy in to help things go a bit more smoothly (had more to move than I thought!) and the entire time Ivan was extremely transparent about timing, pricing, and what was needed to get the job done which really impressed me! With lots of stairs and record high temperatures it was not the most fun move ever, but they were in good spirits and treated all of our items with care and precision - nothing was broken or scuffed at all. I had to reschedule the move several times and eventually it was scheduled several months from the original move date. I chatted with Tony and he was always helpful and understanding And when move day finally (finally) came everything went well. They arrived on time, actually arrived early! And true to their word they called when they were about 30 minutes away. It wasn't the most organized move but that was my fault. (In the past I've been very organized with everything packed correctly and as few boxes as possible. For this move I was unable to do much of the packing and prep work myself due to health issues. So I had other people, not the moving company, pack me) . I wasn't organized and they were many more there should've been. On top of that place I was moving to wasn't completed they couldn't place things in appropriate areas. They had to place my furniture and boxes as if they were going to storage in my new place! But they had to keep a certain distance from the walls and avoiding entire rooms as well. And they had to work around construction crew. Even given these limitations they managed to move my belongings efficiently, within an appropriate time period and professionally. Alibek, the foreman was so helpful polite and courteous. I also thought their rate was competitive. Fair and reasonable. And I paid in cash so that's another reason why their rate is quite good. Never hired professional moving services before. I usually buy a ton of supplies at Home Depot, hire a couple of Labor seeking guys outside to help me, rent a truck and do most of the work myself. Their price and terms were the best of all the replies I received. Mike and Eugene (sp) arrived early on Thursday for my move. They reviewed everything, carefully wrapped and moved my items. They packed everything into my storage unit. Not only did they do a good job, but they were masked, very polite and efficient. They came next day (today) wearing gloves and masks- super professional! They were moving fast and efficient, they had all of the equipment- wardrobes, blankets, plastic wrap you name it! And that was included in the price which was fair. They are cheaper than anyone else I talked to and they didn't call me a thousand times asking if I wanted to use them. From the first interaction over Thumbtack to the move, I had a great experience. Tony who handled communications in the beginning made me feel at ease with my decision on selecting them with my move. Very clear on what to expect during the move and the cost of the move. It happen to be Super Bowl weekend which meant a ton of traffic, the crew communicated they were going to delayed to traffic and kept us in informed till arrival. When arriving we had a parking situation due to the building rules, the crew worked with me to help diffused the situation which I appreciated very much. As the move continued, it was very apparent that move was going to take more than 4 hours like we intended. We had more stuff than anticipated and in total it took about 7 hours to move which the team work their ass off to move us safely and efficiently. Unfortunately I did not get the crew's name but they were amazing, very kind and considerate. They adapted to whatever came our way and we had a successful move.
