I wasn't sure how it was going to go or what portion sizes were going to be, but we were pleasantly surprised! RightMealz is my favorite breakfast and meal prep spot. Not only is the food outstanding but the staff is literally the best staff at any restaurant I have ever experienced. The owner Chris made my son and I feel welcomed the first time we visited. From there I had the honor of meeting their amazing Baristas Claire and Jocelyn. Claire literally turned me into a coffee lover. It's the only place I have ever been to where every last staff members from the owner to the chefs were extremely nice. Above all this establishment makes you feel a strong sense of community. My favorite items are the Turkey Bacon breakfast sandwich, the Iced Lavender Latte (The warm one is amazing too), the green juice, the chicken Teriyaki Bowl, the vegan breakfast burrito and the chicken lettuce wraps. My son loves the vegan chocolate donuts and blueberry muffins and my mom loves the Quiche and steak sandwiches. Food is a 10/10 all around. Anyone who says otherwise is a miserable hater. Today I decided to give this place a try and ordered coffee and a pastry since the food they had seemed like run of the mill bland food. The barista warmed up the pastry and ended up deflating the pastry by overhearting it in the microwave. It was burnt. He still put it on a plate. I asked to have it to go and he held the bag open while I used my fingers to shove the scalding hot pastry into a bag. The coffee is also bad. The latte is mostly milk. Amazing breakfast. Saturday morning, before the LBC gets to bustling, first it gets swept, hosed, peeled, and prepped. I had a delicious double espresso that I proceeded to spill a bit, due to shear excitement about the presentation (nice little espresso mini mug and saucer, impossibly dark concoction with a pretty little sheet of foam over top). Next we had the breakfast burger and the breakfast sandwich. The old lady had a latte. There was no bloat. We were told by a nice fella who owns the joint that it's due to abstinence from seed oils (the freedom from bloat), nice! I had enough left over for another meal the next day (I just wish I'd had the foresight to get some extra hummus ... really creamy and tasty). The service and ambiance is excellent. Calm, great music and cleanly. The food was hands down exceptional. Fresh ingredients and the best steak sandwich we have ever had. We've had many! The portion size, cooked perfectly medium rare. The Dijon somehow paired perfectly and the bread was perfectly crispy, but soft when you bit into it that it didn't cut your mouth at all. We ordered 13 meals. The protein listed on the nutrition label was really wrong. My meal had 1 cup of brown rice and 5 medium sized shrimp and veggies. The label said the meal had 53 grams of protein. Lol. Wow, what a huge lie. It had 20 -23 grams at best. The other meals were very wrong too. I'm so disappointed that a place that claims to be macro friendly overtly lies about something so important as protein value. Anyway, thought you should know. I have had other companies lie too.
