I think a quick, are you waiting for anything else would solve this confusion and can check for issues or questions someone might have. Ambiance - due to no WiFi atm, it's more of a casual sit down place. The only issue is that they were running out of spaces to sit due to the amount of people coming in. Beautiful interior tho! Parking - extremely small lot, maybe 5 spots and 1 spot dedicated for mobile pickups. There is street parking and for pay parking lot right next to it but only M-F you need to pay. I came for restaurant week- I wanted to try their smash burger and bone marrow deal. The burger was so good- it was a little greasy but that means it was good cheese the bone marrow was so good- I highly recommend getting fries to eat it on! Love this place. I can't recall what coffee shop this was previously but I'm in love with the space and the vibes of it. All the renovations and lights made me feel more excited for the holidays. The coffee was delicious and even though it seemed like a popular time/day, I received my order fairly quickly. There were so many people sitting and chatting on the tables without anymore food or drinks so it was annoying having to wait for a booth, specially with a toddler. I've come here a few times and most recently during Fremont Restaurant Week. Both the deep dish pizza and bone marrow smash burger were delicious! It was very rich without it being "too much". Their coffees and matchas always hit the spot as well. With it being a busy time to visit, it was hard to find a table for my group of 4. However we were able to make it work on their second level after swapping some chairs around with the other parties near by. All the staff we've interacted with thus far are also super sweet. I've been several times to this location. The service, the food and the coffee is hit or miss. I've been when everything from the pizza to the espresso and tonic was fantastic. I've been there when our food was forgotten and the coffee pills were almost sour or over pressed. And this last time the person taking orders was entirely unpleasant and had an attitude. I have visited renegade at least 30 times. As I live almost next to it. This is by far the best spot to get a good coffee and brunch at. It's pretty packed on weekends but I swear it's worth the wait. Staff here are very friendly amidst their busy service. Every corner of the shop is so Instagram worthy. My favorites are their avocado toast. I mean many might wonder what's in a toast. I swear I have had worse. This is so well done. Their pizzas are to die for. Their truffle esp is such a star dish. It was yummy but I personally doing the Impossible sausage a tad salty; this is expected given that it's processed fake meat. :) it was still delicious and worth trying. My friend got the avocado toast and let me try some: I loved their take on the tried-and-true coffee staple: the ubiquitous avocado toast. Renegade's version takes things up a notch with a wonderful combination of different flavors and textures: you have the crunch from the pepitas, a nice kick from the chili crisp sauce, and creamy fat from the avocado. I'd get this next time! I also for an oat milk latte which wasn't bad! It wasn't as good as Ritual or Four Barrel (my favorite roasters), but I could taste the espresso. The drinks here are high quality and delish! I usually order a matcha, less sweet with oat, and my partner likes to get a standard latte with honey or some sort of sweetener. The wait is about a few minutes to get our drinks if there's not a long line, otherwise the longest we've waited is 10 min. They offer food and you can order with the cashier, then pick up outside at the food truck. This place used to be a bank and the way it was redecorated was thoughtful. Lots of seating area both upstairs and downstairs. I'd recommend going early if you want to beat the crowd. There's no WiFi, so it doesn't seem like a suitable spot for students to study... unless they provide their own hotspot. The main lot parking is meh, so it's best to either park on the streets or in the bigger public lot to save yourselves the headache. read more

Great ambiance. Tasty food. Get their Detroit pizzas! They're delicious! I would and have visited specifically for the pizza. The first one I ordered had pesto and prosciutto. Crispy edges, light and fluffy on the inside. So much flavor. The second was a mushroom & ricotta personal pizza with extra mushrooms. So yummy. This place does get busy on weekends. We had to wait 30 minutes our first time just to receive our coffees. That doesn't include our wait time in line. Also, they have very spacious booths downstairs. Big plus for groups. Unfortunately, since there is no host in charge of seating, these booths can be taken by a single person or a couple which has been the case almost every time I've been there. I've never really been a fan of their coffee. Personally, over roasted beans is not my thing. After visiting Costa Rica, harvesting my own berries in the field, watching the whole drying process, roasting beans, and sampling different batches, my taste buds are very picky now. What I will drink here is their hot chocolate with oat milk. It's not cloyingly sweet like other coffee shops. It has good flavor and just a hint of sweetness. Oh! Also, parking is a nightmare here. There's only a handful of dedicated parking spots. They lost a few to the food truck that actually cooks the food you order. We're longtime fans of Devout Coffee, so we were stoked to hear that they opened a cafe concept. We stopped by on a Saturday morning for some coffee and brunch. There was a line out the door, but the line moved pretty quickly. You place your order first before finding a seat. There's no shortage of space -- two levels of chairs, tables, and booths to choose from. There's a variety of coffee and food to choose from. Lattes, cappuccinos, pour overs, toasts, and Detroit-style pizzas. They also have seasonal specials! Gingerbread cappuccino. Seasonal! Sooo warm and spicy like true gingerbread without the overpowering sugary syrup taste. Winter in a cup, for sure. Pour over. For the purists who just want to try out delicious coffees. Devout's pour overs never disappoint. French Toast. The highlight of this is the bruleed bananas. Caramelized and sweet but also slightly salty. Super delicious and melt-in-your-mouth. Truffle Shuffle. Detroit-style pizzas aren't too common, but they are SO GOOD. They're characterized by a thick, fluffy crust and caramelized cheese along the edges. You can order a half pie or whole pie; we opted for a half for 2.5 of us (2 adults + 1 toddler) and it was more than enough. I wanted a bit more truffle flavor to come through on the pizza, but overall still tasty! Bonus brownie points for the play coffee cart for littles to be occupied with while the adults get their caffeine fix! I'll be honest and admit I haven't tried their drinks, since I'm assuming it's similar (if not identical) to drinks at Devout. Pictures I see have me itching to go for brunch one weekend morning, but the only thing holding me back is the parking situation. Unfortunately the service and staff were unwelcoming and unaccommodating, enough so that I wouldn't come back. Wanted to add some more milk into a drink and they refused, which is fine, but they don't provide any station with half & half, honey, sugar, and other add ins to be able to do it yourself. As we went to leave the manager very rudely asked us to bus our table and take the dishes to a side bin, which I'm happy to do, but isn't made clear anywhere is the expectation and it could have been asked in a much nicer way. I first discovered Renegade from a Yelp event, and after that, I made a note to myself to come back when I could. They were already busy when I arrived a few minutes before 10 am. The line to order was getting long, but the staff managed to welcome the customers who were coming in. They also cleaned the tables as much as they could. I ordered the old-fashioned cappuccino, latte, and their weekly special pizza, The Chelsea. My drink was made quickly. The coffees were good; not too strong, but good enough to wake you up. The pizza was also great. Everything tasted fresh. I liked the pesto flavor and the prosciutto slices in each slice. They do not have wifi, so you'll be chatting with people around you. Parking is limited, but there's street parking and a paid lot by the train station nearby. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Renegade By Devout. There is great coffee, drinks, and people here. Finally got a chance to try before it gets crazy for the holiday season. Small line for a Saturday morning but that moved quickly. Ample places to sit including community tables. All the food was delish and came out in a timely fashion. I had the breakfast sando, wife had the salmon toast and we split the Detroit Style Pizza. The breakfast sando was great. The pizza was about 5 mins from perfection. Parts of the dough inside was still raw. The outside was beautifully crispy. New favorite cafe in Fremont unlocked. I came across this spot on IG and instantly knew I had to try it. My friend and I came on a Saturday morning for brunch around 10:15 am. There was a short line ahead of us and it was pretty busy inside, but thankfully there were still a few tables available. We ordered the smoked salmon platter, Spicy Adan Detroit style pizza, a pour over coffee, and a gingerbread cappuccino. Everything was SO delicious. I loved the gingerbread cappuccino (seasonal drink) with the spiced whipped cream. I also tasted my friend's pour over and the coffee was top notch. She got a medium blend. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the roast off the top of my had but had very nice notes and was so smooth. The food portions were much larger than I expected. The smoked salmon platter was pretty standard but tasty nonetheless. The Spicy Adan Detroit style pizza (full size) was delicious which a super crunchy crust and great flavor. The slices were very hearty - 6 squares in a full size pizza. I would come back here just for the pizza. The interior is so cute. I absolutely loved the decor and the ambiance. The best pizza in Fremont is inside a coffee shop?! I recently went to Renegade by Devout Coffee and was pleasantly surprised by their food! The Detroit pizza was delicious! It was so crispy and cheesy!! Their breakfast sandwich is perfect for a light breakfast! Coffee was great as well! Their house syrup was not too sweet and paired perfectly with the latte. Love how they serve Devout Coffee here - it's a lot closer than the one in Niles when I want a mid-day break. I wish it was open longer on the weekdays, but it could be because not much people come after 2PM. The parking lot is small, so it can suck if you are in a rush. I think it can accommodate maybe 6-8 cars? I have to check and do an update review once I try their food. At least there is street parking close-by. It's beautiful inside and a great place to catch up with friends/family. Like many reviews mention, there isn't wi-fi available. I guess it's not bad if you are purely catching up with friends, reading, or working on something where you don't need connection. I've been to Renegade a couple times now and the experience there has been pretty solid. If you're a fan of Devout Coffee then you're in luck because they're part of the same family. I've tried their French toast, 2 Egg Combo, and pizza- all quite good. Overheard them talking about a thanksgiving pizza- would love to see that lol! We also tried this old fashioned latte which was pretty nice also (definitely like the cocktail, but booze free of course). This is probably also the nicest renovation this former bank has gone through in recent years. If only the parking lot could be expanded, but the street parking is alright. We will be back for sure. My favorite place in Fremont to grab coffee. Pour over is my favorite style because to get it right takes a certain "devotion." It's nuanced, complex with just the right amount of hipster pretentiousness sprinkled in. This coffee shop also has one of the more exciting menus in the area, avocado toast is worth it, and good smashburger with garlicky fries. They do not offer WiFi and that's okay people. Renegade is a decently sized two-floor cafe that has interesting drinks and great food. They have a rotating menu of seasonal drinks which is what I'll typically select from. As far as food goes, I always opt for one of their Detroit pizzas as they have all been excellent (just note that you'll have to grab it from the food truck outside though). They do have sandwiches, salads, and pastries available as well. They can get backed up during peak hours, even with online orders, and it may be hard to find space to sit.
