We happened to find this restaurant on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. However, perhaps because the staff were prejudiced against us for being Japanese, our food took far longer to arrive than that of customers who ordered after us. It clearly felt like discrimination. Regardless of race or nationality, every customer deserves to be treated equally and with respect. A business cannot expect customers to return if it makes no effort to provide fair service. The staff member who caused us such discomfort and disregarded our basic dignity should be deeply ashamed. And to make matters worse, the food wasn't even good.
Staying in the area and looking for a good place to eat. This one came up with good reviews and took reservations. It was Friday night at 6:30 and pretty busy. There was a band playing, which made it loud. The restaurant is on the second floor and we were sat next to the open rooftop overlooking the harbor. It was a fantastic view. The service was great and the food delicious. Glad we decided not to head into Waikiki for dinner and came here instead!
Neat little place! Very humid indoors because it's open so if you're not used to the weather here it's a lot! It's a beautiful view overlooking the marina and all the sail boats! Food was delicious! Service was excellent! Glad we visited!
Say for the longest time ever, waiting n pretty much stared at ny waitress to get her attention but nope she's too busy talking to her colleague... Asked another server but she busted it off and said she will get our waitress for us... she kept talking n nothing happened till 10 mins after... If you are so busy serving the bar customers maybe remain there and not take other tables... another waitress ended up-taking our order as i resting birch face out... Who brings u ur food and comes back in 2 secs just to ask " hows the food looking". The " famous clam chowder" over advertisement!!! I had 2 pcs of clams in my "cup". The mahi mahi was my fav. Cooked to the right texture...but the seasoning for the fish could of used a bit of salt. The fish n chip.... I like how its not the typical cod... but it tastes like defrost, refried fish...
Restaurant 604 | Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam | Island of Oahu Misoyaki Butterfish! What do you want to eat? Misoyaki Butterfish! What do you want to order? Misoyaki Butterfish! What are you ono for? Misoyaki Butterfish! So, I guess whenever I hear the numbers "604", this is the first thing I hear my tummy say: Misoyaki Butterfish! Lol. I've been coming to this area for many years. I used to party with my UH Tsai-ko Football Fan friends back when Colt Brennan was the UH QB and for many years afterward, until COVID took over our lives and the stadium eventually moved to the UH Ching Athletic Field at the Manoa Campus. Curiously, despite using the first-floor restrooms many a time before games -- the restrooms used by military personnel who use the cabanas outside in the adjacent park -- I never once thought to come upstairs to dine at the restaurant. That is, until Mel B. held an informative Yelp event downstairs, reserving the entire section, and I finally got to taste the yummilicious selections here. Since then, I've come for UH football parties, organizational meetings and after-meeting get-togethers and dinners, and dinners with UH football fan friends, Yelp friends, work friends, and friend friends. And you know what? It's always been a good time. The restaurant dining area is upstairs on the second floor. On the mountain side is a substantial bar with seating all around its perimeter. You can sit along the ocean-side edge of the restaurant if you want a naturally spectacular ocean view, at one of the many dining tables of different heights throughout the restaurant, at the bar, or at my fav -- the high-top tables at the opposite end from the bar and off to the side near the stage. My favorite seating arrangement for a small group of two is along the open view wall overlooking the ocean. With a larger group, I like the elevated high-top tables. You can easily have a conversation if your group fits around one of the round tables or you don't mind talking across the short way of the long high-top tables. If you're planning an organizational meeting, however, you'll probably want to schedule it earlier, before the music starts playing and the dinner crowd begins filling the dining area. Popular hip-hop and '80s-'90s music can add quite a bit to the noise level later in the day, and they also have live music at times. The only meetings this place probably won't work well for are ultra-quiet meetings, Zoom meetings, and meetings needing props and a whiteboard. Lol. You can make reservations, but when you call, you'll reach a recorded voicemail and they'll call you back. It's best to call well ahead of time to ensure you have ample time to connect with the restaurant reservationists and get your arrangements squared away. The restaurant restrooms are upstairs near the bar along the opposite corner. There are staircases on either side of the building leading to the second floor, but you'll probably want to walk up the side opposite the bar. Facing the building from the parking lot, take the staircase on the left. Either staircase will lead you upstairs, but depending on which one you use, you might have to walk across the dining area to reach the front reception desk. Dining here is not quiet, but it isn't obnoxiously loud. There are usually tons of ppl dining, sitting, talking, enjoying their time. There's still ample space to walk around easily, especially going to the restroom. The menu features a variety of local Eurasian cuisine, from appetizers to full meals. You'll find popular appetizers like nachos or fries with toppings, fried calamari rings, ahi poke, popcorn chicken, coconut shrimp, spinach artichoke dip, many breakfast selections, sea items including fish & chips, and land items. Note that there is also a pretty famous Bloody Mary on the menu that used to come loaded with all kinds of amazing veggies-fruits, large shrimp, etc. Over the years, that enormous pile of garnishes has become diminutized, and no longer the huge fluffy production it once was. Too bad I never tried it in its heyday. Shucks. My favorite apps are the calamari, poke with chips, coconut shrimp, and spinach artichoke dip. But we all know why I'm really here. MISOYAKI BUTTERFISH! My favorite meal is the misoyaki butterfish, which is served on a pile of sautéed fresh local veggies with a large scoop of yummy white rice. The fish has that familiar, delicious butterfish taste I love, while the sautéed veggies and rice add their own flair and complement the fish nicely. My only complaint? They should add another scoop of rice. Not just one! :D As you can tell, my tummy can only focus on one thing! MISOYAKI BUTTERFISH! What did my tummy say? MISOYAKI BUTTERFISH! What does Jules Y. love to eat here? MISOYAKI BUTTERFISH! That's right! Whatever you choose, with so many different selections, you can be sure to find a fav of your own. YUM YUM to the 604! :D
My mom's friend recommended Restaurant 604 so we made a reservation online for 7/21/2026. I saw the ube colada on Yelp but didn't see it on the menu. When the waitress came to take our drink orders, I asked if it was available. She said yes and that they're phasing it out. As an ube lover, I was happy it was still available so of course I ordered it. Though I've never had an ube colada and don't have a point of comparison, R604's version was tasty and I loved the toasted marshmallow. For our entrees, we had the sesame poke, mahi mahi, and clam chowder. I love poke and was excited to try it in HI for the first time! While the portion was generous and the fish was fresh, I can't say it was the best poke I've had. Honestly, I've had better in CA and (surprisingly) MN. I tried both my mom's clam chowder and mahi - good but not amazing. Though we were seated right away and our waitress was friendly, the service itself leaves something to be desired. We waited a long time for the check and we got another patron's card by mistake. To their credit, they called my mom to let her know they had her card and put it in their safe until we could pick it up tomorrow. However, we were in the uber so we're unable to head back. The restaurant itself was noisy, which made having a conversation difficult. Glad we tried it but wouldn't return.
We stopped here for dinner between the airport and our hotel. Great relaxed, casual ambience, friendly service and fantastic food! I highly recommend their butterfish dinner -- light and healthy.

Restaurant 604 offers a prime waterfront location with plenty of parking and a lively atmosphere. We had a 5 p.m. reservation for a party of eight and were seated promptly once more than half of our group had arrived, which appears to be their policy for larger parties. Finding parking was easy thanks to their spacious lot, and we were lucky enough to even grab spots near the entrance. The ambiance feels very sports bar-esque, the vibe reminded me a lot of Mai Tai's but with waterfront seating. It's the kind of place that feels geared more toward kicking back with drinks and friends than having a memorable dining experience. The food photographs better than it eats. Presentation was attractive and several dishes looked promising when they arrived at the table, but the flavors never quite matched the visual appeal. Everything was decent enough, yet there wasn't a single dish that made me want to order it again. Our party ordered a variety of dishes, and the total bill came out to about $265 including tip. What really disappointed me was learning that the fish isn't local. My partner is an avid fisherman and asked what fish was being used in the fish and chips. We were told it was swai, which is imported from Southeast Asia and typically served frozen. For a waterfront restaurant in Hawaii that leans into local-style cuisine, that was a letdown. I also ordered the miso butterfish, which happens to be one of my favorite fish dishes. While the preparation itself was decent, I'm fairly certain what I was served was not butterfish. It tasted more like a generic white fish and lacked the rich, buttery texture and flavor that make butterfish so distinctive. Service was also fairly efficient throughout the meal, with the first round of dishes arriving about 30 minutes after we were seated and the remaining meals following shortly after. Overall, I'd recommend Restaurant 604 more for drinks than for dining. The happy hour appears to be a strong draw, and I can absolutely see this being a fun place to meet up with friends, enjoy a few cocktails, watch a game, and take in the waterfront views. If you enjoy the vibe of Mai Tai's, you'll probably enjoy spending time here. However, if you're specifically looking for standout food or fresh local seafood, there are better options elsewhere on the island.
We went to 604 for my cousin's birthday. It was nice to see Kaipo Kapua performing for the evening Sunset dinner. I ordered the taco karaoke and the $6 clams. I also ordered a plantation iced tea. The rest of the table ordered things like the spinach artichoke dip and the prime rib pupus. The wait time was a little longer given it was a busy night but overall the customer service was on point. They knew things were running behind and they did their best to communicate and always keep us in the loop of things. It was nice to be there since I haven't been there in a while. The parking is generous and if you get there just in time you can catch a glimpse of the sunset and the best music from local artists.
I met a couple of friends for dinner tonight at my suggestion. They are visiting and the view is breath taking. We were able to sit by the water and enjoy the view. It was Pau Hana and the place was hopping. Our server was friendly. We didn't have to ask him for water, he immediately asked what our drink order was in addition to water. My friends ordered their Bloody Mary and I ordered a local brew called Cliff. My friends had been waiting to have a Bloody Mary since they arrived on island and they told me it was worth the wait. I have some food allergies and I told my server right away. He went to the kitchen and one of the options I could have was the Loco Moco. Loco Moco is one of my favorite things to eat. Instead of the mac salad I had a green salad. I was quite happy with my meal. Check out Restaurant 604 if you are ever in the area.
Usually go to 604 in Waianae but closed for a week, so went here for first time. Loved it. 6.04$ menu is great. Had a great time for first time.
Im a local and didn't even know about this place (I know embarrassing) but oh man were they busy! Very spacious restaurant with plentiful tables. We made a reservation and still had to wait additional 15mins to get to our table! I felt bad for the families that walked up to be on the waitlist, sorry for the wait! Menu looked very appealing and I wanted to order everything! FOOD: Loco Moco was very savory and really matched my palate, one of the better loco mocos i've had around the island Chili Tofu is on the 604 all items menu which means $6.04 for this, came out cold which is normal and came packing a punch with umami! I love kimchi, Taegu and tofu, literally this dish was made for me Mini Kalua Pork Nachos was alright. Most disappointing item of the 3 I ordered. Chips were already soggy when landed on the table. Pork was kinda chunky and hard instead of pull apart soft. Cheese sauce really threw me off, tastes plasticy and did not need to be on there, they should've subbed it with shredded cheese melted on top instead of that sauce. Service is also great! From the host to the server to the bidder and managers! they were all so friendly and professional! I felt taken care of which is exactly they do right! Highly recommend coming here for good value and good service! Avoid the Kalua Nachos tho P.S. Make reservations ahead of time, and parking is ample but can be packed so arrive timely. It gets busy and there was just 2 of us so we chose to sit on the bar rather than waiting for a table. This was my second time here, this time we just had dessert and drinks. The peanut butter crumble is a must and I don't even like peanut butter but it's too good not to order. read more

I paid $24 for three fish tacos to go... this is what I got.. three tacos piled high with salad, pico de gallo a table spoon of guacamole and a tiny piece of fish. All three tacos were like this. I would have paid $24 for two fish filled tacos. This looks like I they took a half of a filet and then cut it in three tiny pieces. Each taco looked just like the one pictured here. Unhappy customer to say the least. Also the girl that helped me was not friendly or inviting at all. No customer service skills. Will not return. read more

Came here on a Friday afternoon to celebrate a retirement for a party of 25. Not the best restaurant to celebrate a retirement because it was super busy and very loud. Before we got to 604, we wrote down what we wanted on a piece of paper. When we got there, we gave the paper to the waitress and we got our food within 20-25 min. I ordered the ahi katsu. It looked really good, however, I enjoyed the salad more than the ahi katsu - it was a little rubbery. We also ordered the Kalua pig nachos. Those were very tasty! read more
We went to 604 for lunch after a morning at the Pearl Harbor Memorial. Wife's idea and she knew I'd like this kind of place (cozy bar restaurant) and I did. I love a good Bloody Mary and they say their Bloody Mary is the best in the state. It was really good. They pack a small salad on top practically with a shrimp cocktail, steak bite, cheese and your usual celery and veggies. If it's not the best, it's in the rankings. Started with the spinach artichoke dip which was the best food we ate. Dip was so cheesy and delicious. Fish taco plate was good, not great. Server asked to add avocado and jalapeños. My wife said bring what it comes with. The bill charged for these items and I don't eat jalapeños. My son had the breaded chicken legs which he liked. Wife has burger without patty which was ok. Cocktails were the best part. Food was pretty good. You look at the docks and harbor which is a beautiful setting. Server said it was her first day and she did well. We stopped by here for a bite to eat after being at the swap meet. It was a quick trip over and didn't disappoint. Luckily we got two seats at the bar. Score! Husband had local beer and I had the frozen Ube drink - I can't recall what it was called but it was tasty - sweet but not cloying. It was topped with whipped cream and toasted coconut. I also tried their 604 Shine - it had an interesting flavor but I didn't love it. It's a shot and I sipped it...it's me, Hi...I'm the problem, it's me. For lunch we shared the spinach / artichoke dip. It was super cheesy and tasty but the chips it was served with were not our cup of tea. For lunch, we both had the Kalua Pork Plate with rice and macaroni salad. I loved the atmosphere so much that I am bummed to say that the pork was so incredibly salty, it was inedible. We took a few bites and let it go. The Mac salad was warm and tasteless. I've never had warm macaroni salad and I don't plan to repeat that. The rice was good. We met two really nice people while there, the service was fast, and we had a great time. It gets really busy and I can see why. It's right by the Pearl Harbor museum and has such lovely views. This is a tourist trap. We live close by and figured we'd give it a shot because we wanted to look out on the water and not drive far for dinner. I got the macnut mahi-mahi, and my husband got the herb and curry chicken and they both were EXTREMELY bland and not flavorful... like bad enough that we refuse to eat dinner there again. We also got the "Hawaiis best Bloody Mary" and "world famous clam chowder" both were average at best.... The ambiance of the place was nice but man the food was a HARD let down. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the food, they've master presentation but failed on taste. read more

Five stars they deserved it! It was our first time dining there although I've heard about it but ate elsewhere! Truly a place to go to eat casual dining no need to dress up come as you are! There were many young clientele families almost seems like visitors. I couldn't hear our servers name the music and a bit nosey for our early evening dining. The ambience of this restaurant is basically similar to the Fisherman's Wharf structure flare are all wooden. The sunset is outstanding with the view of the yachts neatly parked there I felt in tranquil of fun & bit nosey atmosphere the night sky of Hawaii island of o'ahu brings to all! Everyone in the room enjoying themselves! I wish I heard well our servers name right - in which I totally regret that I couldn't get! He was excellent knew his guests well taken care of! As a local we felt right in for I could see many were visitors from nearby the military base or they heard it from their stay where the customer services rep recommends. I want to be a repeater there we live so close by! Today was my perfect day after my volunteer instructing at the senior center. We will be back for sure! Check out the photos for their fantastic sunset view from their restaurant. They also have a downstairs open air sitting not sure it's fir take out or fit parties but it was neatly made. Service, our server excellent tops to ensure his table are well taken care of. My high score for the server, bartender and food excellent, for our server recommended their Bloody Mary a cocktail I haven't had in ages! Check out the photo I've taken. I have never seen Bloody Mary taste so good in my entire lifetime! They also had bucket of beer that I saw customers ordered! Came here (11/17/24) for breakfast as we also love the view! Unfortunately, the food is not the best. My child's vanilla cream pancake had a weird rancid taste. I was trying to figure out what it was then I realized it's like dirty dish pit water of some sort. I explained it to the waiter and he apologized. My husband got the kalbi and eggs with fried rice. The fried rice was wet and mushy and the Kalbi was tough. I had the veggie omelette with roasted potatoes. The potatoes were a little raw not thoroughly cooked. Sadly not the best food experience. But the customer service was great! He handled everything well. read more

I've had this restaurant booked since 2016 and we finally made it out here! I first heard of this place when my classmate did her senior internship project here. I completely forgot my coupon I received that doesn't have an expiration date. Upon arrival it was about an hour or more wait that we were told. The bar was open but we chose to enjoy the fresh air by the boat harbor. We noticed some folks brought their drinks out so we went and ordered a couple to enjoy the sunset. (Don't forget to bring the cups back in!) Surprisingly we were called about 35minutes later. I was completely shocked because she said it would be a little more than an hour wait for a table near the water. Only the top portion of the restaurant was open. Gavin was our waiter and I have never met someone so energetic before! It was a very busy night for him. The other guy who brought out our food also had wonderful customer service. Food: We ordered the salmon bombs, kalua nachos and calamari. Gavin noted that the portions are quite big so we decided to order appetizers first and go from there. The salmon bombs were SUPER delish! I'd honestly come back for that. The kalua nachos were good. But the calamari was straight batter. I would not recommend that. All of our food came out warm...not hot..that was the only downside. Drinks: Oyster shooters with vodka was okay. $3 extra charge for the vodka. Hubby got the famous Bloody Mary twice. It was strong! Though he wishes there were more tomato juice inside. I got the pina colada and that was a creeper! I couldn't taste the alcohol but surely enough when standing it hit me. We watched what the bartender poured in my drink and wish we remembered exactly what we saw. I've never had it with whipped cream and that was the ultimate perfect mix! After reading other reviews during our wait time, I duly noted to come right when they open or be prepared to wait awhile. There was live entertainment which was nice! We came for brunch since there was no wait time to be seated. Very nice place to eat as it overlooks Pearl Harbor. There is also TV's all over playing sports for that bar vibe. We ordered some waters and mimosa's to share to start things off. For appetizers we went with the poke nachos ($18) and spinach artichoke dip ($13). Both came out at the same time. The spinach artichoke dip came out hot and sizzling. It was sooo good fresh and super cheesy! The poke nachos was bigger than I expected and it was very flavorful. Loved the addition of the sweet chili sauce. I ordered the 604 burger ($17) and got my patty medium well. My party also ordered the loco moco ($17) and the kalua pork ($15). Again, food came out all at once with very little wait time. Definitely a thumbs up for that. The burger was juicy and thick. My favorite part was the added bacon. You also need to get the garlic fries over regular fries. Loco moco was huge and there is a good spread of gravy so youll get some with every bite. I wished the kalua pork had more cabbage but that is my personal preference. Overall, good food and fast service. Views are nice and the ambiance as well. Whether you're there to eat or drink with friends/family, you'll for sure have a good time. read more

The 19th hole after golf is always something to look forward to, whether I played great or not. Today I decided on the spur of the moment to check out Restaurant 604 by the Arizona Memorial. I've been here a few times but the last time I tried coming with a golf buddy they were so busy we could barely find parking, and when we went in they were completely full so had to go elsewhere. Fortunately, this time I parked and walked right in. The bar was full but Jamie (bartender) let me sit at one of the high tops nearby and served me straight away. This place is part of the 604 group (I believe) of which Mangiamo 604 (at the Navy Marine golf course) is part of. I've been there several times and like both places a lot but this place is a little easier to get to. They're known for their signature Bloody Mary so of course I started with that while looking over the menu. Since it was only about 4:20pm, they only offer the appetizer menu plus the burger and the fish and chips. The full menu is available starting at 5pm. I was fine with that and ordered the crispy pork belly and the Kalua pig nachos. Both items were very good. The crispy pork was served like a Lechon with onions, tomatoes and a vinegar soy dipping sauce on the side. The nachos were topped with Kalua pig, salsa and green onions (You can also add avocado and jalapeños). The serving size is big enough for two to share but since it was just me, I had to take home about half of each... especially since I had a second Bloody Mary (so good). The cocktail comes with so many "toppings"; cocktail shrimp, celery, green olive, onion, cherry tomato, bacon, cheese bite, pickled green bean, pineapple slice, lime wedge (In sure I'm forgetting something) it's like having a little appetizer side dish. It is an open air environment so on a day like today it can get pretty warm, but it's Hawaii so still nice. The view of the ocean and the sunset are spectacular so that's always a great time to come. Reasonable price, good location, food and service. Solid 4.5 stars. read more

Brunch & delicious drinks and appetizers?! This place has it all!! I've come here a couple of times once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times were delicious and both times they had entertainment. The first time the NFL game was playing and we stayed to watch, drink, and eat. My family ordered the mimosa flight which came with one bottle of champagne and 3 different juices (pineapple, guava, and POG). They really enjoyed it! My dad and sister-in-law ordered their infamous Bloody Mary. This drink came fully loaded with skewers of meat, shrimp, olives, and celery! They said it was pretty spicy but enjoyed it. For food, we ordered the french toast and the 604 Breakfast. It was a lot of food for a reasonable price! Most recently, I came here with some friends for dinner. We ordered the Kalua Nachos and Garlic Fries for appetizers and they were a pretty big portion. The nachos were delicious! Tortilla chips covered in kalua pig, nacho cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, and cilantro ranch. We were also given a side of avocado and jalapenos (I'm not sure if this comes with it?) The Garlic Fries were sooo good! I personally don't like it when there are huge chunks of garlic on the fries so this one was perfect for me. It was drenched in butter, garlic sauce and topped with shredded parmesan cheese. For dinner, I ordered the Fish and Chips with furikake fries. The fish was lightly battered and crispy with furikake. It also came with a homemade tartar sauce. The fries were topped with furikake and a spicy mayo sauce. The pineapple slaw was sweet and balanced out the savory fries and battered fish. I was honestly so full from all the kalua pig nachos that I only ate one piece out of the 3 pieces given. I did take the leftovers home and they were still good the next day. Everyone else was also pretty full from the appetizers and barely touched their food. We did take home all the leftovers! :) I would say if you're with family or friends, it would be okay to order a couple of appetizers and share. Overall, I love the ambiance here, the open air, and they have live music! The person playing live music that night was sooo good! (I'm not sure what days). The biggest CON is they don't take dinner reservations! We waited an HOUR to get a table on a Saturday night. You are allowed to order drinks at the bar while you wait. read more

This place was horrible. We got seated quickly but then we were forgotten for about 15 minutes. We ordered drinks and then an appetizer. The ribeye appetizer came out first, and we asked the runner for utensils but then took another 5-10 min later to receive them. And then we ordered our main meals when our drinks finally made it. Ordered a second round of drinks at that time as well. The food came out fairly quickly. I was NOT impressed with the tacos. They were dry and flavorless. The pork was good, but it's hard to mess up pulled pork. By the time we were finished with our meals, our second drinks never came. So we told the server to remove them and we were out of there. I can't imagine running a business this way. You have such a beautiful location and a large space. Tons of room for improvement here. read more

Loved almost everything about 604. Right on the water, filled with locals, military, fun vibe and super friendly staff, it was a great choice to end our day. 2 only downfalls - it took 25 minutes to see someone and get a glass of water and they were out of their award winning Bloody Mary. Otherwise, the shots with homemade moonshine, cocktails, poke nachos, firecracker chicken were big WINS!!! The perfect conclusion was that the front called a cab for us since our phones were dead. The old Leilehua Golf Course, Now a 604 live music with a bar, pupu, lunch, and dinner menu, ooh boy where do I start, Fried Noodles, Kalua Nachos, the menu list goes on. I will go back and try more on the menu. Highly recommended to stop by and sit and look at the nostalgic photos that brought me back to a place when when life was so simple then, the good life where there were no worries. This place almost gets 5 stars. Came here on a Saturday night during the live music hours I think 5-8 or 6-8pm. Waited about 45 min before getting seated. The music was great, singing was great, but boy was it way too loud. It was very difficult to make any conversation with your party. If you're intending to make any conversation, then don't come here. But, otherwise the fish was fresh and the sauteed veggies that came with it were delicious.
