Worst food experience on our cross-country road trip. I placed an online order of two chicken gyros, a Greek Salad, fries and baklava for my 8yr old daughter and I. Let's start with the two two men working behind the counter who didn't want to be there and were making it known to all. The one walked away from me standing at the register and started putting chairs up on tables while myself a several other people stood in line at the register being ignored. May I mention it was nowhere near closing time. Based on those two I should have known to check my order, but honestly I would NOT have wanted to ask them to remake it (if you've seen the movie Waiting... you will get what I mean). I got our food, drove 45 min to our hotel only to discover they were not chicken gyros, they were regular gyros and neither of us eat beef or lamb - so that put us out our dinner. On top of that the most of the toppings were missing. We went for the salad thinking we at least had something -- NOPE --it had no salad dressing anywhere to be found. So we ate a few fries which were cold and old, but that's on us as we didn't eat them right away, and a piece of baklava. Ended up having to order dinner elsewhere to fill up. I sent the restaurant a message about it and got a response saying they would refund me $14.26. Why they would not refund the total for all the food their staff messed up ($21ish) is beyond me and just solidified (as if it needed more) this place taking the #1 spot on our worst food experience list. read more

I love Greek food, and Renzios did not disappoint. I had the chicken gyro and fries. The chicken was flavorful and the pita was fluffy and delicious. I don't care too much for battered type fries, but they weren't bad, just not my cup of tea. The staff is nice and the food came out quick. read more

Mediocre food at ridiculous prices. The calamari had more breading and better than actual calamari itself and tasted more like bread. The biggest joke was the Gyro itself . When you order a Gyro with tomato and cheese as the toppings you expect these to be there. While there was some cheese, the joke was the tomato. The entire order had half a slice of tomato. We're not talking about half a tomato we're just talking about half of a slice of tomato. This is a total joke. If you're looking for some good Gyros this is your spot. The chicken or beef are as good as the pictures. The place is always busy but clean. As a food delivery person, I picked up two orders in a row today from Renzios. 1st order: they didn't know they had it until I showed up, now the customer had to wait longer. 2nd order: They didn't read the full order and only prepared 1/3 of it, as I waited for the rest of the food, I continually listened to them complain that "this is bullshit" and "are we the only place open today?". read more

Ordered the gyro meal with onion, tomatoes, 2 extra sides of tizki sauce and a salad instead of fries. My daughter placed the order for me while she was at the mall and told them "gryo meal with the salad". They charged her for a full salad. Ok...I can see the confusion. However, the gyro had no tomatoes and no extra sides of sauce (nor was it put on the gyro) and was given a side of feta which was not ordered. When I called to say something the womans response was "you can come back in and get the tomatoes and extra sauce". I thought it was a joke. Thusly informed her I'm across town at home and she snarkly says "well I don't know what you want me to do about it". So you want me to drive back across town to pick up the tomatoes and sauce YOU forgot, drive back to my house, and put those item on what would then be a nasty, soggy gyro? Makes sense. You know what I want you to do about it? Take a class in customer service. I worked in customer service for years and the key is logic. How logical is it for ME to waste more gas and time because YOU can't figure out how to do your job? How about "im so sorry ma'am for our mess up. How about next time you come in we can give you a discount/or free drink/or free gyro/or SOMETHING other than a crap attitude towards you, the customer, who paid for good and service that we failed to deliver on". read more

I personally like the Beef Gyros here. They always have a fresh taste, and amazing flavor. I've also had their french fries and cheese sticks from here, and they have great flavor also. I'm not sure if they change their oil as often as they should, but it adds great flavor to their fried products. They also have seasoning available, that's really good on the fries. The food is alright, and not too pricey. Don't look around at the floors or behind the counter though- it's pretty dirty. There is a lot of clutter in this restaurant too (stacks of boxes, ketchup packets and paperwork scattered on the food pickup counter) and the booths are made of very uncomfortable hard plastic. There is a bit too much lettuce put on the gyro, but the pitas are very fluffy and yummy and the lamb not too dry. The last time I went there I was with my husband and young son on a Monday lunch hour. We ordered and sat down. Then we tuned in to the music and realized we were listening to unedited old school hip hop and rap. It was hilarious to us but HIGHLY inappropriate. "BEYATCH!" and the F-bomb is just not what we want to hear while my family eats, especially at a mall with families as primary customers. Try it for the food (to-go preferably) but don't expect much. With increasing options for dining at Frontier Mall, this place could use some serious retooling. read more

I just finished reading all of the snobby-sounding negative Denver reviews ("I've had authentic Greek food" blah blah blah...), and I'm here to tell ya...don't come here for "authentic greek" food! Don't even expect to have much lamb on the menu. DO come here for a tasty fast-food alternative to the usual tacos and burgers. The gyros and fries are, frankly, delish! Ask for extra yogurt/cucumber sauce and enjoy. The staff that I personally have experienced are friendly and will go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied. Keep in mind that this is American fast-food, not an expensive gourmet Greek restaurant. Lighten up and enjoy. read more
