This morning myself and 4 friends had a ladies brunch. It was busy as usually during brunch time but we luckily didn't have to wait too long for a table for 5. While we waited we grabbed mimosas at the bar. Once sat, our waitress was very attentive and quick with our orders...so why the 2 stars? Well, 45 minutes after being seated the hostess came to our table and asked us to hurry up because they needed to seat more groups. We hadn't even finished our food or the carafe of mimosas we ordered (mind you the carafe was a bottle of champagne with 2 ounces of orange juice -she literally gave us one shot glass of OJ for 5 of us to make out mimosas with). We of course didn't leave as we were still enjoying what we had purchased. So, 15 minutes later (still had champagne to finish) she came by again and asked us to leave to make room. I've never felt so under appreciated in a sit down service restaurant before. I don't know many places where, with a party of 5, you can order lattes, mimosas and a full breakfast and be expected to be out in under 1 hour. I won't be returning any time soon... read more

I wanted to love Rembrandts, because it's a brunch place inside of an old church, which is a really cool concept. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par, overpriced, and the line to get in was long. After the long wait to be seated, I was starving and looking forward to feasting on some delicious brunch food. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was enormous. At first look, I was happy with my gigantic burrito, but once I started eating it I realized how impractical its presentation was: a huge burrito, cut diagonally so the contents were spilling all over the place, served on a too-small plate. The burrito halves were so big that they were served on top of each other since they didn't fit side by side. So yeah, it was a pain to eat. I would have preferred them to serve it on a larger plate so I could have eaten it like a civilized person, without making a huge mess. Logistics of the burrito aside, it just wasn't that good. It didn't have very much flavor, but it might have been better without so much cheese. My husband ordered the chorizo scramble which was also loaded with cheese. He peeled off most of the cheese layer before even attempting to eat it. Overall, Rembrandts has a classy vibe but the food just doesn't live up to it. read more

Waited forever for a waiter to come to me. Took a long time to get a drink. I asked for ketchup two times. Didn't refill my coffee. I had a hard time paying the bill. They never brought me my receipt I asked for, or refilled my water. When I did pay, they brought one of those hand held devices to pay and that only had 18% to 25% for tip. I just wanted to leave so I pushed the 18% which they didn't deserve... and I can only imagine how filthy those things are. My hands were sticky! The waiters were fake nice, not sincere. read more

The food and environment are great - but I can't shake the feeling of my privacy being invaded when the owners gave a private detective my contact information after I had dinner there. Apparently someone scratched one of the two Lamborghini's illegally parked in their gravel lot and the vehicle owner was attempting to find the culprit to sue them over and above their insurance repair cost for the original parts replacement of their car. Initially they thought I may have been the driver of the offending Mini Cooper - alas, I drive a Prius! The story made me ill for the person who would be held responsible not for the repair, as any normal accident may require, but for original parts replacement which I felt was absolutely obscene. I would have preferred my privacy was respected and my contact info was not released. read more

I was really hesitant on going back to this place. I fell in love with classic coffee shop with original architecture. Although I loved previous aesthetic I'm really pleased with the new look and the amazing restaurant addition. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the burger with fries which was phenomenal. The presentation was gorgeous and I was so content with my meal. I feel like the price is fair as well. I was a little displeased that the coffee in the foyer isn't complimentary as it was added to my bill. It appears that it would be a complimentary coffee while you wait for a table. I did bring it up to the server and she graciously removed from my bill. Other than that I would say this place is worth the visit! read more

came here on sunday for brunch with my mom and my young son. the actual restaurant is a church that has been converted into a restaurant- pretty interesting! the inside is very modern with beautiful abstract art on the walls and stunning chandeliers hanging. everyone was drinking mimosas so we decided to join in. they are only $5 so not a bad deal. they were just okay. the prices reflect the decor and ambience in my opinion. they are a little bit pricy but you get what you pay for. my mom ordered the veggie scramble and I ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich. both were fresh and delicious. I enjoyed my sandwich quite a bit. the turkey was flavorful and the portion was generous. my son loved it too! the sweet potato fries were disappointing as they are shoe string. that's just a personal preference. I would recommend this place and plan on coming back for brunch again. it was a hip little spot with good food and cool ambience. read more

My wife has been here a few times before we came together and has raved about their salads. Food: We went together Sunday for a late lunch. We both ordered a pastrami sandwich and garlic fries. The pastrami was lean as we were told by the waitress that it would be but really didn't have much flavor. The fries were crispy and good (we asked for crispy) and had just the right amount of garlic on them...not overpowering. My wife wished she had ordered another salad of which they seem to have a nice selection of. I had been here only one other time; for breakfast with a friend. He had raved about the breakfast. I found it to be "pretty good" with an ample amount of food but nothing special. Service: It wasn't very busy around 2:30PM on the Sunday we went but yet the service was a little lagging. After the Waitress came by to offer us water, it was awhile before she took a drink order from us. I guess they don't introduce themselves (that I recall, to be fair) and they don't wear name tags (I looked for one) but here is the "uncomfortable" part....in delivering our bill to us, which is done at the table with a little electronic gizmo, the Waitress says to me "Here is your bill. No rush though. It is set for a 20% tip but you can change it if you'd like to" and then just stands there expecting the gizmo right back immediately. WTH? My wife and I like to discuss the tip we'll leave over the last of our water or drinks as we are generous tippers but also realistic about the food and service value when tipping. My thought on this shenanigan tactic is that this "20% but you can change it" is very effective in getting their 20% tip. It IS uncomfortable to the customer however. CHANGE THIS TACTIC, MANAGEMENT. That is baloney. Summary: I'd come back again but it will be for a salad next time. My wife feels the same way. I will update our review upon the experience based on our next return. read more

Beautiful building, terrible service. We were there 2 hours for sandwiches, and were attacked constantly by flies the entire time. Swatting constantly. The waitress seemed to be completely relaxed and yet wouldn't refill water at all, even when we asked. Food was good, but portions don't match the prices (10-12$ a sandwich) I had to get my own missing sauce because the waitress never seemed to have time for us. And witnessed others going up and getting their own water. Very very very relaxed and not attentive attitude from the staff. read more

We had heard good things about Rembrandt and were happy to sit on the patio by the fountain with a bloody Mary, waiting for our table. When we got inside, the decor was pleasant and the atmosphere was good. My son ordered the breakfast quesadilla which was good. I'm glad he shared because while my dish was edible, it was uninspired. I ordered the sauted brussle sprout, sweet potato hash. It had apples and caramelized onions. I also ordered a side of the sausage because the description looked interesting. First off, the sausage was no different than any decent sausage link but the flavors described were not there. The real disappointment was with the hash. Maybe I should have expected sliced, steamed vegetables but when I order hash, I assume fried, roasted or in some otherwise browned or caramelized. I guessed when they stated sauted, they would be sauted enough to give color, texture and taste. No such luck. There were caramelized onions but they were clearly not cooked with the hash. Just a scoop mixed in from the bin in the prep station. The apples had so much promise and looked like they had been lightly baked but roasted would have lit them up nicely. The sweet potatoes were sparce and unevenly cut to the point where one piece was somewhat raw in the center and too big for a normal sized bite. Brussel sprouts were the primary ingredient but basically just steamed. They state they were sauted, and maybe they tossed them in a hot pan briefly, but a hash without ever hitting a grill or an oven, I can't figure out what the thinking was here. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly but I loaded up and salt and pepper since there didn't appear to be any in the hash I felt bad about how much I added but even that couldn't save this dish. I clean my plate most days but I left most of this for the dishwashers to handle. My wife had the avocado toast. The menu stated an avacado spread, indicating some seasoning of some sort. This was just chunked avacado and once again, no seasoning at all. It had halved cherry tomatoes rather than the heirloom tomatoes listed on the menu. The cherry tomatoes could have worked but once again, roast or grill them. Put some character and flavor on the plate. The arugula was to have S and P, olive oil and a champagne vinegarette. None of that was present, nor was there any sign of the listed cotija cheese Overall, a nice setting and atmosphere and a menu with a lot of promise. Unfortunately, the follow through is either a problem with menu design or management not pushing a culture of excellence. Either way, I won't likely wait in line for this place again. Food was fine but I would not say it is a family friendly restaurant- we brought our baby in the car seat and were given a high table with no place to put her but the floor several feet below us (we expected to put the car seat on the floor just not so far that we can't keep an eye on baby), no kids menu even though we had our three year old son with us, and no kids cups for drinks (just an open glass of water with no straw). I understand the busyness of Saturday morning for breakfast restaurants but the staff just seems too absorbed by that to pay attention to who they are serving. read more

While visiting friends in Eagle, they wanted to take us to Rembrandts for lunch. Located in an old church, the atmosphere was very cool and unique. We were seated immediately and our server was a bundle of energy with a huge smile on her face and so nice. She brought waters immediately, and we were ready to order. My husband had the Avocado Eggs Benedict, it was a beautiful plate of food and was filled with creaminess from the Avocado, the yolk of the egg and the sauce. The muffin was crispy and he loved it. I had the Grilled Cheese with jalapeno marionberry jam, pepperjack cheese and bacon, served with crisyp sweet potato fries. The bacon tasted house made and was slabbed bacon, smoked and the fat rendered very well, it was crispy but tender. The smokiness of the bacon offset the heat from the pepperjack cheese. The Marionberry in the jam added a lovely sweetness. Truly the perfect bite. Great little spot in Eagle. read more

It would not be so bad if the long wait was't with ton of flies landing on us the whole time. I had high hopes for this place because my family loves their sister restaurant. But the food and the service were terrible. I'm giving one star for the ambiance. We sat on the patio and it was lovely. The second star for the server offering us separate checks which was nice and made it easy to split. I ordered the kobe bacon burger medium on a gluten free bun, and asked for it to be toasted, with fries. The burger came out medium well at best, the bun was not toasted, it was completely dry, no house made ketchup, no crispy onions, the fries were soggy, and the burger was not seasoned well, kinda bland. I realize that either the server or the chef left off the crispy onions thinking I wouldn't want them because they are probably not gluten free but nobody asked me and I did want them. Our server checked on us 3 times while we waited for our food, which took a pretty long time. I don't know how long it was because I was engaged in conversation, but it was much longer than it should have been. I saw a table next to us come after we did and were served much quicker. My guess is our server forgot to put our order in. When our food finally arrived, I asked for a side of aioli right away, as did my friend, it never came, and our server didn't come check on us once after our food came out until we were done. So, bland, dry burger, soggy bun, soggy fries, terrible service. Oh and we had to ask for silverware, the server brought a handful of forks and just held them over the table waiting for one of us to grab them, no knives, no napkins, so we had to ask for those too. Lastly, the bathroom was dirty and smelly. It is obvious that it is not cleaned daily. I'm sure they have better menu items, better servers, and better cooks than I experienced based on several good reviews I've read, but it was too bad to ever return. read more

3 of us went there yesterday morning for beakfast (Sunday10/29/23), first time there the place was really quaint and cute prices looked decent food being served looked great. I ordered the salmon bene the ladies ordered as well. My benes came with yolk rock hard so I waved the young girl over to let her know, she came back with a plate said "here put your eggs on the plate I'll get you new ones" then quickly vanished... you're the server, I'm paying you, it is not my job but I digress. Not once did she offer anything to eat while the others at my table ate. 10 mins later I see my eggs in the window waiting, in the meantime the other two at my table were almost finished with their breakfasts. 5 mins into staring at my eggs under the heat lamp (a total of 15 mins since I sent them back) I called my waitress over to let her know I'm no longer interested in breakfast she seems quite surprised with not a clue how to respond. AFter that she avoided our table no eye contact either. This is both a server issue as well as very poor training to deal with things when they don't go perfectly. We won't be back sadly as we live right up the street. read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have better reviews. Rembrandts is a charming breakfast and lunch eatery in downtown Eagle. I enjoy walking here for breakfast and when the weather is pleasant (as it is for most of the year) I sit outside in their spacious patio area. The patio area is perfect for those that want to bring their well-behaved pup along. The food is good- simple and classic. There are vegetarian options too. The only complaint is that the food is pricey for what you get. Staff are hardworking and friendly. A true gem in Eagle. read more

We were excited about this place but the service seemed a bit chaotic. We were forgotten about in the beginning as we were told we could wait outside to be seated so we sat near the outdoor heaters at a dirty table. The table was cleared but never wiped down and our names never called. After we were done eating and plates cleared we sat outside for a good 15 minutes for our check. Went inside to ask and pay and it took three people to figure out that our ticket wasn't in the system or even an Im sorry for the inconvenience. Ive worked in retail and food industry for over a decade and am aware of errors happening but this seemed unprofessional and unempathetic towards your customers who's first time it was visiting. Not a great first impression for me. I also do not want to be called "sis" or "babe" from my waitress. Very cringy. My pancakes were amazing though and so was my mimosa so Id give that 5 stars for sure! I hope the service can be a bit more professional and more of an I care about my customers time and service attitude. read more

However, the service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The mochas were good as well as the vanilla almond scone. Man this place has gone downhill. Poorest excuse for biscuits & gravy I've ever experienced. "Bland" is never a word I thought I would use when describing B&G but that's exactly what it was. The "gravy" was more like soup and the "biscuit" hardly resembled one and nothing on the entire plate had any flavor whatsoever. On top of that everything was room temperature and there was only enough sausage soup to cover one half of the Subway bread roll. read more
